Incredible views, and service. Atypical experience.

Beautiful estate, clean, incredible views. The place is really magical. Probably the next hotel view in all of rio.

Location is a little tricky.. best to go in and out during the day, and stay on the grounds at night.

Hotel lindíssimo, com vista de tirar o fôlego

Propriedade maravilhosa, com vista deslumbrante do Rio de Janeiro. Equipe muito acolhedora e educada, com funcionários extremamente atenciosos. Hotel autêntico e aconchegante (sentimos como se estivéssemos hospedados na casa de alguém). Restaurante charmoso com ótimas opções no menu do jantar. O café da manhã também é excelente e muito bem servido. Suíte espaçosa, com banheira e vista para o mar.

Ficamos hospedados apenas um dia para comemorar uma data especial. Nosso fim de tarde/noite correu bem, mas a manhã seguinte foi barulhenta e incômoda. O hotel fechou para um evento privado, então logo cedo começaram os preparativos. Muitas pessoas andando para lá e para cá na varanda, obras provisórias ao redor da piscina, golpes de martelo, som de parafusadeira elétrica etc. Os funcionários foram queridos e tentaram amenizar o transtorno. Fomos levados de carro para a piscina de outra casa dentro da propriedade, mas não tivemos a manhã tranquila que planejamos. O hotel deveria ter nos alertado do evento e dado a oportunidade de cancelar a reserva, que foi feita com semanas de antecedência.

it was amazing. great rooms and the staff was Very attentive.

The Wi-Fi could have been better. the location is a little isolated, but the amazing views make it worth it.

We spent our last night in Brazil in VST & it was everything and more. Amazing views, delicious food & wonderful

Spectacular view of Rio, even in the rain! We loved how private & peaceful the property & grounds are. The decor is stunning - lots of attention to detail!

fabulous last night in rio- excellent views and service.

it’s a beautiful location in a nice neighborhood and with stunning scenery. it’s very private and not busy and you feel like it’s a quiet retreat from the chaos of rio- the service on every level was fabulous. we would definitely recommend it and although we were one of only two couples there we felt very safe and comfortable.

the pool is a bit tired but everything else is amazing!

beautiful villa and wonderful oasis of calm, but tricky to get there

absolutely stunning estate at the top of a huge hill overlooking Río. beautiful grounds, beautiful villa, and really wonderful setting

the route to get there is complex, and once you are up at the property, it is difficult to head in and out given the time it takes for taxis or ubers to get through the gates. I was initially driving myself and had a very bad (and scary) time as Google maps routed me down a very dangerous street inadvertently - I would strongly encourage those coming from abroad or unfamiliar with Río to not even consider driving themselves, and think carefully about access to avoid being in uncomfortable situations. the hotel was great at advising me on safer routes and also helping me explain to ubers my preferences subsequently, but I wish I had known in advance if you are planning to be self contained and stay mostly within the property, or keep your movements to a minimum, I would highly recommend, but would really strongly encourage thinking twice about accessibility.

Maybe the best hotel in Rio

Definitely one of the best places to stay in Rio. Absolute privacy, we even cancelled our sightseeing plans and enjoy the place.

I loved the view, we could see the Cristo redentor, Pão de Açúcar, o estádio! Super quiet, very secluded, we felted we were the whole time like in or own house or like at our grandma’s house, one night we got to the hotel around 1am and it was so quiet and almost all the lights was off we felted just home! It was an amazing feeling! It was not a regular hotel, it was an Amazing “family house”! ❤️ The staffs was just so lovely, serving an amazing breakfast, always ready to help us with anything we needed! Thank you to Everton, Yasmin, Duarte, Vinicius for the amazing job

I wouldn’t say “I didn’t like” It’s just a tip that the hotel should keep a few vila Santa Teresa drivers 🚗 if in case the guests needs it! When rains it’s very hard to find a ride ( Uber, cab) to take to the top of Santa Teresa because it’s very slippery! But just a tip! ❤️ I miss Rio and this amazing hotel! For sure it’s in my first choice when I come back to Rio de Janeiro!

Excellent staff!

Staff is extremely welcoming and always available to help. They always made us feel welcomed, special, and pampered. I do not recall everyone’s names and would love to thank them here: Everton, Vinicius, Juan, and everyone else. The wireless internet is excellent, I was able to host a 2h video conference with over 30 participants with no problems.

It’s such a beautiful place, nice and clean and the spa is perfect as well! Also the food is delicious and not overpriced!

Just WOW

Its the perfect location to come down and have a relaxing time in Rio. The short distance to the beach by taxi ist very convenient and the peace and quiet up at the Villa is incredible. Service and hotel management is so welcoming and lovely you feel immediately at home. Breakfast is on point and what ever you like they make it possible. Looking forward to a view days in the city but will miss the view and relaxed location very much! Congratulations to this fabulous sanctuary!
