Feel home place

Außerordentlich guter Service und sehr herzliche Gastgeber

Die Unterkunft liegt ganz in der Nähe des Flughafens und Perera, der Besitzer, hat mich in der Nacht vom Flughafen geholt. Der Service ist außerordentlich gut! Sehr hilfreich für den Einstieg in das Land war für mich, dass er fließend deutsch spricht. Der ATM bei einer Bank in der Nähe hat meine Kreditkarte geschluckt und Perera hat mich in jedem Detail unterstützt, die Karte schnellstmöglich wieder zurück zu bekommen. Das Frühstück war extrem gut - ich konnte wählen zwischen europäisch und einheimisch und habe mich 3x für das singhalesische Frühstück entschieden. Das Zimmer ist so groß, dass ich in ruhe meine Yoga Praxis machen konnte.

Ok to stay if everywhere full, but better to stay closer to main street.

Room was big, AC good, hot water ok, nice owner

Too far from food places, so you better eat before you come here! It said airport shuttle was free, but it was $8 per trip in a small vehicle. We had to pay for two trips…

Great for before/after flight

The house is charming and quite, despite being very close to the airport (about 10 min). The breakfast was amazing! The owner/manager is extremely helpful. He helped us find a driver to take us to Tangalle, and we ended up getting a ride with the driver for almost the entire trip! We are very grateful for all the help we got which certainly made our trip much easier and better.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable. We wished there was a bedsheet to cover at night to sleep comfortably with the AC. I'm sure they would have provided it for us if asked, but we arrived past 1 am and didn't want to bother them anymore. We also couldn't figure out how to get hot water in the shower! It was probably a user error, and I'm sure they would have helped us if we had asked, but, again, it was past 1 am and we didn't want to bother.

Simple and effective

Friendly host and a convenient location for airport proximity. Bottled water provided. Rooms are large and beds comfortable. Everything you need for a short stay. Airport transfer USD6 makes things easy.

Breakfast good Sri Lankan but a bit expensive at USD8 pp. Planes can fly very close and loudly. Neighbour likes hammering at 7am.

Mr.Perera and his wife were very helpful and hospitality. There are anything you need for stay: big room, a/c, hot water, wifi, breakfast. We were use a transfer from the airport(5$), and then had a transfer to the Pinawala. There are nearby food store with alcohol, store with Sim-card and place where you can eat. we 'll come here again.

The host is great, the room was big and clean. Nothing to complain about. In the first day the owner advised us to take the bus from Kadawatha because it will be faster by going to Highway to Matara and will have CA. It is excellent to stay here in the first or Last day in Sri Lanka.

Great stay with lovely host near the airport.

The location is very close to the airport, we spent our first night here. The owner is extremely kind and friendly, we enjoyed his company quite much. He helped us with everything we needed - their neighbor took us from the airport as our surfboards didn't fit the owner's car, but it was arranged quickly and easily. :) The great breakfast on the balcony was an amazing start for our vacation, with beautiful surroundings and generous portion of delicious food. The bathroom, even though not opening from our room straight, was just a door and two steps away, also nice and clean.

We were rejected from our flight that was at 2am and had to spend a night at the airport - a tiring experience. The owner let us check in at 8am and made lunch after, and helped us exchange money. It meant so much to have someone so friendly after spending a night at the airport. Rooms are big and clean with beautiful garden.

Perfect stay close to the airport. Perera is an angel :)

this place was a boon for us. we were looking for a place to crash right after a late night flight. The room was spotless clean and the bathroom was one of the most beautiful I’ve seen recently. Perera helped us all throughout, picking us up from the airport, making amazing breakfast(omelette, tea of choice and cut fruits) in the morning, and helping us with money exchange.

Everything was perfect. The house itself is beautiful and is just far enough from the main road to be quiet and peaceful during the night. The room is very spacious, comfortable and was perfect after a long day of travelling. The host picked us up at the airport and helped us out arranging our onward travels and was more than helpful showing us where to find ATM:s and restaurants. Also breakfast was great and could even be made vegan as long as you let them know in advance. Will definitely recommend and come again :)
