Unobstructed views from the living, dining, kitchen and master bedroom. Enjoy sunny days and stormy weather, all from the shelter of your own covered porch while sipping your favorite drink and relaxing! Want to be adventurous?
Go biking, surfing or skim boarding or just wander down to the jetty and watch the seals and see what the fishermen are catching. Sit on the couch and relax and watch the beautiful Oregon coast at your feet. There is something for everyone...hundreds of movies to watch, games to play, puzzles to put together and driftwood forts to build. Enjoy and have fun! This is a great family vacation home, a little piece of paradise. (Absolutely no weddings are to take place. Renters will be asked to leave immediately and their money forfeited. There are no exceptions. Also, no parties over 9 people.)

Perfect home on the beach. We enjoyed walking the beach and the sunsets. The home floor plan is awesome with two living spaces. Home was well equipped and beds were comfortable. Great owners and check in was easy.

This is our second year staying at beach star. Our 4 generation group were ages 8-93. Well stocked kitchen, very clean, comfortable beds, short walk to ocean. Loved going to sleep listening to the waves. Everything was perfect. I had to call owner with a question, and was immediately answered. Very good communication from start to finish

We have stayed at this same location for several summers for our annual family beach trip. We love it every time! It is well stocked with all the beach toys that you need. It is a great location for a sandy beach without crowds. There are also plenty of games and movies available when you are taking a break from the beach. We will be back!

Rockaway Beach is amazing and less busy than Arch Cape or Cannon Beach, but both are a short drive away. The house has a gorgeous ocean view and great layout. The beach is literally 2 minutes away. The owners are responsive and attentive.

This is a perfect beach house for a large family or families!! The view is amazing, the kitchen well-stocked, and the house filled with books, puzzles, beach toys, comfortable beds and lounging furniture. We loved our stay here!!!

Super impressed with the property. The location of this house is fantastic. You can just walk right down to the beach from the back patio. We had teenagers with us and it was so great to be able to let them go back and forth and explore while we watched from the kitchen and patio. We particularly enjoyed going out at low tide early in the morning with coffee and looking for sand dollars as well as roasting smores over our little beach fire at night. The hot water never seemed to run out which was impressive for 6 girls in the house. Well stocked kitchen. Cute shopping nearby as well as places to go crabbing and get fresh seafood. Very clean with comfy matresses. Crazy big dvd and book collection. You could stay here for months and never get bored.

The house was spacious and had a perfect view of the ocean.
We loved that there was a dining table big enough for all of us, and the huge movie collection was a bonus.
We stay in Rockaway every year because of its quiet location, and this house didn't let us down. It's in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of uncrowded beach to enjoy.

Amazing home with an incredible front-seat view of the ocean! Comfortable, easy access to the beach, incredible sunsets and for us....a lot of love to go around having had our 2 daughters/2 sons-in-law with us to celebrate for the entire week! Highly recommend these wonderful hosts, as well as a good time to be had by all!!

Beach access is fine if you use the public entrance to the left of the house. The path from the house leads to a rather significant drop to the beach (about 6 to 8 feet) that is doable but the public access is much better, especailly if you have chairs, toys, etc. Home is laid out perfectly for enjoying the great ocean views! TV viewing is downstairs which makes sense. Lots of DVDs but did not have access to streaming channels, such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. Really enjoyed the house but not a good location for beachcombing. Would recomment to others.

This is an annual trip we have been making from the mountains of Montana to the beaches of Oregon for seventeen years but the first time at Beach Star in Rockaway. We all loved the house and the easy access to the beach.

We’ve stayed at this beach house several times. As always, it was super clean and has everything you need. Location is fantastic, right on the beach and a short drive to town. Hope to stay again next year. My only wish is that they would put screens on the windows.

Location Location Location...if you love looking at the ocean, walking down to the beach in under a minute this is your place. The house was perfect for my family and our in-laws. The owners were so terrific when my son left a sweatshirt and were even willing to make a drive out to get it. We found another way but the gesture was amazing!

Beautiful, spacious, upscale home on virtually private beach. It does not get any better than this--best vacation rental ever!
The house, on a quiet uncrowded street and literally oceanfront, is huge, stylish, and immaculate. Layout is wonderful for gathering or separate activities. Plenty of room for 2 couples plus 4 children. Jan the owner is extraordinarily kind and responsive.
Gorgeous LR with wall of windows has stunning ocean views, deep padded leather sofa and recliners to relax and soak up the vista. Beautiful fireplace accent wall. Large LR is open to very spacious DR with solid table and chairs to accommodate 8+, and more wide ocean views!
Amazing kitchen had literally everything we could want, inc fancy cake pans, crock pot and electric grill. We cooked almost every night--plenty of space for multiple adults and kids to assist, or advise from the counter bar seats.
MBR has lovely ocean views and bed is super comfy. Plenty of storage in closet and armoire, a rare plus in a vacation home. Nice large shower in ensuite bathroom.
2nd BR was also comfortable with mountain views and attached bath.
And there's a downstairs too!
Pretty entry, huge TV room, washer/dryer, Kid Room plus another full bath. Did I mention this house has everything?
Stupendous ocean sunsets every night from the wide porch or from our "private" silky sand beach. Beach toys and kites, and outdoor faucet to wash off the sand. Cute town to enjoy fudge, plus scenic tidepooling nearby. PERFECT STAY!

