Bel posto ma non eccezionale

Carina la vista sul lago. Personale molto accogliente. Camere pulite. Parcheggio nella proprietà.

Non hanno il servizio di colazione ma solo alcuni prodotti in camera. Con soggiorno di due notti non riassettano la camera e non riforniscono i prodotti consumati. Le camere non sono insonorizzate e si sente tutto degli altri, gli altri sentono tutto di te. La camera al piano superiore si raggiunge solo con le faticose scale.

Sehr schöne Lage. (Lavena Ponte Tresa Markt und der See)

Wir waren im Dachboden vom Schloss. Das Zimmer war modern, klein aber fein. Kaffeemaschine Nespresso, Teekocher mit verschiede tee's und ein kleiner Kühlschrank.

Dieser Ort ist schöner im späten Frühling und Sommer.

I would definitely not recommend.

Location but very loud traffic

No air conditioning, it's hotter inside than outside. Mini windows face the sky. The ceiling of the room is moldy. The flock of birds on the roof certainly does not allow you to sleep. There is no reception, if you call and wait, they will come. Don't expect breakfast, even if it's paid. I would definitely not recommend.

Relaxing retreat on a small but quiet amazing lake

Nice location just in front of the little lake of Ghirla. Really quiet and fresh and this is really ok as the AC is not present. Rooms are really spacious and the pool across the street has a lovely view on the lake. The Trattoria at 150mt serves delicious meals.

To enter the gate with a big car can be tricky the first time if you come from the direction of Varese.

Superb

The park around the villa, the fantastic dinner at the restaurant and the swimming pool near the lake.

Swimming in the lake itself was only possible at the other side, but the swimming pool made up for that.

Good and bad sides

Fantastic location, charming century old villa, nice park around the villa. cleaning and room size and decoration. The great, great restaurant near the Villa “Trattoria del Lago” of the same owner.

The maintenance of the swimming pool was inappropriate. Water was not transparent and obviously not suitable for swimming. Double check the swimming pool conditions before booking. The bathroom was without shower curtains making very difficult having a shower without spreading water everywhere.

Great mansion

Great old mansion. Comfortable beds, good bathroom. We had a very big 2-room suite called the "junior suite", I wonder how a "senior suite" would look.... The breakfast is ok. There is a nice restaurant a few 100m down the road (south).

There is a very busy road between the hotel and the lake.

An old world charm

An old world charm. We were the only guests there for 1 night which added to the superb impression. We also liked the the friend of the owners Angelo who helped us to settle after initial disorganisation with the hosts. But then we were amply compensated by free breakfast and general friendly and helpful attitude. Ample parking with secure gates, good wifi. Would stay again.

It is separated from the lake by a rather noisy road, which doesnt bother you in the room itself but is noisy on the terrace.

The location, the view,, the classical-style villa.

The only reservation: the very busy road the which is dangerous to cross and walk along.

Our second stay there, because we liked it the first time!

Friendly host, nice rooms and a good restaurant nearby.

Entering and leaving through the gate at the busy road can be a bit challenging

Very good

beautiful location, perfect for a 1 night stop travelling through italy...the pool with view on the lake and the fact that one could use the kano was wonderful

it would have been nice to be able to have a drink ...an honesty bar or a similar concept is definitely advisable
