Just what we were looking for.

Privacy, no neighbours living close (for now at least, they are building another house on the property). Two bikes to use for free. When we arrived we were greeted with two welcome gifts, a fresh and delicious watermelon, and a bottle of red wine

Mosquitos during the night. Very loud and noisy bugs outside. I don't know what they are called, but there was usually one or two of them in the trees right outside the house. At a distance their sounds are okey but that close it can get quite annoying.

We stayed here last year and loved it, so we booked again this year . The host left us wine and fruit which was kind.

We were disappointed that they were building another house in the back garden.

beautiful, peaceful, special place

beautiful little house with spacious grounds with outdoor oven an bbq- quiet and lovely to hang out in away from town a little- but not to far to walk. lots of olive trees and bird song. cooking facilities are basic but enough for my son and I. Light and spacious and simple. great to open all the windows in the morning and have the light flood in and be able to sit at the table just outside. if you want to be away from the busyness I would say here is a great peaceful place..

nothing really. …perhaps the lighting could be a little better - one main light for main area so a bit gloomy for the cooking corner and the sofa if you wish to read at night.

Very cosy and nice if you want to be a little off the hustle!

Nice little house, very cosy for 2 people (and their children max.). For a longer stay it might be too small for e.g. 2 couples. Everything was clean and you have everthing you need: fridge, bath incl. shower and toilett, some dishes and stuff. You can sit outside on the terrace where you also find two ovens (one is a bbq) and a table to dine or take breakfast at (there is also a fairy light in the tree above the terrace which can be used in the evenings). Attached to the house is an olive tree garden which needs attention. That’s why sometimes a nice old lady (grandmother of the owner) comes by and waters the trees and flowers outside. There are even pomegranates and lemons growing in the garden which can be eaten. There are two bikes there and the beaches can be reached within a few minutes. You can also reach 2 taverns by foot within 5 minutes walk. All in all very nice if you want to get away from it all!

The house was just right for us as we like the rustic way of life.The oven and barbecue was great for cooking and the house was out the way..it does have parking and wifi and the bathroom was good .the town is about 30 min walk .

Fabulous little house close to town

Loved the little cottage, well equipped, good location, comfortable and very clean. Lovely to sit on the little terrace reading, looking out over the various fruit trees. Very handy to have the use of the bicycles, easy ride into town and to the closes tavern.

Communication with the owners/manager was close to non existing. No check inn instructions and basically left to your own devices.

Would not stay again

The property was very neat and clean and the garden and grounds were lovely. Also Mamma would call everyday to check we were Ok and she was just so kind. Even though her English was non existent we managed to communicate and she was very helpful

When we arrived there was no running water and this was the case for 4 days. We could not shower or flush the toilet. We were told that many people in Sissi had the same issue but when we checked this was not the case. As the issue occurred before our arrival we believe we should have been informed and given the opportunity to change and go somewhere else. This situation would not pass any Health & Safety regulations in the UK. In addition we were a little concerned at the safety in the sleeping area. As this was just a mezzanine landing the safety rail (balustrade) was only about 18 inches high and if anyone had tripped an fallen over the top they would have fallen onto a concrete floor below
