Amazing stay with great views to match

We love coming to Arlbeg this is our 3rd time here and yet again they didn’t disappoint big spacious rooms great views staff amazing.

Was a little disappointed that they didn’t have hand towels.

Great location.

Ski in and ski out, with on site ski hire was perfect for a family holiday. Really can't beat the location. The staff (particularly cafe, restaurant & bar staff) were all friendly and provided good service. We stayed in one of the apartment rooms which was very spacious (over two levels) with lovely views. The apartment was clean and beds were warm and comfortable. Front cafe had great coffee.

The room was a little dated and some things didn't work. The downstairs heater did not work even when set to high. The heater next to front door (for drying coats etc.) did not work at all. Breakfast was not included, but 100% should have been at $1,500 AUD per night.

Great location but certainly not worth it

The position is really great, as soon as you get out of the hotel you are immediately on the skiing track. It’s great!

The first thing is that the reception doesn’t have any services to get the luggage from the “concierge” to your room and it’s quite unfortunate if your room is really far from the reception. The staff member/s at the reception were certainly not prepared for anything. The kitchen was extremely dirty, the cover for the stove was glass and it was broken on the angles which is also a hazard. The carpet in the living room was stained and so dirty it was incredible. The lid of the bathtub wouldn’t open so that water would go out. There were only two little bottles of soap in both bathrooms for 5 people for 3 days. Very sad that this hotel isn’t worth anything for the money that we spent on it. Absolutely disgusting!!!

Great place to stay!

The cafe was awesome wonderful staff and excellent food! Rooms were a little dated but still warm and comfortable.

Breakfast needs more variety got very sick of just toast, fruit and cereal there should be some hot food available too.

Great family accommodation

Location was great shuttle bus stop right at the front. Cafe, bar, restaurant and hire shop all in one. Walk out the door and the snow is at your door step.

Room a little old and dark but functional.

great hotel for the family’s first time skiing. easy to ski on ski off. ski hire in hotel was very convenient. beautiful

would have been nice to have a room with a view ( we were upgraded from an interior room with no view to one with limited car park view so we did appreciate that). The scenery was spectacular so would be nice to enjoy from your room. I’m guessing that comes at a significant premium though

Overall my experience has been positive.

Rooms are clean, hotel is very convenient, truly ski in ski out, handy to have storage for luggage.

Breakfast could have started earlier than 8am so people can hit the slopes sooner. Room didn't have a microwave for me to reheat tea/coffee. No shampoo/hairdryer provided. Beds are a bit too soft. Staircases bit too narrow.

Great place to experience the Australian snow fields. Absolutely fabulous!

The breakfast was adequate (continental) considering it is the season end (Sept) It was great having the restaurant on site...we ate there both nights and the food was lovely. We loved the view from our room, beds were comfy and the room was pleasantly decorated.

We liked everything about our weekend away. Buller does the snow experience really well

Staff was very nice and frendly. Coffe shop is at downstairs and always someone available to serve nice hot coffee whenever needed. We loved the place so much my wife want to stay here again next year. Great Location !!! no doubt. Breakfast was good , they can improve by serving hot breakfast with more choices.

They should have provided bottle of water at least, Lucky that we bought 10 Liter of watercan with us fo 2 night of stay. Bit surprise that they didnt have phone in hotel room to call room service or talk someone with reception. Check in time is 3pm feel its too late. They can make at least 1pm

Sucks.

Location is good

After hours customer service was sucks, the jet spa created some loud pitch noise on its own after midnight and noise can be heard to the front desk but we were told there is nothing can be done must wait until morning. Check out time was even worse, our door was knock twice by the front desk staffs and the attitude and face expression was like prison guard.

Great place to stay, especially for couples

It was nice and clean, great breakfast and restaurant- perfect for couples

There were three of us- me and two kids in a room for four and it was far too small for us.

Pleasant

The location and views were amazing. The rooms were a good size.

The reception staff weren’t helpful and at times rude. Not welcoming when you check in. For the excessive price you pay, in check was after 3pm yet check out was 10am sharp. The food at the sports bar was very average. There was black mould in one of the rooms.
