Had a really good time in large comfortable flat with big terraces and amazing views.

A lovely penthouse flat

The WiFi didn’t work. I don’t think it was switched on.

An apartment without wifi and TV signal

The apartment is big and heating system is good enough for freezing cold weather. It’s near a metro station. The rent is cheap.

Zero support from the host. We have sent the message to the host about our arrival time well before the trip. However, our train has delayed for 45 mins on the first day, which passed the check-in time .i.e. 8 pm. When we were contacting the host about the collection of the key, she didn’t answer our calls and messages at all. The host’s staff replied very slowly and claimed that she would call us ‘very soon’ but we didn’t receive her calls at all. And then the staff suddenly said that the host was angry because of the delay. I reckon we’d risk staying on the street under -2C on the first night of the trip if I didn’t send the official website of the delayed train company to the staff via booking.com messenger. In addition, there’s no wifi connection and no TV signal, which was different from the description of the apartment in booking.com such as free Wifi. The light in the bedroom was quite dim and there’re lack of kitchen equipment.

I will not recommend this place for people, who want to spend more than 4 days in Cologne.

Rooms were clean and large. No problems with WiFi. Washing machine, cooker and most of kitchen furniture worked well. Nice location and good access to public transport.

Unfortunately, the fridge was completely broken from the very beginning. In addition to that, owners did nothing to improve the situation. In the beginning they tried to answer via e-mail that they will fix it in few days, but later they just stopped to react on anything - even on the phone calls. It is hard to imagine even worse service than you may find here.

Location

WiFi doesn't work , stable Internet is important for our work. I think I used all my roaming data up from my mobile phone 😠 Heating was off . Was cold I mentioned this to the owner but nothing was done!
