Nice for a few days get away

Nice spacious balcony apartment. Easy parking. Clean with all amenities required

Walkways were dark, uneven and had no handrails. Due to the nature of the sloping terrain it is very dangerous walking around the site at night and to and from the restaurant. there are lights but none are plugged in. The terrain is not paved and has large gravel which is not compacted. There are large 'drops' off the sides so no handrail to stop you falling if you stumbled. This does not suit anyone with mobility issues.

Location was 👍

Rooms were really old and run-down, also has a musty locked up smell in room.. Bathroom had no where for shower water to run making for the floor to be flooding everytime we showered..

Very nice- just a little inconvenient with no towels

The rooms were great- loved having a balcony in a beautiful spot.

Relaxing and enjoyable

So tranquil and peaceful Really relaxing GREAT FOOD, especially the big brekky with the yummiest baked beans at the cafe and the fish tacos at the restaurant 🌮

A lil dated with the tv type, no Netflix and some of the pillows were really flat and lifeless.

Exceptional

The Staff were amazing and accommodating. We were the Group (Family) of 15 and gave the Chef a bit of a workout on our 1st Breakfast Morning sitting without warning. The staff were amazing, for both Breakfast, Dinner and the Caretaker for our late check in arrival. Definitely will be coming back!

It was a nice place with great location and spacious room.

Spacious kitchen and living room for us to cook and play card games

I’m not sure where but the water was leaking in the bathroom. Every time someone finished taking the bath, there was water all over the floor.

We enjoyed the quiet and fresh air

The location was OK. The ability to travel to outer towns was easy. The quiet was good. The scenery of the trees was naturely beautiful.

The locassion on a hill and have to drive down steep paths, was not pleasant. The storm over night with tree's bending with the wind and rain making paths slippery

there was a bowling club and a pub next door and the property was very central to a few beaches

Our room was close to the hotel that was a bonus and very nice bar staff

I don't like a soft pillow and that's what we had to sleep on

pleasant with a good restaurant onsite.

The staff were nice and the rooms clean. also lots of greenery and nice surroundings. but the bistro was by far the highlight. very good food at a reasonable price and excellent service.

The tennis court was run down - the back tennis court not playable. our rooms were bare boned. our room was really far from the bbq facilities. which made it difficult.

We had a good rest which was why we were there and it was comfortable.

We brought our own breakfast.

No railings to get into the pool. No hairdryer to use. Bed just okay. Maybe should have a microwave.

A beautiful gem in a leafy garden

Avoca Beach hotel truly exceeded our expectations. We choose it based on the pricing, but it has so much more to offer. Not only was it a great value for money but the beautiful nature / garden was amazing, the new furniture in our villa was a pleasant bonus and we truly enjoyed the whole experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I world highly recommended this place for a family stay. Kids loves two pools. One pool was conveniently located right next to our villa. We loved the food at breakfast at the little caffe at the reception. The menu had so many exciting choices. We spent some time at the pub and listened to the live music on Friday night. It was fun!

Pub food was ok but nit the best. The whole put atmosphere was lovely though.

Beautiful location. Quick drive to the beach.

Room had a strong damp smell and needed a thorough airing. Main entrance is a bit of a blind spot.
