This is an amazing home located in beautiful Pacific Beach, right next to La Jolla, in the perfect residential area, yet close to all the action and to all that San Diego has to offer.
Within minutes of the property you will be able to enjoy Ocean Beach, Bird Rock, La Jolla, Downtown San Diego, Seaport Village, Petco Park (home of Padres baseball team), the Convention Center, Little Italy, Embarcadero, Fashion Valley mall, North Park, historic Old Town, the Marina, many of the best restaurants, nightclubs, bars, Point Loma, Liberty Station, San Diego’s best breweries and much more. If you do not want to drive, I recommend using Uber X, is very inexpensive and SD Ubers offer great service in my personal experience. Public transportation is only a few steps from the house, there is a bus stop in the corner of the block where the property is located.
The beach is exactly 12 blocks away from the house. You can walk or rent bikes, there is a shop a block away from the house. If thats not an option because you are bringing the boogie boards, cooler, umbrella, chairs and other stuff that you will find in the house for your use, I recommend to take an uber, is only about $5, more inexpensive than parking.

We were VERY IMPRESSED with the entire experience! The Villa was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for the weekend! We really enjoyed the Patio area, including the hot tub. The location was perfect and walking distance from popular local restaurants! We were very satisfied with this rental and plan on staying for another long weekend! Definitely a five star stay!!!

My wife, 2 daughters and I stayed for a week and we absolutely loved it. Extremely clean upon arrival. Great communication with the property manager, clear access info.
The patio is just stunning. Having a Hot tub, a soaking tub and outdoor showers was just absolutely amazing, especially after coming bak from surfing or a beach day.
Everything you need for cooking in the kitchen. We grilled a couple of times. Huge tv, beautiful fire place, great internet. Super comfy beds and bedding, great water pressure. High end appliances and washer/dryer. Stand up desk.
Having AC and a parking spot was just amazing, is really hard to find in this area.
Perfect location close to the beach and to so many amazing restaurants and bars. Great coffee spots walking distance. Safe area.

2nd worst VRBO we've gotten and we average 4-8 VRBOs per year. Kitchen had absolutely no room to store any groceries in, all the shelf space was crammed full of other stuff. Had red solo cups for cups when arrived. Bathroom had no space, toilet seat was about ready to fall off, took 5 minutes to get the hair dryer out of the cupboard and then couldn't put it back in there. There was a smell inside and outside of the house that couldn't place. Had to unlock 3 locks to get into the place / leave the place (very weird configuration). 2 locks to take out the trash. Bed wasn't comfortable. Closets were already full of stuff before got there so no storage in bedroom. House is on a very busy road. Couch was terribly uncomfortable. Everything looks great on the pics but in reality, the configuration, upkeep and furnishings all stink.

Our long weekend at pacific beach was awesome. Ricardo, the host, went above and beyond for our stay. The hot tub was warm, and the outside swing bed was perfect for a mid day nap.. The space was magical, and so nice to know it was all ours for the stay. Location was awesome, maybe 20 min, if that, to downtown and balboa park. Also lots of good food close by. Thank you Ricardo, can’t wait to return!

The property looks even better than the photos. It is a quiet property but on the main street and within walking distance to great restaurants , bakeries and nightclubs/bars. We recommend the "Wildwood Flour Bakery" for delicious Conchas and the "Shawarma Shack" for great casual dining.
The property itself has large rooms with modern amenities and large screen televisions in each room. We had an unexpected larger and private feeling courtyard for ourselves and we indulged in the hot tub and outdoor showers. Also, used the swing chair to read and relax on one of our warmer days. There is also a BBQ and small outdoor cooler which we didn't have the chance to use. There are newer appliances in the well-stocked kitchen and the master room is equipped with a washer/dryer which we did use. I felt safe in the neighbor hood and walked my dog (Oh it is dog -friendly) to Mission Bay and the dog-friendly "Kate Sessions Park" for great views. There is one parking spot for each unit on the property. This was invaluable. The rooms are very clean. The property isn''t on the beach about a 25 minute walk but the location is centrally located to all the iconic destinations in San Diego.
Also, Ricardo Rodriguez was easy to communicate with; responding promptly and answering all of our questions. We were upgraded to a larger unit at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances but with that said we would have stayed at any of the units on this property and will use this property or other Zen Properties recommended by Ricardo Rodriquez on our next visit to San Diego. It was such s a restful stay for a great visit in San Diego. Highly Recommend.

Our stay was very good especially the hot tub was awesome.
I have been in a lot of hot tubs but this one was the best when it comes to massage your back.
There were two things we did not like which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.
1. The was no regular coffee maker.
2. FireTV stick is very unresponsive compared to AndroidTV or AppleTV, USB Ports of the TV were not accessible to bring your own movies on USB Disk.. And the provided channels were not what I expected (I expected "regular" cable TV)..

The home was extremely clean and sanitized. The highlight is the patio area that includes: the hot tub, bath tub, shower, bistro table and daybed swing. Be sure to read the instructions and watch the videos sent by the Ricardo (who was absolutely great) on how to work everything. I couldn’t get the living room tv to work and I have one just like it so I just watched tv in the bedroom. I’ll definitely be back!

I’m a local that had some family visit from out of town. This property was perfectly located to everything we wanted to do and within walking distance to multiple restaurants and beaches. The outside area was beautiful and the entire property was well maintained. We all had a wonderful stay.

This property is fantastic. Very quiet. I would highly recommend. Easy 15-20 minute drive to all areas. Love the privacy of the outdoor space and amenities. I also loved the extras such as be espresso, robes, and beach items.

This was a clean and well taken care of cozy little place. Was a little surprised by the indoor size, but it worked fine for our small group, and the outside patio was quite large. The design is very unique in that you are surrounded by other units, but feel like you have your own space. Great touches like board games in the closet, and a few refreshments in the fridge were very nice. The location is good for on and off the freeway, and walking to get coffee, but too far to walk to Pacific beach hotspots in our opinion. This is a pricey area to visit, so I found the price fair to equivalent to what else you can find. Would stay here again.

Peaceful and Beautiful in PB
This was our second time staying at one of Ricardo's properties. We really enjoyed our time in this villa. It was clean, modern, cozy, and perfect for our stay with our dog. We love that it is centrally located and easily accessible to so many different areas in San Diego. Having the outdoor area was lovely! We took advantage of the great weather and enjoyed every aspect of it. We will return! :-)

The entire house was very clean and stylish. Kitchen is well equipped,BBQ clean and easy to use. The entire private enclosed patio was comfortable. Perfect to have a glass of wine and enjoy the peaceful afternoon. The amenities inside and out make this charming house very comfortable. The property is very secure, two locked gates for extra security.

Perfect stay!
The house was amazing. Great for if you have a dog. The attention to detail, such as a dog bowl was great. It was also so nice after a day at the beach to rinse off the dog in the outdoor shower. Not to mention one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in. I’ll definitely stay here again.
