This place is the best!

Really nice comfortable place with a short walk right to the beach...made for a great vacation experience. The pool was huge, great food right next door, made me feel like I didn't want to leave.

The owners were very helpful and the apartment had everything we needed.

The apartment was very clean and had lots of useful extras like two deckchairs for the beach and towels for the pool. The washer dryer was also really useful. Supermarket a 2 min walk away. Sunsets at the beach bars were beautiful and lots of fun. The pool was great fun and the beach a 2 minute walk away.

There was nothing wrong with it at all.

We enjoyed our stay. It was very easy to communicate with the owner. We asked for another beach chair and they brought one within an hour. Thank You! The condo was perfect for our group of five. The grounds are beautiful, I would recommend this condo, and we would definitely come back.

While we liked the spaciousness of the condo and its convenient location relative to the Main Street, there were enough

It’s a spacious condo, quite comfortable, and with a couple of very nice pools just a short walk away. It’s also central, a short walk to the beach and the restaurants and shops on the Main Street. The owners were pleasant and I think tried their best, but they weren’t able to fix the Wi-Fi issue during our stay.

The condo is described as “beachfront,” but it isn’t. To get from condo 206 to the ocean you go down some outside stairs, past a large pool area, cross a main road and pass through the primary resort building to the beach. The condo faces west, but the foliage in the yard blocks any view. And while the yard is pretty, we weren’t able to enjoy it because its patio is right beside a huge, loud intake vent for the building’s air conditioning — it isn’t pleasant to sit out there. Although apparently out of the owners’ control, the Wi-Fi worked for only the first night of our 6-night stay, which caused problems for my husband trying to work remotely. There were also a few maintenance issues — the pipe under the kitchen sink leaked, the fridge ran much too cold and froze all our drinks and food (even after we adjusted the settings), and the big glass patio doors in the living room and bedrooms fogged up for hours each morning, so we couldn’t even enjoy the pretty yard from inside. We texted the owners about the sink leak and the fridge before we left, and they didn’t seem surprised or apologetic. It would also have been helpful if we’d known we needed to supply certain basic items, like a corkscrew for wine, coffee filters, etc.

Great condo!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed Matapalo 206, great location! It was close to the beach, food, restaurants, shopping. The pool was great! We really like having laundry and a kitchen.

The only bummer is there isn’t a view because it’s on the 2nd floor, but we didn’t have to carry surfboards up and downstairs.
