Ideale Unterkunft auf dem Land für jemanden auf der Durchreise. Nette Gastgeberin.

Sehr nette Unterkunft in wunderschönen Umgebung. Zimmer ok. Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Frühstück etwas dürftig. Keine Früchte. Während Marokko in Früchten ertrinkt. Kein Müesli. Keine Cornflakes. Wenig Butter Brot. Nur ein kleiner eingepackter Käse. Kaffee so schwach dass man davon nicht wach wird. Warmes Wasser in der Dusche läuft kaum.

Tafraout una località molto suggestiva per i tour in moto

Premetto che è il secondo anno che ci torniamo, già questo indica che presso la struttura Kasbah Chez Amalya ci si trova bene. Struttura ben mantenuta, le camere sono disposte attorno alla piscina e sufficientemente grandi e godono di una bella vista sulle montanie addiacenti. Nelle calde serate è possibile pranzare nel giardino interno attorno alla piscina. Nella fascia oraria dalle ~12 alle 15 dal giardino è possibile osservare il famoso leone di Tafraut

Siamo rimasti ospiti della struttura diversi giorni, purtroppo l'acqua della piscina è rimasta sempre torbida nonostante gli forrzi per pulirla. Non ce la siamo sentiti di utilizzarla (un peccato!!). Magari un robot per la pulizia più moderno potrebbe risolvere questi problemi.

The stay was lovely, I would highly reccomend!

The location of this Auberge was astonishing, with a direct view of the beautiful Atlas Mountains of Morocco... it truly seemed to be in a movie seen. The hotel is basically an old castle, with a beautiful garden and a big refreshing pool! The rooms are clean and the place is an oasis of tranquility. Highly reccomended!

There was nothing to dislike, the location, the staff, the structure, were all 10/10!

We enjoyed our stay at Auberge Kasbah Chez Amaliya!

The auberge was very picturesque with rooms surrounding a lovely pool with great views of the mountains. Our room was very comfortable, we appreciated having a couch to sit on. The meals were very good and the staff were attentive and very friendly.

Location near the Ameln Valley for walking View of the mountains Pool and Berber tent by the pool. Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated Second time staying at this hotel because we liked it so much the first time .

Wonderful place to stay - highly recommend it.

This was a wonderful place to stay for a week's walking in the anti-atlas. A real oasis to return to after a hot day and swim in the pool. Lisbeth who runs the place is lovely, and happy to help with useful information about the area. The staff were friendly and kind. I really can't recommend this place highly enough.

Very good

Beautiful pool, location was right off the main road (but not noisy!), incredibley peaceful and a short drive into the main nearby town. The host and employees were all very helpful, let me leave me lactose free milk and food in their fridge - as well as gave us good suggestions for hikes, etc. We also ate there for dinner, and would highly recommend their food!

Beautiful stay at Chez Amaliya I highly recommend

The location is spectacular. There are hiking routes all around. The village of Tafraoute is lovely - authentic Anti Atlas Moroccan! The hotel is tastefully decorated, comfortable and with an amazing backdrop of mountains, against a beautiful pool and sun terrace.

It would have been nice to have more fruits and nuts with breakfast eg dates, almonds

I liked the fact, that even though we arrived late at night (unexpectedly), there was a person waiting for us outside and showing us to the parking lot. The hotel was nice, I enjoyed the view and the breakfast.

Unfortunately it happened to be a very cold day and raining, so we couldn't enjoy the swimming pool or breakfast outside. In one of the rooms the aircon helped to warm up a bit, but in another room it wasn't working properly, so it was quite cold to sleep.

Amazing oasis of a hotel with comfy rooms and incredible views . Highly recommend.

A gorgeous guest house with breath taking mountain views. Very peaceful. The rooms are set around the pool, so very easy access to nip and get things from the room. There are comfy loungers and umbrellas and a fun berber tent, so lots of places to chill. The outside views are incredible with ever changing light on the mountains . The breakfast was plentiful, with fresh orange juice and amazing fluffy pancakes. We had a very delicious dinner .. I would recommend the Chicken pastille.. a type of Chicken pie made of filo type pastry, chicken and local almonds...my husband said it was one of best things he had ever tasted ! The staff were delightful and helpful. The Dutch owner was also delightful, informative and helpful. We did a great walk around the Lion's head Mountain .. you drive to a little village behind the hotel and walk under the mountain first through Olive groves, then up , up up on the right of the face , stunning views from the top , then down into a gorge behind . The town of Tafroute is a great place to wander .

Excellent, peaceful, well run place. Value for money.

After a day of travelling through the mountains from Foum Zquid, arriving at Auberge Kasbah Chez Amaliya was a very pleasant surprise. It is very nicely located outside Tafraout. We had a wonderful view from our window on the mountains and a few nearby villages. We enjoyed good meals, chosen from a diverse menu, in the dining room. Our laundry was done within a day. The hotel is well run by a Dutch Moroccan couple with grace and warmth and a very helpful staff. It is very tastefully decorated, the rooms being arranged around a spacious inner courtyard with deck chairs and terrace tables and with a sizeable swimming pool, bougainvillea on the surrounding walls and mountains as a back drop. The rooms had comfortable beds. We only spent 2 nights but understood that there were longer term guests who used the place for hiking and walking in the surroundings. We felt a bit jealous of them when we left and hope to be back.

Transport is needed to get into Tafraout, the local market town, but one can easily get a car from the road.
