Venice apartment

Location and number of beds. Loved the fans in each room to go with the A/C. Easy to get to all of the beautiful places in Venice.

Despite heat, location and quality of unit make it an excellent choice.

Location was wonderful. Authenticity. Quiet. Spacious.

Very warm. Current heat wave made it very challenging to achieve comfort for sleep. Air con handles common room well but being on 4th floor with current heat, it was not up to the job for sleeping rooms.

A delightful retreat in magical Venice

Beautifully appointed and charming property. Caterina is responsive to any questions you may have and there are guide books and reading material in the apartment. It is clear the owners have put a lot of love and considered thought into the property. Views to beautiful old buildings, and greenery in the next door park. Super close to Vaparetto stop, which allows for easy access to the sites of Venice. An easy stroll to several, lovely places to eat. There is an air conditioner that provides welcomed relief on a sunshiny day! There is a park next door and the water is a stone’s throw away. You can hear the birds and enjoy seeing the local dogs enjoying strolls with their people.

We loved everything about this property! Lesson learned by our little touring party - please do not make the same mistake we made by overpacking! There are several stairs to negotiate, as is the case in many of the gorgeous buildings in Venice (no criticism of the property!) 😊

The property was perfect for our stay. We liked the location and had an amazing few days exploring Venice.

The location was quiet and very close to the water bus for day trips into the centre of Venice and all other locations. Local shops and restaurants are very close too.

It is on the third floor.

Perfect, cosy and original. In a quiet neighbourhood, full of greenery and very well connected.

Everything. Every detail is thought from the heart. A very comfortable flat with delicious beds to rest. Very bright, cosy and perfectly clean. My nephew spent his time happily playing with all the books and toys. The neighbourhood and surroundings are beautiful, with lots of greenery and parks for children. The location is perfect for those of us who like peace and quiet. Very well connected with the vaporetto only 10 minutes from the centre or even walking along the seafront in only 20 minutes. In addition to everything you have coffee and all the necessary implements for cooking. I would definitely come back on my next visit to beautiful Venice.

Exceptional

Large bedrooms. We all slept really well. Very clean. Great for water bus, shops and restaurants. Fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer etc.

Venice would have been less spectacular without Casa Mongolfiere.

The place is so easy to find! The views are everything I would never want to stay anywhere else in venice! The public transport boat is right on your door step…. We got off our train at Santa Lucia walked less than 100m to our line 4.1 and got off less than 100m from the accommodation. The garden is beautiful the ocean view is amazing! The bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen has enough space. The bedding is Amazing, the kitchen well equipped and we just loved the space so much we slept in every morning! Venice would have been less spectacular without Casa Mongolfiere

Perfect stay!

All in all we had the most perfect stay. The apartment is absolutely lovely. The host very helpful and the location is actually super central. If we come back to Venice, Weinviertel where to stay :)

It was enjoyable, clean and pretty

I liked the atmosphere of the neighborhood and the house itself It was clean and it was super close to the aquabus station

It could have been nice to know there's no elevator. We had huge suit cases and it was hard for us to bring them to the 4th floor

geolocation is needed to be added to the info, it is quite difficult to find an app based on directions from Giardini vaporetto stop. not sure if it is guests’ responsibility to take care of garbage disposal.

It was beautifully furnished and in a perfect position in a quiet neighbourhood. The owners communication was excellent and we felt right at home.

A perfect place to enjoy Venezia! Big rooms and perfect locations!

The location is very good, you are 1 minute from the "beach" away. 30 minutes downtown Venezia. And a park nearby. Supermarket is near. Bars are near. And the rooms were really cosy and big! 10/10 for casa Mongolfiere

A wonderful calm and romantic spot in Venice

Casa Mongolfiere is in a beautiful calm corner of Venice, with a view on a square on one side and the famous Giardini and the waterfront on the other side. The nearby Via Garibaldi has great spots to drink and eat such as the much celebrated Nervodi. Casa Mongolfiere is not in the epicenter of touristic attractions but this might be exactly what you want in a city so densely visited. It is about ten to fifteen minutes walk to canal grande and other highlights or two stops away with the public boat service.
