Lots of missed potential

- The half day tour offered by a 3rd party provider was quite nice, although somewhat touristy and pricey - Staff was quite friendly - The surrounding nature is nice

- We got bitten by bedbugs - our accommodation was right next to a road which was very noisy during the night - No lunch was offered while no restaurants or shops are nearby obviously. Prepare accordingly. - The food / water / drinks were overpriced for Ecuador - the hotel obviously takes advantage of the situation that no shops are nearby - First day for half the day we didn’t have water nor internet - We expected to meet some other backpackers/ travellers there - nope, the whole place was empty

Que está a lado del río. La comida.

Que no estuvieron atentos a mi llegada, no tiene señaletica en español que indique por donde debes de ingresar al hotel, los telefonos y el mail de contacto nunca me contestaron, poca iluminación por los senderos del hotel lo cual me parece arriesgado por la ubicación de este (amazonía)

Excelente lugar

El contacto con la naturaleza, y la cercanía que hay a atractivos turísticos, las instalaciones estuvieron adecuadas para la estancia, la piscina estuvo excelente.

El acceso al lugar, muy incomodo para ingresar a recepción cuando mi esposa viajó sola con mis hijos, y me comento que tuvo que cargar las maletas hasta recepción, deberían colocar personal que ayude con esta tarea.

La habitaciòn muy buena, la atenciòn excelente y la comida muy rica.

Pienso que si bien tienen la promocion de gente que va por el dia por $10 eso quita espacio en la psicina u en el jacuzzi para huespedes, y las personas que estuvieron el domingo no eran educadas.

Ruido en la habitación, imposible descansar en esas condiciones.

la habitación tenía techo de zinc y con la lluvia era imposible dormir por el ruido. La limpieza de la piscina no estaba un nivel aceptable.

Great place for families, the pool was wonderful

Clean, friendly staff, helpful with transportation

Linens could have been cleaner, lots in stains and dirt on pillows and throw pillows

The facilities and the size and view of the room.

Breakfast awful, no liquid soap on our bathroom and at night all the trouble and noise we had to do to let them open the parking door, was terrible, becuase they didnt hear us.

Great experience overall

The staff was very kind, the breakfast was great, the view is wonderful and the feeling of being inside the jungle

The common kitchen doesnt have enough utilities to be able to cook, the jacuzzi wasnt working.

Just loved the atmosphere. Very nice

The best part was the staffs efforts to make our stay so comfortable, Dllilia, Judy, Darwin, Chino,joshway,Jessie all were amazing. The food prepared daily was sooo good . Excellent breakfast, hats off to the chef. The cleaning staff for rooms was supperb, rooms very clean.

Not much to complain about, in a jungle atmosphere it was very comfy would not hesitate recommending the Selina Tena Amazonia .

Beautiful location by the river.

The activities were very expensive and you need to be minimum 2… so I couldn’t do anything as a solo traveller.

it’s a nice property and Selina is a good travel community concept

the layout and setup is beautiful right by the riverside …

our room had no hot shower for our 4 nights , the hot tub wasn’t hot either. the property could use a little more care I thought. our room was right next to rapids and very loud at night. next time would pick a room a little away from the water ..

Beautifull grounds, cabins set in a virgin jungle setting. The small hike from the entrance give it a special touch and the gorgeous pool a resort like setting. The cabin was spacious en well decorated

The restaurant is overpriced and has a limited menu, five dollars for a club personal is more a 5 star hotel price. The included a la carte breakfast is a nice touch, but they take to long in taking the order, bring the plates and then still mess up the dish. A grumpy start of the day and over 1h to have breakfast is just to long. Sadly similar experiences for lunch n dinner. The staff overall is kind and helpful but some ( apparent interns) are lost in basic service and what one might need, and act so slowly. The general WhatsApp group with staff n guest is a nice touch, though I recommend that it's used also to comunicate timely the days Hostal activities. Parking lot is cramped and a little help with the luggage on the short jungle trail entrance would have been appreciated.

Very good

The location just by River Napo is amazing, sleeping to the background sound of the river is so relaxing. Kind staff, very good breakfast with fresh fruits.

While we enjoyed our stay, there is just a few things missing that could easily increase the overall comfort, such as a plug in the room, some lighting by the swimming pool, a bit more space to store perosnal items in the room. Only cold water but this is somehow normal given the location.
