Emanuela was very helpful with directions before arrival and Andrea met us at the Vaporetto stop to take us to the property which would be quite difficult to find. He carried our bags up to 3rd floor. The apartment is very spacious and clean. The towels provided were very soft.
The location was good close to the lively square of San Stefano but you had to reach the property down a long dark very quiet alley which was not pleasant.
There was no electric kettle in the property for making tea - instead there was an enamel kettle and an induction hob which was very slow and to boil enough water for 2 mugs of tea or coffee took 30 minutes which is not really acceptable as it wastes so much time especially when you get up in the morning, we asked if they could provide an electric kettle as it was really frustrating and not up to modern hospitality standards but unfortunately the hosts sent a barrage of accusatory messages saying we could not be operating the hob properly which was quite insulting as we had tried all the rings and on max setting but could not get boiling water in the 3 minutes they claimed it took. It really is very stressful when the hosts react so badly so as to upset you as a guest. They did not attend the property again and Andrea had not demonstrated the operation of the hob.
My sheets were cotton but my friend had 100% polyester which were uncomfortable
Would not recommend solo women to stay there as the location is down a very quiet long dark alley and one night we were followed down by a man who stood and stared at us as we fumbled for the keys, quite unnerving!

The apartment was in a great location, it was a close walk to the Rialto Bridge and San Marco square but in a quieter area which was ideal for sleeping. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was very clean, and we enjoyed sitting out on the terrace. Andrea was very friendly and helpful.
The shower pressure could've been a bit stronger and the apartment could've been a bit better stocked. Other than that, it was great.

Ca’ degli Oresi is the best place to spend time in Italy. Andrea was very helpful and not only explained us everything connected with accomodation but also gave us a lot of advices when it comes to Venice: food, events, groceries, water trams.
My mom and I really enjoyed staying there. We felt like at home. It must be said that our apartment was very cosy and has a lot of facilities for example: washing machine, iron, full kitchen, AC.
We would love to come back to this place again. I hope Ca’ degli Oresi will never change its attitude to its clients, because right now it is excellent. Grazie!

Location was excellent without being in the tourist part of town. Outdoor patio was fantastic. A/C worked and was comfortable.
Had to walk up the steps. Owner helped us with the luggage, but that really is the only negative about the place.

The location was excellent and in the San Marco area. There is a local square at the end of the narrow street. There are two water taxi stops very close by and both go to the Lido. The appartment has two bathrooms, aircon and a balcony. Its a very very quiet plave given its location. The owner met us from the water taxi and showed us around the area on the way tot he appartment. There is a small deli supermarket next door and an ice cream parlour and boutiqu shops and restaurants. It has everything, even metal shutters for an excellent night's sleep.

Very good location very close to the Ponte dell'Academia on a quiet courtyard. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a very nice and quite large roof terrace. There is even a second roof terrace accessible from the staircase. Modern kitchen equipment, which we were happy to use. Very good Wi-Fi.

The location was perfect, within walking distance to everything and so near the water taxi. Silvia met us at the water taxi and brought us to the apartment which was so helpful and Frederico checked us out and carried down our cases the 62 steps. we had a lovely experience with the entire family, the personal touch meant a lot to us. kind regards.

Andrea and his family were the most amazing hosts. The apartment is off the beaten track yet in the middle of the hustle and bustle. will forever remain our first choice to stay in when in Venice.

The property located near San Samuele and 12min walk to San macro square, very cosy and very spaces bed and living room, comfortable bed and lovely kitchen. will definitely recommend to friends and family for this property

A lovely bright apartment with all facilities that I needed. As I was there for a week I appreciated the good cooking facilities and the washing machine. Lovely terrace too.
As my flight had been delayed and I arrived in the dark I really appreciated Andrea meeting me at the vaporetto stop.
The main concern was the main electric fuse tripping three times during my stay. The first time there were only a few lights on so I definitely hadn't overloaded the system. This indicates a problem with the electricity system. The presence of instructions on how to reset the system shows that this is a regular problem. As someone with many years experience in fire safety, the assurances from the host that the building is recently refurbished were not enough. Fires happen in new and old buildings and one of the functions of fuses is to warn of problems. As a minimum the apartment needs some smoke alarms.

The room is very nice and clean and updated. Very well located a short walk from the Basilica di San Marco and the Doge's palace and other attractions.
The are lots of good places to eat nearby as well as groceries (alimentari) to stock the kitchen.

This is a brilliant apartment. The hosts were extremely helpful, both with information before we arrived and with tips for the local area when they met us at the apartment. It’s a central location close to the Grand Canal, with many shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The apartment was extremely well appointed, with great facilities, including a lovely terrace, comfortable beds and an excellent standard of cleanliness. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

The hosts were great, Andrea met us at the taxi boat to hand over the keys and was so helpful! Recommended places to eat and helped with any questions we had throughout our full stay, the apartment was lovely and clean, in great central location. Would definitely recommend and stay again! 😊

The rooftop terrace was the main highlight of the stay! Incredible 360 views of the San Marco neighbourhood.
Air conditioning was very good and the apartment very comfortable.
Maybe an umbrella for the sun would be nice in the rooftop, to be able to enjoy it more in the heat of the summer.

This unit was very updated and the finishes were very nice. The bathroom was excellent with a nice rainfall shower head as well as a detachable hand held one. We also took advantage of the in room washer to launder clothes as we were on an extended trip. The small kitchen has most everything you would need to make a simple meal. Host provided coffee and some breakfast items already which was nice. The air conditioning in the unit is from a mini split system and kept the unit extremely cool which was a welcoming touch. The bed was comfortable to sleep on and even had little reading lights if you had a book to read in bed. There was good storage for your clothes in the bedroom as well. Another positive we found was a few English channels that play some older TV shows/movies on channel 22 and 27. The location was good. Close enough to the main sights but not too close to where you walk out the door and have to elbow people out of the way! Saving the best for last--the rooftop! Though it was shared with some students who lived in the building according to the host, we did not see anyone up there during our stay. It was so quiet on the rooftop, hearing the bells of the churches ring, the roofs of the city, the sun setting and the moon rising was priceless.
The unit was located up 61 steps with no elevator. The rooftop was up another 20-30 steps. Also, the power went out during our stay and had to go down to the ground floor to reset the breaker, which was a quick fix. There was also some construction going on outside the building. They weren't noisy early in the morning or late but one day when we slept in the noise was noticeable.

The apartment was in an excellent location, and had everything needed. Spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts were also very nice and helpful too.

Our host - Andrea treated us very well. The apartment was maintained very well with all the modern amenities. Clean and comfortable. Overall, excellent stay.
In my case, i had parents with me who had mobility issues, so walking up and down the stairs was bit of a letdown but as i understood lifts/elevators are not so common in Venice so cannot complain :)

Location and views were incredible from the roof top patio area

The flat is located in the center of the city yet in an alley apart from touristic turmoil. Nevertheless, restaurants, cafes, shops and stops for vaporettos are in very close distance. Also hotspots like Academia bridge or St. Mark's square can be reaches easily by foot. Upon arrival at the stop San Samuele a family member picked us up guiding us to the flat and explaining everything needed to enjoy a relaxed stay. Thanks again for everything.

We went here for our anniversary weekend and the property did not disappoint! Excellent location in such a quiet and beautiful part of San Marco, with walking distance to everything we needed and wanted to see. A great roof terrace where we had our breakfast every morning with a view over the city. Would come back without hesitation!
Only negative thing we can think of must be the beds being slightly too short for my boyfriend 😂
