Surfside Beach is wide & clean with plenty of open space. Our property is the 3rd home from the Atlantic and where Ocean Blvd is closest to the waves. The neighborhood is refined with many permanent upscale residences. Our home (yes, home as we bring our family & friends here, too) is an independent house with private pool, grounds & decks. We are the original 'Little Pink House' in Surfside.
We have been with VRBO for 19+ years (when VRBO was truly VRBO) and prefer to deal with guests directly. (We also have a 2BR oceanfront across the street, VRBO #4224270). Crazy changes make it difficult to ensure you are getting a quality vacation home & we are hosting responsible adults - so inquire 1st. Don't let this site pressure you - ask questions.

LVB has 3 porch/balconies: main floor living/dining room (beautifully furnished & impeccably maintained) access overlooking pool yard with Ocean views; Upstairs Master BR balcony presents both Ocean and Fabulous Southern sky views - night & day! Plus a porch facing the lightly trafficked side street. With only about 59 Steps to the Beach - La Vita Bella REALLY IS CLOSER to the ocean than many 2nd row homes in Surfside Beach. This home is in a far less dense location than areas north or south, which means more room on the beach.

The house was as advertised. It was in a great location (only steps away from the 13th avenue beach entrance), the pool was perfect, the house was very clean with updated and comfortable furniture and was very well supplied with what was needed to have a great vacation in terms of updated/working appliances, more than enough utensils and pots and pans to cook, and a good supply of cleaning materials. Penny was wonderful in her response to a couple of issues that we had. She listened and addressed the problems right away. Overall, an excellent location and one of our best stays in the Myrtle Area

La Vita Bella was exactly as advertised. We were so happy that it met our wants and needs perfectly. Loved the location - walking to the beach and cozy Surfside Beach restaurants. Penny was very responsive to us and communicated throughout which helped to ensure we knew exactly what to expect. The home was clean and well maintained. We loved our week with La Vita Bella. Beautiful beach house located within 60 steps of the beach. House has all of the amenities that you would need, very clean, and well kept. Host was there for anything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better beach house or host.

Our family absolutely loved La Vita Bella. The home is beautifully decorated and clean!! There is nothing to want for in a vacation. We've vacationed at Myrtle Beach for many years in homes and condos and this was my favorite! The walk to the beach isn't even what I consider a walk. It's a short one minute walk and traffic is minimal in this area. So peaceful and the pool is excellent! I wouldnt have changed a thing. I also appreciated Penny's communication through the process. She made everything seemless. This is a 💎 of a vacation stay. So happy we found it!!

We had a wonderful time at La Vita Bella. Clean, spacious, and a 3 minute walk to the beach. We spent equal times at the beach and the pool. Surfside Beach proved to be a nice vacation spot: close to the Grand Strand amenities but preserves a quiet neighborhood setting. We will definitely return.

Property is very clean and well maintained. This was the first time to Surfside Beach. We could not have ask for a better place to stay. The home had everything we needed. The pool is nice and clean. The balconies are so relaxing to sit and take in the breeze while enjoying the ocean views. Steps away we were on the beach. I highly recommend this property. It was a pleasure staying there and Penny is a wonderful host. We will definitely be back.

The house was perfect for our group!! Lots of room for our grown kids and their friends. The beach was only a few steps away!! The kitchen was well-stocked. The pool was nice and offered a great place to hang out after dinner!! Penny was informative and easily accessible!! Will definitely be back next time we head to the beach!

This was our first trip to Surfside Beach and we greatly enjoyed our stay. The house was a great location, clean and plenty of room for our family. Beach access is easy & very close. Penny is great to work with and attentive to any questions we had! We look forward to returning!

This home is beautiful and exactly as pictured! The host is super sweet and great to work with. My adult daughter and I both work remote so we planned this fun - half work / half vacay - week! The beach is beautiful and the little downtown in Surfside is great. Also found a great ice cream place named Painters, not to far from the house.

La Vita Bella was clean, convenient, comfortable and everything you could want to cook with was in the kitchen. We loved the pool and balconies. Every bedroom has easy access to a bathroom, with 3 being en suite. Penny could not have been better with communication. We had a small problem with the AC that was fixed almost within an hour of reporting it!The only drawback for us was that with houses being close together, we had neighbors who were very noisy on 2 sides.

