Bathroom NOT in the room.

The view

The bathroom is not in the room. Carful "private" bathroom means down the hall. Out of town. The staff recommended a taxi for security reasons. Dogs barking All the time.

Nilsa is a star! She was going out of her way to make sure I enjoy my stay in Mindelo, providing details and contacts even before my arrival. The rooms are nicely decorated.

A/C or mosquito nets would have been nice. The room was very small and so was the bathroom - unfortunately I had over-read the fact that the bathroom was located outside of the room which was a bit inconvenient and was not that clean.

Cold shower

The staff was really friendly

No hot shower only the last day of our stay! After complaining about it for 2 days to the owner. He finally decided to put the thermostat on hot. Also the location is not that central, and you still have to take a taxi if you want to go out at night, for your own safety. Wouldn't recommend this stay.

Sleepless night

Last minute booking was possible

Gabriela was not friendly, she seemed in a rush and we did not feel welcomed. We did not know the bathroom (which was very small) was not inside our room but on the hallway. During the night we did not sleep anything because the alarm went off every 30 minutes! We also paid for a continental breakfast + requested a vegan breakfast, yet we only got a piece of bread and an apple. We would not recommend this stay at all, even though the house itself was nice.

Seven night stay in São Vicente

Lovely property in very convenient location in walking distance to the marina, port and Laghinia Beach. I felt very secure inside of the home. Breakfast was very filling each day. Staff was super friendly!

I didn’t realize the bathroom would be down the hall and not in the room. I was the only person staying at the time, but it was a bit of an inconvenience. The property was otherwise fine!

Relaxing last days in Cabo Verde

We liked the house, sitting outside on the nice seats on the terrace. We enjoyed the breakfast (although it was a bit sweet). The room was comfortable and clean. The house is only a few streets away from the centre. So, no problem to walk to a restaurant in the evening.

As a guest you are treated like you are in a hotel, in a correct way, but impersonal, distant. It was a bit difficult to communicate with the lady (who prepares the breakfast). Beds are good but didn't sleep well because of noise of people walking in and out in the middle of the night and the continuous (day and night) barking of the neighbour's dog.
