Bon accueil mais pas très confortable

Bonne ambiance dans l’auberge. Personnel accueillant et de bon conseil. Chambre individuelle avec une salle de bain propre et eau chaude.

Un peu loin du centre. Literie pas confortable. La chambre individuelle est chère pour la prestation.

Very dirty kitchen, sink full of food, dirty counters and tables. Bathroom could be cleaner as well : dirty sink, trash can always full. Dirty common space

No bikes

It has a nice space, dogs, kitchen and we had privacy

When I booked I sent them an email asking about bikes, they asked me to text them via WhatsApp. On Instagram says free bikes for hosts, the manager told me this was not available, just renting for $3. He even told me they had e-bikes 1 week before our trip. This was the main reason I booked this place and that's why I tried to make sure they had bikes. Well, there are no bikes, the front office lady told me they don't even rent so why lying? I liked the place but this was dissapointing, I might not stay again there

El personal no tuvo un trato amigable, las mascotas se comen la comida de los visitantes, el baño de la habitación tenía hongos en la ducha, las lámparas de las áreas comunes con telarañas, las colchonetas para aquellos que acampan están asquerosas, las puertas de la cocina y baños compartidos manchadas y sucias, la limpieza deja mucho que desear, porque aunque sea un hostal y no propiamente un hotel este aspecto es fundamental, allí se hospedan personas, no animales. Y de haber sabido que la app me permitía subir fotos en los comentarios sobre el lugar, hubiese tomado evidencia de todo lo que digo. Desde un principio se les notificó de la realización de un evento con la participación de más de 30 personas a lo que no hubo objeción, pero al momento de la reunión y de la nada, aparecen "reglas" del hostal que eran absurdas. Cobro abusivo, ya que le cobraron a una persona por pasar el tiempo en la terraza y también por tener el auto estacionado en el local. A otra persona no se le respetó su reserva y le alquilaron su cuarto. Lamentablemente no fue una buena experiencia y no volvería al lugar ni lo recomendaría.

Chille sfeer en mensen maar wel heel basic en je moet daar beetje van houden en tegen kunnen.

De sfeer was heel relaxed en er waren lieve hondjes, het personeel was ook aardig en wilde je graag helpen.

Het was even wennen want het is eigenlijk een veelste krappe kamer waar ze 12 bedden in hebben gepropt met een kleine douche en wc erbij. Je kan je backpack nergens echt goed kwijt en het was gewoon te veel eigenlijk. Bereid je voor op echt heel erg basic en kakkerlakken!

Total laut, dreckig und ungemütlich. Der Preis viel zu teuer!

Der Hostel Besitzer ist sehr nett und bemüht.

Es war sehr dreckig. Die Küche war absolut ekelhaft. Nachts war es sehr laut und sehr warm. Die Zimmer ähneln einem Verlies. Für diesen Preis viel zu teuer! Warmes Wasser gab es auch oft. Frühstückt kostet 3 Dollar für 2 Pancake. Man muss sein Teller selbst spülen und wegräumen obwohl man Frühstück bucht.

Venga con sus amigos si quiere PASAR un mal rato.

De verdad que Nada.

1. nunca me explicaron sus reglas y eso que fui a conversar con el administrador antes de hacer las reservaciones. reglas . como : cerrar el hostal a las 10 pm ( nadie entra, nadie sale) , 12 media noche toda la instalación se apaga la luz eléctrica no respetaron la reservación vía booking de un compañero dejándolo sin habitación a las 10 de la noche que llegó. Expulsaron a un compañero aduciendo un evento que jamás sucedió. Y la lista sigue de cosas que pasaron como cobrar El estacionamiento y cobrar por dormir a una misma persona . En total pagó 16 dólares cuando dormir en camping cuesta 9. Muy mal, nos hicieron sentir que no fuimos de su agrado y todo lo complicaban. Alejanse de este lugar. Ahhhhh y no descuide su comida que los perros del hostal se la van a comer.

La amabilidad del personal

Las camas camarotes se movían, les falta estabilidad, cada vez que alguien del otro camarote arriba se movía me despertaba porque su cama se movía igual De la nada había un gato en el cuarto que se subió a mi cama mientras estaba durmiendo Las almohadas eran muy bajitas y olían un poco mal Las sábanas estaban rotas El precio es solo $12 no podía esperar mucho pero por lo menos que las instalaciones estén en buen estado sería agradable.

large common area with pool table and bar, amazingly cute dogs, hammocks to chill

all the couches in the common area were filthy so that we didn’t wanna sit down, the kitchen was ill-equipped and dirty, the toilets were filthy, in general the floor was just not clean at all. The dorm gave off vibes of a prison in a third world dictatorship country, it was literally just old dirty concrete walls and floor and super old and filthy beds. there was one toilet for 12 people in there but the toilet seat was broken along its full length.

a friendly place in el valle

the place was extremely nice and comfortable. there are a lot of place to hang out the kitchen works fine and you have a lot of entertaining stuff and bikes free to be used possibility to put your own stuff in the fridge supermarket is at 2minutes walk you can arrive everywhere by foot or grabbing the bike

no air condition, just the fan. the rooms during the day get hot

Superb

The localisation, you can easily walk to the town center and they lend you bike for free. The overall atmosphere is great, really feels like a laid back hostel. The host was super friendly and helpful to find hikes around the hostel.

