Best place in Bandipur

We had a fantastic time at Depche Village. The rooms are comfortable, with decent wifi, comfortable beds and a balcony. Unfortunately we came during wildfires so couldn’t see anything but I can imagine it’s a fantastic view! Amit and his family are so friendly and helpful, the breakfast is delicious and he helped us with booking bus tickets to Kathmandu. I would definitely recommend staying in Depche if you’re in Bandipur.

Amazing views, very peaceful and beautiful. The bed and the blankets smell amazing!! Amit-dai was very gentle and helpful, he prepared very nice breakfast for us 😋 I loved chilling in the hammock every night ;) And my favourite part was playing with the little kitty they have 🥹😍 He is adorable!!

スタッフさんが謙虚で温厚で優しくて最高でした。それにロケーションも期待以上でした。急なバスの手配もきちんとしてくださり、翻訳アプリを使って心配しなくても大丈夫ですよとデータを解りやすく書いて下さいました。場所を考えずキャリーバックで行ってしまった私を、タクシーが入れる場所まで荷物を抱えて送迎してくださいました。

Het uitzicht en de service van eigenaar en personeel was 5 sterren!

Het afwerkingsniveau van de kamer was onvoldoende. Kamer zag er op de foto’s veel beter uit dan deze in werkelijkheid was. Stinkende rioollucht in badkamer was niet fijn. Dagelijkse schoonmaak ontbrak. Hoge prijs voor hetgeen geboden werd.

Loved the stay..I will surely return to this place. Amit was such a lovely host

* amazing view from the balcony. * Walking distance from the bazaar * We'll maintained property. Beautiful garden * hot water available all day.

* a short walk from the main road. It's a nice walk however it gets dark early in the evening and the pathway is dimly lit making it slightly tough to find the way. * Mosquitoes after 5pm..so ensure you take repellents. * Only breakfast available. Need to go into the town for other meals.

Amazing location, very friendly and helpful staff.

This was our favourite stay during my 3 week trip to Nepal. If we ever come back to Bandipur we will definitely stay here again Superb location, great place to relax if you're coming from Kathmandu like we did.

Beautiful location and lovely staff

Lovely hotel with unbeatable views of the mountains and valley, just outside the centre of Bandipur. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Relaxing vibes all around. Would wholheartedly recommend!

Exceptional

The place is amazing, just outside of Town but reachable in 5 minutes (walk). The room are great, the breakfast too and Amrit is a wonderful host. The view from the balcony is unbelievable!

A calm peaceful retreat

Fabulous hotel! It's a beautiful 5-minute walk through the village, by a school, and cornfields. The property is on the end of a little ridge, which means beautiful views of green hillsides. The buildings and rooms are lovely classic style and there's a wonderful green flowered courtyard. The whole place is calm, peaceful, and quiet except for the chirping of birds. Management was very friendly.

Fantastic property in a great location with wonderful, helpful staff!

The breakfast was fantastic, so good and fresh! The husband/wife team Amrit and Jodit were hardworking and friendly and so was the manager Amit. I really appreciated the help I received with my heavy luggage by Amrit going and coming. I loved the surrounding community. I made great friends with some of the neighbors that really talked to me, invited me into their homes for massage tea and they were so welcoming. I was really grateful for all the help I received at Depche and the Bandipur community!

I loved everything, nothing was wrong.

Lovely property with great hosts

Very comfortable room with beautiful views. We liked that the property was not on the main Street but was only a short walk away. Our hosts went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and were very helpful. We really enjoyed our time relaxing in Bandipur.

The bathroom drain had a bad smell to it which wasn’t great. But overall the room was very comfortable and good value for money.

Probably the best place in Bandipur

Beautiful spot, lot of space, yoga space outside, cozy rooms, nice balcony. The place is 5 minuts walk from the main road on narrow Street, but guys are meeting on the road and taking bags, so its not a problem to reach the place. Water in the shower is very Hot. I am often coming to Bandipur and i like this place more then other hotel at the same price in the Village.

Breakfast is super simple, but ok to eat something in the morning.

lovely location and stunning views from the room - had a balcony with table and chairs where I had breakfast

bathroom didn’t have a curtain for the shower so it was a bit of a mess. also, the first day there was no hot water, I had to ask the following morning and they must have done something as the second day I was able to shower with hot water the bathroom could have done with a cleanup … it also had a massive spider web, between the sink and the bin: I’m confused as to why it was there, surely when they remove the bin for emptying the web would be gone? they don’t accept credit cards: I found this out when I was checking out! they said it was on booking but there was no information on my booking of this sort. I stayed two nights there which means they could have told me at any point in time that I had to pay cash, rather than at the last minute

I really loved this place. The facilities far exceeded my expectations and the view was awesome. I stayed nearly a week longer than I had originally planned because I liked the area and hotel so much.

There is a bit of a walk to get to it from the main road. I liked the walk through the houses and field to get to the hotel. I thought it was fun, but don't plan on parking a vehicle near the property. The only way to get to the property is a narrow pathway with stairs and through a field.

Too expensive for what you really get

The manager was always super nice and he wanted to help us out anytime. The views from our room were really beautiful.

Bed, blanket and pillows smelled really bad. We asked for another room and they smelled also bad. The bathroom was a bit disgusting, mirror and walls full of humidity. Not worth for 45 euros per night, really really expensive for what we got.

Laid-back hotel surrounded by beautiful nature

-) Laid-back, chilled and slightly hippiesque atmosphere -) Quiet place to relax, 10 minutes away from the town center, picturesque courtyard and terrace -) Hotel surrounded by beautiful nature, offering breathtaking views across the valley and the mountains (in theory, see below) -) Superfriendly staff, especially manager Amit, who is very helpful with everything and with whom I had pleasant conversations -) Very good breakfast

-) Not as downside, but to manage your expectations: the hotel cannot be reached by car, but only via a 5-10 walk on a partly narrow foot path including stairs -) The rooms, although all in all comfortable and cosy, had some minor traces of wear & tear; the bathroom is built in some sort of nature style, the stone tiles seem to be joint sealed by soil, which when in contact with water, causes a slightly muddy effect; using flip flops might be recommendable -) For the arachnophobic: since the hotel is surrounded by fields and grassland, (presumably harmless) eight-legged friends of all different sizes visit the rooms (at least on the ground floor) and can be seen on the ceiling, walls etc. But again, this just comes with the circumstances and I would certainly not make the hotel responsible for it -) When I visited at the end of April, wildfires, haze and smog severely affected visibility and mountain views, for which Bandipur is famous for. This of course cannot be influenced by the hotel. But if this is what you plan to come for, it might be wise to check with the hotel beforehand how the situation regarding air pollution currently is
