Best value for money!

The comfiest beds we have stayed in! A/C and fans were amazing for us Brits! Mosquito net was really handy in the jungle! Nice shared outside area. Food was incredible and home cooked Sri Lankan food made by the lovely hosts. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating. Organised a tuk tuk to Dambulla (to get us to Kandy!) They pointed us in the direction of a lake nearby with an amazing view of Sigiriya rock (with no other tourists, it was a highlight! The best stay of our entire month trip in Sri Lanka! Insane value for money. Book it!

A touch off the main strip (only like 5 min walk) but idk if that’s even a con. Host didn’t speak much english but was super accommodating and ready to listen.

I don't recommend this place

Nothing

Very bad communication staff. No support. On the first day I had no wifi (because they didn't give me the correct password), the electric shower didn't work, the socket in the room didn't work. There are other places with the same price and better, I don't recommend them!

Parfait

Famille très accueillante! Petit jus de fruit à l’arrivée :) Chambre tres propre , bien équipée, shampoing, gel douche, crème hydratante… sèche cheveux ! Eau chaude. Ventilateur de plafond au top. La literie est très confortable. Emplacement parfait, très calme et proche des sites randonnées, et restaurants… Petite terrasse devant la chambre très agréable. Petit déjeuner délicieux ! Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Mala experiencia. No recomiendo.

Ubicación.

Pues a diferencia de los comentarios que leí antes de reservar, mi experiencia fue muy pésima. El olor a algún tipo de ambientador de la habitación era muy fuerte y desagradable. Estaba bastante dejado, sucio, las sábanas de la cama junto las almohadas, eran de dudable limpieza (pelos púbicos). Las toallas también dejaban que desear... (No por viejas, sinó por poco limpias). En definitiva, no lo recomendaría. El agua no salía caliente, la luz se fue dos veces, los enchufes no funcionaban bien...

El mejor homestay en el que hemos estado en Sri Lanka

La habitación muy limpia. Tienes secador y amenities en el lavabo (que no lo he visto en ninguna homestay de Sri Lanka por ese precio). El desayuno super bueno y variado. El último día el dueño nos acercó a la parada del bus en tuktuk gratis.

Nada. Está un poco separado de la calle principal pero andando estás en 5 min y además tienes una tiendecita al lado del homestay.

Very nice, warm and clean home

They gave us welcome drink when we arrived. The room is very clean and bathroom as well. There were amenities of toothbrush, shampoo, body wash,,, Breakfast was also great! It is more valuable than the price. We are very happy to stay here.

The hot water worked well for the first time, but second time when we used it didn’t work.

Very comfortable and clean. Great location to visit Lion Rock and have a comfortable stay. Great friendly hosts. Restaurants close, on walking distance. Would go again!

Perfect accomodation

Wonderful place to stay in Sygiriya. The family is very hospitable, the room is clean, there is a patio where you can sit and relax. The breakfast is delicious. Would definitely recommend! Bus from Dambulla to Sigiriya costs 100 LKR and you can get off (earlier) at the intersection of the street of Lathika homes, so you don't have to walk back from the busstation in town to the guesthouse. We can recommend Kenoli restaurant in the same street, very good food!!

Lovely place in a great location with delicious breakfast!

Lovely room and property within walking distance to Sigiriya rock. There is a bus stop at the end of the road so it’s in a great location for getting about and there are nice food places on the same road as well. Hosts accommodated a later check in and kept our bags for us on the last day after check out. They were really helpful with local information including bus times and they organised a tuk tuk for us to go to Pidurangula rock. We had breakfast included and it was delicious! Would highly recommend staying for the breakfast alone!

Wi-Fi, water pressure and hot water came in and out a bit but it wasn’t a problem.

Highly recommended! Received welcome drink glasses. Appreciate it. The location is quiet and free. The room facilities are excellent. Bathrooms are clean. The staff is very friendly. The food obtained is delicious.

The room is full equipped with whatever you need. The mattress is thick and offers comfort A good breakfast is provided. Location is good and there is a nice terras in front of the room. Very kind host and a beautiful cat with a mustache

Clean rooms. Location is very close to stores and restaurants.

Room prices may be increased and with that extra money wifi can be made better and permanent during stay and AC can be free of charge and some utilities like kettle or refeigirator can be provided to rooms.

Heartwarming hospitality

Lathika and her husband are truly professional. She served a welcome drink after I arrived there. The couple are always keen to help you. I had to catch a bus to Kandy early in the morning and she prepared a boxed breakfast for me!

It might be a bit difficult to lock/unlock the door, but ask her husband to fix it. There are also puppies (not theirs) that like to play with you and steal your shoe(s). So put your shoes inside.

Best price and homestay

The room has everything you need and the surroundings are great. Location is good, near main road and some restaurants (5 min walking). They helped us with everything we needed, they arranged us a tuktuk to go to sigiriya and a safari to Kaudulla at fair prices. Breakfast was good. The price was unbeatable!

Lovely stay!

Lovely stay! Warm welcome with drinks, good location, we wanted to leave early get the 6.30 bus (which she told us about) and we coule have our breakfast at 05.45! Really great :) the airco is really good and a nice hot shower!