Squeaky, basic beds but definitely ok for the price you pay.

Great location

Great location. Easy walking to anything you would need. Had private room with full bathroom. Other guests friendly with nice vibe to property. Quite comfortable bed. Quiet at night.

Check in staff. Was shown to room but had to ask for a key as none was provided after being shown to room. Also had to quiz her for general information about the property and what they offered, where the fridges are, etc.

Superb

The ambience was really nice, very cool art and decoration, parking was extremely secure, short 5-10 minute walk to downtown, really friendly staff, great tips for local activities.

The room was super dark (walls painted black/dark gray) with only dim lighting and no outdoor window in the bedroom -- just a window to the social area. On our first night, music was loud until late (but they turned it off when asked). The room is attached to the social area, so you can hear other guests conversation just on the other side of the door.

I loved staying here and wish I could have stayed longer. The staff were SO helpful, the vibe was friendly and relaxed, communal spaces lovely and comfortable, and the free bikes were the cherry on top. Would absolutely stay again.

Great place to meet people.

Great assortment of fellow travellers. great location for hiking and only 5 - 10 minute walk into town. Good shops close by. The hostel takes on travel volunteers to help out. Having Anna from Germany there to advocate to the owners on our behalf was the detail that made our time there less stressful. It is a large property that has a lot of potential.

The owners turning up the music at 10 at night. Could not get away from the loud music even in the quiet area. Although the kitchen was well equipped it was not organised well and got very crowded. Owners did not seem interested in communicating with guests. Again, grateful for Anna who was only there for 2 weeks.... We ended up staying an extra 2 days because one of family members got heat stroke while hiking. I was grateful to have a very small private room, otherwise it would have been horrible. Heat stroke was no reflection of the hostel, just that it was not a good place to recuperate in.

Although we got a two bed room, and this was comfortable for the three of us, this felt a bit too rustic. A bit of TLC could do magic to this place!

Amazing Relax Place

Amazing location and the staff is super helpful to show you every hick to do around the place and also good recommendations in the other places of Panama! The share bike also with you to go around in the village And just the place is sooo chill and Comfy, I stay longer than planned overthere 😊

Superb

The hostel had a really nice atmosphere. Everyone was chatty and they have two lovely dogs who follow you into town and on hikes, and a lovely cat. Juan is really helpful, although he doesn't speak English. There are volunteers working at the hostel as well though. They clean all day, but the floor and walls are bare concrete, so it looks like it's dirty, even though it's thoroughly disinfected etc.

It could do with a bit of sprucing up. The room is very cramped with few places to put bags.

Best part of the adventure was meeting so many travelers from all over the world.

Hot water shower! Staff was knowledgeable about El Valle de Anton and had maps for the four major hikes surrounding the city. The bus from Panama City stopped and picked up directly in front of the hostel. Plenty of seating at large tables to meet other travelers enjoy your meal and share travel stories.

good location with a super market nearby lots of trees with space for camping tents and parking decent kitchen and ample space for refrigeration of food. two well behaved dogs that like to go for walks with the guests. a large tom cat that would sleep with me during afternoon naps, be careful not to let him kneed you because his claws are huge and he doesn’t retract them easily, shredded my merino wool shirt and my arm, all good he is a cool kitty. Great place to socialize and the staff are quite helpful.

Sweaty, neglected, uncomfortable

- good vibe - overview of acivities - alright location

Sufficient for simple bed, roof and bathroom, but you should also note this: - very small space in the dorms, crowded like sardines - sewage smell in common areas - no place tu put things next to your bed or even from the bag, just tiny lockers, everything else on the ground - no electric plugs, just one central pile of chargers in the common area - sweaty, sticky, dusty everywhere - cracked toilet seat, toulet didn't flush for a half day - dog and cat hair, they walk even to the dorms - loud ventilators, metal lockers and waterpipes, it wakes you up everytime enyone use them

Nice staff. We were there when the year changed, but quite calm and no big parties in the hostel. Chill place. Good bed, hot shower, cute dogs. Short walk to pueblo. Market and laundry near. Good place for hiking, many options!

Booking let me down.

I couldn't enjoy the hostel because according to the staff, rooms were overbooked by the website (Booking).

Due to the lack of rooms, we had to spent most of the day looking for a place to stay. It was a waste of time and money.
