Great location

Location was great

Access to the terrace was difficult - almost a ladder. The lack of air conditioning in hot weather made nights uncomfortable.

Superb

Amazing location. Great clean room. Check in process was easy and had great and easy communication with the staff. Narrow stairs were fun, and the roof top area had a great view.

Wasn't aware that there was a washer and dryer available in the bin room area, and would have utilised had we known.

Great spot steps from the centre but still quiet and well-appointed

Incredibly historic location and setting, but with modern fittings and amenities and lots of space for two couples!

The kitchen left a bit to be desired. We were able to make breakfast every day but only *just*. The stove was underpowered and pots/pans quite limited. But if you're only doing very light self-catering don't let this deter you! Oh, and the bells are insane in the morning, but that's no fault of the location, that's just Salzburg.

Excellent apartment in an exceptionally beautiful, historic part of central Salzburg

Beautiful historic building located on the Steingasse which was only less than 2 minutes walk from the river. Incredibly quiet spot despite being so close to town. Exceptionally clean and tidy with a lot of supporting information for everything you may need in and around the city.

very stylish, the apartment had everything you would need. Good location, felt safe and secure. The beautiful shower was a huge plus, felt very luxurious! comfortable bed. Sasha was extremely helpful when needed. I would love to stay again and would definitely recommend to everyone.

I loved everything but the one thing I would say is a larger towel would have been preferable.

Exceptional

Beutuful apartment in a very good location. Walking distance to city centre, good bus connections close by. Magnificent view and great addition with the roof terrace.

Stairs to the room are steep, very manageable walking up and down, but more difficult with luggage.

Enjoyed our Stay

Perfect Location, the street was quiet. Lovely view of the Hohensalzburg Fortress. Very clean room, was easy to cook a meal for the night in the provided kitchen. The refrigerator was clean and larger than a typical hotel mini fridge. It was nice to have an iron and ironing board available in the room. The chairs and bed were comfortable. The de'core and ambiance of the room was pleasant.

The shower head was not the best. It poured out instead of giving a nice steady spray. Marble floor in the washroom and toilet area was cold in the winter.

we loved Salzburg and the apartment!

great location. The manager was great, he was so easy to contact and gave advice as asked. he allowed us a late check out and we left our bags for the rest of the day. we were in the pop art apartment which was big enough for 2 adults and our baby. apartment was really clean and lovely decorated.

Not a negative, but you have to know the person you are staying with well, as the bathroom is within the living area so not a huge amount of privacy, but perfect for us.

Fantastic stay for 2 nights.

Great location. Easy to access with key codes. Beds are comfortable and enough space for all of us. No lift but this was communicated so didn't come as a surprise. Able to walk to dinner reservations with ease. Quiet and dark rooms. Very nice.

Cute boutique apartments in the heart of Salzburg.

Great little boutique apartments located in the heart of Salzburg. Great self check in process.

The TV was unable to be used for screen mirroring so when we were relaxing in the room we had to watch German channels. The room also smelt slightly damp when coming back home from exploring the town.

The location was fantastic. Stone Lodge was perfect for the holiday with 3 young kids.

There was very lottle storage. As travellers with 5 suitcases, there was barely enough room to store our jackets.

A unique apartment in a great location with a great view.

The view of the fortress from our room and the quiet street, easy to walk to town center.

Due to the massive rock as part of the room’s structure, and the rainy weather, the room was a bit musty.

Great location

I liked the location very much it's quite within 1 km from center and wonderful view from top floors apartment is big.

What I didn't like is only about the apartment we had, which was in top floor especially in the hot summer season. The ventilation is poor and it lack big or strong fans and because of this the apartment become so hot and uncomfortable. Finally one bathroom is not enough for 5 or 6 people in one apartment.

The location was amazing with roof terrace that has best views in Salzberg.

Inadequate facilities to deal with the 36 degrees heat. No air conditioning and 2 mobile fans provided were worthless as they couldn't cool a cat never mind a large apartment. Could easily provide stronger fans or plug in air conditioning units.

Superb

The location was perfect. The apartment was so clean, bed was comfortable. Instructions clear. Turned up early and staff allowed us in to the apartment. Lovely touch with the coffee and sweets.

Unable to dry the towels. Had to hang them on the curtain rail in an attempt to get them dry.

The interior was beautiful, especially the timber ceiling. The heated mirror keeps you warm after bath. The convenience of number lock does away with keys and key cards. The view from the roof top was pretty good.

Having a bidet spray would be good.

Excellent, would highly recommend staying at Apt Stone Lodge.

Location in old town was great, easy walking distance to Christmas Market, Museum etc. Took bus #10 to the airport, one bus and a 1 minute walk to bus stop. Communication, emailed, was easy and response to questions was immediate. Next door to 2 restaurants, Meiers, known for great steaks, Hofers know for traditional Austrian food, would recommend both. The combination of old and new and built into the side of the hill was a nice touch.

The only downside was the narrow stairwell and lower doorway to apartment . We knew about this prior to going and this would not discourage me from booking, just had to be careful not to bump head.
