The downstairs unit is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment with high ceilings and an open concept layout. The den, dining area, and kitchen are spacious and wide enough for a wheelchair or walker to navigate. The den has two couches, with one being a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped and the unit has a stackable washer and dryer.
The bedroom has a king bed with a top-quality mattress and plush linens, a closet and hardwood floors. Both the bedroom and living area have flat-screen, smart cable TVs and access to high-speed internet (WI-FI). The bathroom has a dual vanity, a large, walk-in shower with a small lip for easy access, and a grab bar next to the toilet. The ramp outside of this unit adjacent to the parking area is wheelchair accessible.

This is a cozy one bedroom rental in a good neighborhood. The property manager earned super positive feedback as her responses were fast and very supportive! The handyman, Rick was a skilled dedicated worker. They formed an excellent team.
The kitchen and laundry facilities were certainly convenient.
The cleaning done prior to checking in is an opportunity to improve. More attention to deep cleaning the floors, dusting and the shower are recommended.
This rental met the needs of a Winter Texan couple!

My husband and I stayed over New Years the beach was a great way to bring in 2024. The place was so beautiful, well equipped and clean! We reached out to the property manager when we checked in and they were so helpful and nice! Loved it!!

Just a short walk to the beach! Very beautiful area! The place was nice. Only downfall was upstairs neighbors during our stay were extremely noisy and did not sleep all night every night until our last night due to their constant pacing throughout the night.

I have limited mobility, so having the downstairs unit was great for us. We found the unit to be very well decorated and equipped. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is very nice. There is a washer and dryer which was very handy. We really enjoyed our stay and the property manager was very responsive and helpful.

We loved our stay! It’s about a 3-minute walk to the beach, less than 1 minute to the community pool and hot tub. It’s very roomy and beautifully decorated. It is loud if there are kids running around the top floor, and that was the only minor downside. It would be perfect to book both the top and bottom floor for a family. We would absolutely stay here again! Great host with wonderful communication. It was very, very clean.

Nice Place!
The house, bottom floor, was clean and had everything we needed to stay for a few days. The bedroom was large and the bed was comfy. The sofa bed in the living room was not comfortable at all so one of us slept on the couch instead, which was comfortable.
The house is very close to the beach. A suggestion is to possibly have in the VRBO package that you must get a Beach Access sticker for all public Port A beaches before you can park at the beach. The sticker is not expensive ($12) and can be found at any gas station, but it would have been good to have this information prior to our going to the beach and then having to leave and buy the ticket before returning to the beach.
One other suggestion would be to have area rugs in the living room and in the rooms/deck on the 2nd floor. I know there is the sand but the first floor echos and all footsteps and rolling of suitcases, and with kids jumping and running around on the 2nd floor, it was quite noisy on the first floor, especially in the evenings and late nights.
Suzanne, the property manager, was great and always available and responsive to our noise and cable outage concerns. Suzanne made the booking process and helped make our stay at Sand Point enjoyable.
We would definitely stay again, but would stay in the upper floor of the house.

Great Port A Getaway
Great property and very comfortable. Had a great time. Pet frog out front every evening was fun. Upstairs guests can be heard a lot and had a shower when items were washed on the deck upstairs while we were sitting below. Nice folks upstairs and once we let them know no issues. proximity to the beach is great and the pool was great. Loved it. Thank you.

Great location, comfortable and clean!
We had a great stay, perfect for our family of four with two younger kids. The pullout sofa worked well for them and the whole unit was very clean, which is always a plus! Close walk to the beach, or a quick drive if you have more stuff to haul. As others have mentioned, you can hear footsteps and chairs moving from the above unit, but was not a problem for us. We'd definitely stay here again.

Overall it was good! The mattress was way too soft. Very uncomfortable. Shower curtain needed cleaned. Very good location! Pool was great. Driveway was really steep. Very difficult to get up and down with a person recovering from surgery. The people on top floor were very loud. You could hear every foot step. Great location for beach or a fishing trip!!

Beautiful room with beach access
The room and neighborhood are beautiful and the beach access is great. The disappointment came from hearing every footstep from the folks upstairs and the people partying at the pool until after 11:00pm.

30th Anniversary getaway
The property was excellent and well maintained although the driveway was rather steep! My wife uses a power wheelchair so was concerned about the possibility of her tipping when getting in or out of the van. Had to park cross way on the driveway to minimize the risk. Getting into and out of the house with the wheelchair was no problem. The only other problem we encountered was the height of the bed. It was a bit of a challenge get my wife transferred to the bed. Overall a good stay!

PA Paradise
Upon arrival on the last night of spring break the street resembled and sounded like a party zone. On Sunday morning the place transformed into a beautiful calm oasis. Great location for the beach and far away enough from the town center to enjoy the peace and quiet. The pool and hot tub were very nice and a pleasant way to end the day. The apartment has lovely high ceilings which makes it feel spacious. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery. Nice bathroom and decent shower. A couple of recommendations would be a vacuum cleaner, a trash can with a lid on it and some cleaning materials. Overall, a great place to stay.

Very clean and beautifully decorated!
The condo was perfect for my husband and myself! Had everything we needed for the weekend. It would have been nice to have a cheese grater. It was nice to be able to take our dog. The only small issue was that we could hear the people walking around upstairs. Luckily they did not stay up too late. The boardwalk was only a short walk to the beach. Great location.!

A surprise upgrade gave us unexpected larger accommodations, but we would have been very happy with either of the apartments. Will stay here again!
My husband, 3 yr old, 2 dogs, and myself had a wonderful time staying here. The condo has everything you would need. Our stay was Thanksgiving week, and we were able to cook a traditional meal thanks to the kitchen filled with all cookware and the nearby (they had great selection by the way) grocery store.
The condo is a very short walk from the beach, it was perfect! You are also a few blocks away from one of my favorite spots, Coffee Waves.
Suzanne is excellent, and very quick to answer all my questions, and was able to accommodate my 2 dogs last minute. (Thanks again!)
My only small critique, and it was only an issue due to bringing our pups - not our original plan - the yard was covered in STICKERS. OUCH!

Just what we needed.
Nice property and location. Beach was very close and town just a half hour walk. Very quiet as it was the first week in November. Will definitely book again for next year. Only negative was the mattress on the bed but that did not spoil a great trip.

Sweet, short stroll to beach access and then onto a beautiful beach!! The neighborhood is adorable with bright colors and safe and friendly! Great stay
My husband, myself, and our two dogs stayed here recently and would recommend / stay here again. There is a dog station next to the pool, which is helpful since there are so many burrs in the grass, and there were fewer by the station. At the end of the street is a boardwalk to walk to the beach. It is clean, nicely decorated, and in a nice neighborhood. You can hear guests upstairs walking around, but no big deal, would be the same at a hotel or anywhere else you stay. We would stay here again and recommend it. Suzanne is also a text away, and let us check in early since it was ready earlier. Great place.

My wife and i stayed at this beautiful beach house for several days and loved every minute of it. We rented a golf cart to tool around the town and beach but you are even a VERY quick walk to a restaurant and the beach even without one.

Perfect for our little family!
My husband and I stayed here with our one year old. The first floor entry was perfect and it was so close to the beach! The only downside was that the boardwalk had a few steps which made it impossible to take a stroller or cart down to the beach without someone else to help. That being said, as long as you know this ahead of time, it’s not a big deal. We’d definitely book here again.
