Comfort in Catania!

On our arrival we were met at the property by the one of owners, who live at the property. Francesca is an excellent host, friendly and extremely helpful and full of advice on places to visit and eat at. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and is one half of their large first floor apartment (with its own private entrance) in a traditional building on a quiet street a minute’s walk from a main street. The apartment is large and quiet with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Parking in a secure garage nearby is a welcome bonus in this busy city. Breakfast is in a nearby café (voucher) but the apartment has its own kitchen if you choose to cater for yourself. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in these delightful Sicilian home and would recommend especially if you like to holiday independently.

Excelente en todo

Fantástico. Solo puedo decir que es recomendable al 100%. Empezar por Francesca que es súper amable. Por otro lado apartamento está súper bien situado en el centro de Catania, nos encantó el detalle del parking gratuito a 1 min del alojamiento, y también que nos incluyera un desayuno en una cafetería muy bonita también a 1 min andando.

Todo nos gustó.

Excellent apartment in the city centre!

Everything you need for a perfect stay in Catania. Located in the city centre, the apartment is fully equipped, clean and cosy. There is a terrace, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or have a drink after dinner. Coffee machine with capsules as compliment from the hosts. Also, a breakfast is provided in a caffe just across the street. Parking space in a parking lot nearby, which is highly appreciated to have in Catania. Francesca and Salvatore are amazing hosts!

Un piacevole soggiorno a Catania

Posizione perfetta in centro a Catania, colazione in una delle migliori pasticcerie, camera e bagno di generose dimensioni, proprietari accoglienti e disponibili. Il contesto dell'alloggio è un palazzo storico nel pieno centro di Catania quindi non aspettatevi una camera/bagno moderni, se non siete troppo pretenziosi a riguardo è la sistemazione perfetta per visitare in qualche giorno la città con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. La stazione centrale dei treni, per raggiungere le altre vicine località della Sicilia, è facilmente raggiungibile prendendo la metropolitana a piazza Stesicoro (1 euro a corsa). Venendo dall'aeroporto la fermata dell'alibus è praticamente a 50 metri dall'alloggio (fermata n.8 - giardini Villa Bellini)

Fantastic location, wonderful hosts, everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Check in was smooth. Breakfast was delicious and provided through the nearby bakery. So many wonderful sites were within a 10 or 20 minute walk. We enjoyed the market and restaurants nearby, and many bus routes on public transport was just across the road.

Piacevolissimo soggiorno

Appartamento spazioso ubicato in una via laterale di Via Etnea. Comodissimo per chi arriva dall'aeroporto con l'Alibus: Si scende alla fermata Villa Bellini e in 5 min si è in casa. L'accoglienza dei proprietari è stata molto calorosa, ci hanno dato molte informazioni che si sono rivelate ottime, soprattutto su dove mangiare. La casa è molto carina, con il letto comodo e la possibilità di utilizzare 2 tipi di cuscino, morbido o piu' consistente. E' dotata di aria condizionata e di un bagno ben attrezzato con doccia di buone dimensioni e idromassaggio, ma soprattutto il valore aggiunto per noi, è stata la massima tranquillità dell'appartamento, soprattutto di notte. Per quanto riguarda la colazione, avevamo un buono per farla in un'ottima pasticceria vicino a casa. In 10 min a piedi si raggiunge il Duomo, passeggiata piacevolissima guardando le vetrine dei negozi.. :) Per chi vuole andare in spiaggia, c'è un servizio di autobus "D" che dal Duomo porta a tutti i lidi. Noi siamo state al Lido America, molto tranquillo con un buon servizio self-service per niente caro. Insomma siamo state benissimo e ci torneremo al piu' presto.

Excellent place to stay. Very kind and helpful owner. Airport bus stop is very close to the apartment. Small grocery shop is just around the corner. Plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes, bakeries in neighbourhood. Apartment had everything we needed, spacious room, comfy bed, tv with netflix, AC, clean bathroom and kitchen with every utensils.

Amazing, welcoming hosts. Beautuful, comfortable and large appartment. The AC is quiet and powerful. Kitchen is full of appliances and it's in a separate room from the bedroom, so smells don't need to migrate to the bedroom. Shower is great - lots of hot water and good pressure

The matress was a bit sagging and on the softer side.

Unpleasant

The room arrangement is very old and bad smelling, in the photos looks clean but it isn’t at all. We booked for 2 nights only because it is minimum and we arrived late in the night at 11 and was the only option found with check in until 00.00. We were very tired and we stayed first night, but second day we left in the morning, we announced then but we didn’t get any money back. Even the breakfast wasn’t because in the Wednesday the bar is closed and they didn’t told us anything. Next day she told us that they will pay us back for the breakfast bought in town, but they didn’t… very unpleasant experience, with very unpleasant stay, the shower was very dirty and all looked uncomfortable to live in ☹️

Comfortable/Peaceful

We were greeted by our lovely hostess, who assisted us up to our apartment. Though the building was in a bustling area of the city, the unit was in the back, and was very quiet and tranquil.The unit was clean , spacious & had everything needed. There was a large, well equipped kitchen, washing machine & a large balcony where we could sit out & hang our clothes to dry. Breakfast was a short walk & we enjoyed our morning outings to enjoy the start of our day. We felt so comfortable & peaceful in our unit & left feeling refreshed.

Quiet place near city center

We travelled with 3 years old and wanted to stay in quiet place where we can sleep well. Well, this accomodation is perfect for this. It is quiet but still very close to the center. The hosts are very nice and help us with everything. Breakfast at local cafe was delicious and we are missing their perfect pastry since we left! Ciao Francesca, grazie mille <3

Very well located, very welcoming host, the parking spot was a big plus. Lovely breakfast in a bar very close (biggest croissants ever!). This is definitely the best place to book for Catania.

Construction area at the terrace/apartment directly besides at the same house. ... started at 7 in the morning,, but will be finished soon. Usually, it‘s a very quite place in the heart of the old town ☺️

What a fantastic stay! Salvatore and Francesca are amazing hosts, incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is great, the apartment very cosy and convenient, all at a fair price. Free parking is a big plus in a city with limited parking options. Great recommendations for day trips. We also liked the breakfast café. We hope to come back in the future.

From the first moment of arriving, we felt at home! Salvatore & Francesca are just amazing people. Humble, generous and kind. Our Appartment was just incredible!
