Perfect place for a surf retreat

It is a nice place in a countryside with farms and nature around. It is relatively close to the station and the beach. There is a Lawson around the corner. The host is very friendly and generous. Good prices on rental and some things are given for free. Good value for the money you pay.

Walls are thin so if you have a midnight chatters you will hear all the details of their conversation

Very happy with the overall experience.

Great place to stay for surfing - can rent board, wetsuit and bike. Very friendly owner, very relaxing environment.

Dorm room was a little cramped but fine for a short stay!

とにかく安いのでお得感ある。また来年利用しても良い。

最初は思ったより狭く建物が古くてゲゲって思ったけど、それに慣れてくると以外と気楽で自由な感じで、男の秘密基地みたいな雰囲気で、共同スペースの居心地が良く、キッチンを自由に使え、料理器具もあり、冷蔵庫が大きく、レンジや湯沸かし器もあったので素泊まりでも持ち込んだ食材やコンビニで買った物で以外と満たされる食事ができた。ドライヤー、シャンプー、ボディシャンプー、髭剃り、歯ブラシが自由に使えるので持ち込みは不要。トイレも清潔だった。サーファーの方が多く、朝と夜の生活リズムがトライアスイリートと似ていて、ストレスなし。夜も静かで騒ぐような人はいなかった。最寄のコンビニ（ローソン）、ラーメン屋（定食もある）まで２００～３００ｍくらいで便利。知り合ったサーファーの方はほぼ毎週来ていると言っていたから、感性が合えば常連になるのだと思う。

2泊したが、1日目のシャワー、水温が上がらずお湯にならなかった。２日目は普通に温かいお湯が普通に出て来たからたまたまだったのだと思う。海岸線までは1ｋｍくらいあるのがちょっと不便かも、、、宿の前に自転車が沢山あったが、サーファーの方はそれを利用して（ボードを取り付けられるみたい）で海に行ってたが、無料なのかどうかは確認しなかった。（軽のワゴンが1日4000円で借りられるみたい。）

Cosy, quiet with a helpful owner

Cosy, quiet hostel just a short walk from the train station. This was a good base for me to explore the coast line when the surf conditions were not good in Toromi. Owner was helpful with suggesting surf spots. The hostel has a good kitchen and plenty of storage for baords and suits outside

It's a long walk to the beach but the hostel does offer bikes with board carrier. The locker is a little awkwardly placed by your head at the top of the bed. Other that that I thought the place was cool

They helped me make a booking for a surf lesson the next day. Were very gracious with extras and had handy facilities like an outdoor shower for wetsuits.

Some of the other guests were loud, namely one kid who kept stomping. The indoor showers could use a scrub, too.

perfect surf hostel

all facilities a surfer needs: extra outside shower, bike rental with surf rack, surf and wetsuit rental, good vibe. owner speaks english really well and goes out of his way to help you.

Surfer's Paradise near Ichinomiya

Friendly owner always care of guests. Quiet except weekends. Shower and toilets spaces are efficient and functional. Compact but functional kitchen.

Parking space is quite narrow. only 3 car spaces available in front of the guesthouse. Another parking lot is 100 meter away and still not so big. The personal locker is so small that I always had to carry my bag.

super kind and friendly owner is in there. efficient property to staying for surfing. you can entry shower room from back so that you don’t have to care about floor not to wet. kitchen and common use space is good to chill out I liked it.

only 2 car park’s beside hostel. but there’s another car park you can park for free but you gotta walk for a few minutes not too long tho

Great experience for the value, very welcoming!

The staff in the location were amazing, he was very helpful when asking about the surroundings or my personal interest in trying fishing in the area, not only he told us where to go but he also offered us to use a rail or a rod he had in case we were not prepared for the fishing endeavour, also gave us information about surfing (since the area is actually famous for it) as well as prices for renting equipment if we wanted to try it. At arrival, he will show you the property as well as the wifi password so you will feel very comfortable from the getgo

Had nothing to do with the property itself, the issue we had was that some of the guests were a little noisy past midnight even though lights out is 11 pm, they were rather on the young spectrum of adulthood but none of it was due to the facilities.