Just like a picture can't give justice to the feeling of a lush forest or a grand view, the same is true for this house. The pictures don't capture how comfortable the furnishings are, how much light fills the space, how relaxing it is, how accessible it is to the ocean, and lots of other details that make this place feel like your vacation home instead of one you rented.

This was a perfect beach house rental for us. The house is conveniently located to town but also tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The house had everything we needed. The views from the house and back porch are lovely and were great for evening sunsets. The white sand beach out back stretches north and south offering endless opportunity to walk/run/play, relax, star gaze, etc. I highly recommend this rental and hope to return to this beautiful spot and perfect beach house.

This was our second time staying at Beach Star. It’s a beautiful house, comfortably furnished, and has everything you need for a great vacation. The only thing it was missing was a Bluetooth speaker so bring your own if you want to listen to your tunes.

We loved that the beach was so close! The upstairs layout was nice and accommodated the two married couples. We put the teens and college kids in the downstairs bunk room and that worked great. We loved having the two fridges - perfect for our family. The internet quit for a day or so and the owner/host was very helpful in getting it back online for us. The place was clean and the beds comfortable. Thank you!

Amazing vacation in Rockaway Beach!
This home and location are absolutely perfect! The pictures do not do the house and ocean views justice. Everything is beautiful and serene!
The house is absolutely immaculate with everything you could need. There’s a fully stocked kitchen, books, games, hundreds of DVDs, and all kinds of things to use at the beach. The neighborhood is quiet. We even saw deer in the yard almost every day.
We can’t wait to come back! I stay in vacation homes a few times a year, and this one is at the top of the list. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle. It’s perfection!

Fantastic Ocean Getaway
I rented this house with my family to celebrate our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. This home was everything we needed whether we stayed at the house for the day or treated it as basecamp for adventures further away. It was amazing to be just steps away from the beach! So much to see and explore right out the back door.
Rooms and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and the heated tile floor was so lovely in the cool mornings and evenings. We enjoyed the variety of board games available to spend evenings playing. My dad enjoyed the tv downstairs to watch the evening ball games :)
The back porch was a great spot for watching and listening to the ocean while getting some refuge from the coastal winds on those windier days. We also stared out the windows during the day whenever we found ourselves in the upstairs living room. We also enjoyed turning the stereo on each day and listening to the local radio station. The speakers in the ceiling were a nice touch!
Be on the look out for a pair of bald eagles. We were fortunate to see them on the beach a couple of times and then they would fly by the house during the day to the trees across the main highway.
Our family made some great memories during our stay. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again. Huge thank you to Jan for her hospitality and sharing this fantastic home with us!

The home was very clean, well equipped, and the location perfect. The layout of the house was perfect for our family.. The kids could be upstairs with the adults or in the family room downstairs. Easy beach access.

The best beach house ever!
We felt at home the moment we stepped into Beach Star. The pics of the home were accurate to a tee. The proximity to the beach was outstanding and the neighborhood was quiet. It was difficult to leave and we already want to go back!!

Amazing!
This house was absolutely the best ever! The view from the upstairs living room was beyond breathtaking. You could just sit and watch out those windows for ever so long and never get tired of the view. The house layout was amazing and the heated floor in the kitchen was the best. What we really loved was the vast selection of games, toys, videos etc…that were enjoyed by the family. There was also a wonderful sound system upstairs and CD’s to select from to set a great relaxing mood in the house. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for Christmas and New Years holiday. We even got snow!!!! And this house really is located right up the beach. I’d have to say it was one of the most relaxing places we have stayed in a long time. Thank you so much for our wonderful vacation. We will definitely be coming back.

The beach front views are wonderful. We loved the tv being downstairs. This house is extremely sound proof and quiet. The comfortable beds and multiple bathrooms we a plus. This house is a star in our books.

Wonderful Experience
This house has it all! This was by far the best house that we've staying in during our annual visit to Rockaway Beach. The proximity and easy access to the beach was perfect. The house had everything we needed and had the most well-equipped kitchen we've seen in a rental house. We will definitely be booking a stay at this house again!

Relaxing Beach Getaway
This house is fully stocked for everything you need at the beach from toys to kites to bikes. The house is very comfortable with games, puzzles, movies, everything you need to relax. The house is always very clean with comfortable beds. You can't beat the view and access to the beach. We have made this an annual get away and hope to continue as it is everything we need for a relaxing family getaway.

Best Beach Experience By Far
This home is perfectly located for accessing an incredible beach scape. Beautifully appointed, extremely clean and comfortable, we plan to come back here to enjoy family And friends every year. The best part of our experience has always been the view from the patio. My entire family met there this summer and we all sat outside for hours enjoying the sound of the waves and beautiful sunsets. Thank you for generously opening your home for us to enjoy!!

Perfect place for a family getaway

Beyond our expectation
This is a great property and you get exactly what is shown in the pictures. We loved the location - away from any crowds but close enough to Rockaway Beach to make quick runs into town. Loved the view, the beach and everything about the house. We hope to return.
