Amazing hospitality, clean, airy and spacious house

The location and a quality of the place. The house is in the rural area and yet, it is a big comfortable house.

The dry toilet was something to get use to but even that wasn’t a big deal.

True connection with nature and self

The property itself is a beautiful lodge nested in the rainforest on the edge of Tena. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I was able to do a walking yoga in the forest organized by the hotel and it was phenomenal! (Though I would recommend closed toed shoes and covered ankles.) We thoroughly enjoyed our vegetarian breakfast made at the lodge. Staff was also super flexible with our checkout time on late notice and we were so incredibly grateful. We will absolutely stay again when we return!

This was our fault: the bugs! You will obviously be in the rainforest so it’s important to keep lights off at night and windows/doors closed. We unfortunately left a light on and the bathroom window open which meant we had lots of rainforest friends to greet us after we left.

Majestic !

The Location was great, the views from the balcony are breathtaking. Benjamin and the staff were very hospitable and helped out with everything we needed, local information, organising trips etc everything was taken care of.

staff was friendly

room was dirty, dead insects everywhere, bathroom was very old and dirty, my boyfriend was sick and there was only a disgusting eco-toilet (was not clear on booking.com), accommodation does not look like the pictures at all, not possible to open a window only the sliding door without mosquito net, dinner was very bad, we left as early in the morning as possible, worst experience in Ecuador!

Exceptional

There are very few places in Ecuador where you can feel the atmosphere of a yoga center. The owners Wisdom forest are people who themselves have been practicing yoga for many years. Therefore, here you can completely immerse yourself in the world of nature and inner silence. The yoga center serves delicious vegetarian food. And in another family cafe across the road you could find incredibly tasty fish from local rivers. Sometimes the music from this cafe sounds too loud and not in harmony with the birds singing))

Beautiful, comfortable place to stay, very helpful in arranging local tours or guides.

I was surprised to find such a modern and well designed property. The vegetarian food was excellent. The location in the middle of a well forested area was perfect for my purposes. It is definitely a specialist facility and others who might not read through the details (no alcohol, no tv, no meat) might not be so happy.

I would have preferred to have a desk and chair in the room for writing or laptop. The room is plenty large enough to accomodate.

Exceptional

Such a tranquil place, loved the location, early morning yoga on the balcony, a real gem of a place to stay. Would recommend for anyone who wants to experience a genuine flavour of the Amazon forest with the most wonderful people. This is what traveling should be like everywhere. Beautiful!

An amazing place to be

Beautiful house and forest, the yoga sala at the top floor is amazing. The food is really tasty and healthy for a really good price. Very good and spiritual place to stay, with great energy and very kind and generous people.

Pleasant stay for regenerative and refreshing well being

This is a yoga lodge facility not a typical hotel !! Bhaga and the staff are a very good team. They made sure that i'm always comfortable which made me feel at home ! Not to forget to mention the delicious vegetarian breakfast included , the quiet relaxing connection to nature surrounding with a view , plus they offer a wide variety of activities available every morning from meditation to mantra chanting to bhakti yoga to start your day in harmony :)) also bhaga guided me through activities to do in nature around the accomodation like laguna azul , tourismo communities with local fresh restaurants !! It was a pleasant stay and refreshing for the well being , would recommended obviously :))