The house was super clean and we all loved the house. It is so big and spacious and very close to the beach. The pool was refreshing. The house has everything you need and the owner is great! We rented a golf cart for the week and had so much fun driving it to restaurants! We would definitely rent this house again without hesitation..

La Vita Bella was a great choice for our first trip to Surfside Beach. House is well appointed with a full kitchen and plenty of room for our crew of 10. Beach access is right across the street and the neighborhood is very bike/walk friendly (try the farmer's market on Tuesdays). Pool is the perfect option for cooling down any time of day. Penny is an excellent communicator and is super responsive to any questions before, during or after your stay. She is a professional and cares about your experience at her property. Two thumbs up!

Thanksgiving this year was different and since there was not a whole family get together, we decided to take our immediate family to the beach. The owner was a pleasure to work with and made sure our stay was great. The house is exactly as presented. The ocean views from the balconies was a nice treat. We will definitely be back.

The location of the property is perfect. Being able to see the ocean from the decks was amazing. Having the pool to ourselves was a great ending to the days on the beach. Had a great time. Would definitely stay here again. The property owner was very accomodating and responsive.

Outdoor items were dirty upon arrival, Penny said it had been rainy. Not much of a supply of TP or paper towels, luckily we had brought some with us. 2 tv's upstairs not working, checked plug in, there were linens behind the MBR dresser. Remotes missing / not working, but needed batteries. Some beds had blankets, some didn't, Penny told us to look in the closets, able to find more. Could not connect to wifi, password had been changed from what was published. Sunday nite pool person (Lori/Alicia??) came in (unannounced) to "see if there was sand in the pool". As we were upstairs, we don't know what she did, but it seemed they were cleaning it. The next day, the pool pump/heater was blinking, showing "low water flow" and the water was not circulating; water was chilly, (cool outdoor temps), (indoor water pressure also low). When we contacted Penny, she contacted pool personnel. Steve came by, looked at something, left to return about 45 minutes later. After the outdoor temp warmed up, so did the pool (and maintenance had been by to make adjustments). On Friday night as we were cleaning up to leave, about 10 pm, water pressure in the house was very low (same as Monday), checked the pool, it was overflowing! Called Penny, she called us right back and told us how to turn the pool pump off, was very apologetic and thankful we had contacted her. She has also offered to refund half the pool heating fee. All in all, we feel Penny was responsive to our needs.

LVB was such a great house for my family and friends to stay. We had plenty of room in the house. The house was well maintained and we couldn’t get the kids o of the pool! Best part of the trip was the location. The distance to the beach and having Beach chairs and umbrellas set up for you on the beach!! Thank you for a memorable vacation!

I think we finally found our destination for the yearly family vacation! We had 5 adults and 3 kids. The house was so spacious and with four bathrooms, everyone felt like they had enough space (thus, everyone got along really well throughout the entire week!). The pool was great, and the beach is so close. It was never a big deal to run back to the house to get something. Penny (the owner) organized a service to deliver beach chairs and umbrellas designated for our group, and it was SO convenient! In fact, having the beach chairs waiting for us turned out to be essential. We had enough stuff to drag to the beach for our 1-year-old that bringing beach chairs would have put us over the limit of what we could carry. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and we were so relieved there was a highchair and a play-pen available. We had a slight problem getting our linens when we arrived, but I immediately called Penny, and the problem was solved within ten minutes. We are immediately booking this house again for next year.

Our family had a wonderful time, plenty of room with all the comforts of home. As they say home away from home. The home was clean, well maintained and equipped with everything you would need. The owners are wonderful and will do anything to make your vacation as great as possible. Our grandchildren when we got home said we want to go back to the pink house. We highly recommend this property to rent. You probably can't find anything better.

This house was everything that our extended family needed for our stay in South Carolina. Penny and her property management team ensure that your stay will be pleasant one. No disappointments here. House was clean, pool was warm, linens were plentiful, and the home is equipped with all the possible amenities you could need. We will be returning to La Vita Bella if our travels bring us back to Surfside Beach. Great Location, and a great owner that provides above average peace of mind when renting a house. We just got back today and I couldn't wait to write a review. Who needs an ocean front cottage when you are as close as this cottage is to the beach. Upon arrival I knew immediately this cottage has been taken care of and kept very clean. All of the appliances are in great shape and the furniture is in very nice condition. We will definitely rent this cottage the next time we visit Surfside. Thank you Penny.
