Passable

Spacious room and bathroom for 4. The mattress of the double bed was very comfortable. Walking distance to the old entrance of the Salina. Restaurant was very good, although slow as others have commented. People in the restaurant were friendly. Spa was ok, we enjoyed it.

Two receptionists could be characterized as unfriendly. Booking was for 4, but the sofa-bed for the kids was not ready when we checked in, towels were also for 2 people only. This can happen. After a bit of hesitation from the receptionist's side and a bit of insisting from ours, we got extra towels and the sofa-bed was prepared; one pillow and one duvet were provided, while we have two kids. We again asked for one more duvet and, instead, we got an interrogation from the second receptionist on "why we didn't ask before", "the lady that prepares the rooms is not working at these hours", "how old are the kids" (meaning they could share the duvet?) etc. Bottom line: guests may request extra things at any time during their stay and the hotel should be able to provide them. Also, given there is an available spa, towels should be provided generously, as they get wet and cannot be used for both spa and shower. Another aspect I didn't appreciate was the air-conditioning. It was very hot outside and the temperature fixed by the reception was good/comfortable, but I personally prefer to be able to regulate the temperature to my taste, which may change when awake or asleep, with no need to ask the reception for this. This is of course a personal thing.

Great location & good hotel

The Hotel is pretty new, rooms size are decent, it is clean, breakfast area has a nice balcony with great view , buffet breakfast has plenty of choices of food. Staff is kind and helpful

Temperature in the room was a bit too cold when we arrive, but got sorted out with the help of 2 heaters provided by receptionist upon our request

Ease of getting a massage at the property

Stains on the walls, peeling wall paper. The property could be fantastic but because of low quality products or construction it makes the hotel feel old and outdated.

Great location, 10 min by walk to the salt mine, scilent plase,good food, the staff was very nice. Swimming pool and salt jakuzzy is also great especially if you stay with children.

It is not a 4 star hotel, as advertised

The staff were the highlight of the trip: helpful, polite, super nice. The room was very clean when we arrived and the hotel throughout seemed to be cleaned regularly and properly. Breakfast was also tasty and good value. The food in the on-site restaurant was tasty.

During our 2 day stay the room did not get cleaned. Also, we had to pay separately for everything SPA-related, and I mean every little thing had a separate fee: one for the indoor pool (3hrs access), one for the jacuzzi (1hr access) and another one for the sauna (1hr access). If you wanted to go to the pool for a swim in the morning and in the afternoon, you had to pay twice. If you’re going to brand yourself as a hotel & medical SPA, I would expect for the SPA services to be included in the price of the room, and to be able to use the pool anytime, even if that pushes the price upwards. Another thing I thought was ridiculous was the price of wine in the onsite restaurant: 40 lei a glass feels massively overpriced, when a bottle was 68 lei there and probably around 35 lei in a supermarket.

Pleasant experience, happy to recommend. Would surely choose again.

Good, quiet, clean location, close to Salina Turda, Food was amazing, staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful, willing to make our stay an enjoyable one.

Everything was good, indoor pool, hot salt bath tub was amazing. Massage treatment, rather basic, but acceptable.

- Restaurant food was very good, reasonably priced and the service was great. - Room was very clean - Spacious bathroom

Additional charges for use of pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Not just a flat fee but separate fees for each. Booking.com said this was inclusive, however the hotel informed us we would be charged. We've stayed in many hotels and have never been charged for use of hotel pool. We made our hotel choice based on the facilities and would have had massages on top but the charges soured it for us, which was a shame. It isn't a 4 star hotel, more like 3 star

Pretty clean, the breakfast is good and has plenty of variety.

The spa, pool, jacuzzi etc are paid. Although somewhere on Booking it says it's free, when you arrive you are greeted with a well prepared speech convincing you how the policies changed but the booking page hasn't updated yet. Parking, although included, it's up to chance. Many places are taken by people who don't stay at the hotel, and there is not alternative. Also, you park under some trees, your car gets messy. In my 4 day stay, the room was cleaned once

Good as it gets.

Including the breakfast in the price it was a bonus in choosing this location.

Swimming pool should not be charged separately. Adequate waiter training should be provided for new staff in the restaurant, going back and forward to the kitchen to get the right answers is not a professional and makes you lose your appetite. Furniture needs a bit of maintenance, wardrobe doors could not be fully opened , few bulbs missing or gone off in the bathrooms. Not being picky , over all the place is good. Still some space for improvement.
