overall served our purpose of a base to check out cologne.

Nice and close to the station for easy arrival. Only two streets back from the river in the old town. Right amongst the activity and sights. Lots of attractions within short walking distance.

It got very noisy at night with the bars downstairs music, but we were right in the old town, so expected that. Bare kitchen, no dish washing liquid, or even one tea bag/coffee. Was up on the top floor, 4 flights of stairs which might be difficult for some - it wasn't for us. TV in German, one us news station, which was OK we weren't there to watch TV! some blinds didn't work so in the early morning summer sun was waking us all up at 4am!!

It did the job and is very central, but in February, this place isn't warm enough for comfort.

Central location, quirky interior, lots of space.

Apartment was very cold, no kitchen facilities.

Comfortable beds, very spacious, decent heating

floorboard cracks easily and was very loud - one of us found an insect crawling under their pillow (windows weren’t opened beforehand), the boiler or heating system is very loud

We were very cold all night. it has a musty smell. the owners are very friendly. The house needs a nice cleaning and needs insulation. extremely cold and dirty.

Friendly host and great location to city sights and Christmas markets.

Furnishings are basic but fine for a short stay. We were there on a Wednesday and had no problems with noise but this could be an issue on the weekend when restaurants and bars are busier.

Wonderful place to stay in city center, simple but comfortable apartment, very helpful hosts

Good location. The 24/7 check-in saves the day if you are aiming for a late check-out.

There are very few positives. The place has old furniture, it wasn't clean, and the bathroom has mold. Everything in the kitchen is old; the utensils are incomplete.

Great location in the centre of the old town. We were there Sunday to Thursday so it want too loud or busy during our stay which suited us perfectly.

Great stay in a great location. Welcoming staff and fun brewery below!

The location was perfect! We were in town with family and it was easy to get around and the rooms were very large. We were able to sleep with two toddlers in the room with us, which can be a challenge.

We brought sound machines, or else it may have been a little loud if you are with small kids. We didn't mind it though!

Exceptional

The location and the facility itself were amazing and a great value for the money. Now saying this it was a little loud outside on Friday and Saturday night, however that is because of the excellent location to all the social pubs and restaurants. so please be aware there is a trade off...but its well worth it..highly recommended and will defiantly be back

Excellent location, nice apartment!

Excellent location. Very much bang for the buck.

If you want to have the windows open during the night you need to know that you are in a busy area with a nightclub across the street.
