We had fun, family time over Christmas. A small lighted tree was provided and the gas fire set the tone. We took advantage of all the opportunities to be together walking to the beach, soaking in the hot tub, eating a lot, playing games, doing a jigsaw puzzle and eating some more. It was the perfect setting for laugher, storytelling and loving.

We stayed Thanksgiving weekend and that meant our great had to be prepared. The kitchen is a dream! Everything you could want and more! And then there is the rest of the house.. amazingly appointed! The walk to the beach is short and parking plentiful for four family groups! We'll be back!

Plenty to do for 4 little 5 and under sand urchins. We were impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked and organized, easy for more than one cook to work at one time. The home gave a sense of calm, simply and tastefully decorated. I had to touch some of the plants to see if they were real.
It was a sense of awe for me, walking the path to the beach and seeing the Pacific again after being away from the PNW for 55 years.

My family and I loved our stay at Seagrass. We go to Long Beach every year and this is our favorite trip. It’s such a joy to stay in a home where the owner thinks about every single detail. There is so much to do in the home, we couldn’t get to everything during our stay. It was perfect for my family from my baby to the older adults and our dogs. It feels very private and so quiet. We’ll be back next year and extend our stay so we have time to enjoy everything!

Great for a family get together. Loved the coziness and special though for all the extra touches. Comfortable beds, volleyball court, beach wagon, game room, blankets and fireplace. Kids loved the juicer, everything is very well organized, and really comfortable beds. So close to the beach and centrally located. We loved our stay and hope to be back! Kept 6 teenagers engaged and busy.

We had such a wonderful time at Seagrass. We were there with our children and grandchildren. This house has something for everyone no matter the time of year. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and has every appliance you could want. The beach is just a short walk away and the house is stocked with lots of beach toys for the kids. This house lacks nothing and provided our family with a wonderful vacation. Toby is a gracious host and we can't wait to come back.

Our family gathered here for the second time since one year ago. The house is clean, organized, and comfortable. We settled right in and had the most amazing time. This home is without a doubt the BEST home I have ever rented. My now-husband and I stayed here during our wedding weekend with our 8 guests and had a fantastic time. The house felt like our 11th guest by the end of it. Toby was a fabulous host, so communicative, kind, and helpful. It is abundantly clear in every detail of this house that it was built & furnished with love and care. We marveled over the extremely well-appointed kitchen, killer game room, excellent layout and superb location - daily walks to the beach are a must! 5 star property. The beds were as comfortable as any luxury resort, the game room kept us all entertained for hours, and the kitchen was a dream to prepare meals in. A quiet, gated neighborhood with a short walk to the beach was the perfect destiny for any occasion. We will return.

This property is perfect for a group of friends or family. Amazing location, walk to beach and has every amenity and activity you could want. The game room was awesome to have, lot of time spent in there. Beds are all very comfortable and kitchen is stocked with everything. This is the 2nd place we’ve stayed at from Toby and they don’t compare, he puts so much time into them to make sure his guests have the best time.

Toby's Seagrass is the most amazing place we've ever stayed in. Everything you might imagine needing has been thoughtfully provided. The house itself is wonderful and the game room was well used throughout our visit. We just loved our time there (6 days).

The Seagrass listing is exceptional in detailing all of the amenities of this property. There is something for everyone. We enjoyed the location being close to town and very close to the North end of the Discovery Trail. We enjoyed our meals at home in the well equipped kitchen - and groceries were nearby if needed. And while we came to enjoy the ocean beach, when we were tired we enjoyed the game room or just lounging with a book. Toby is very responsive to inquiries or needs and this is an A++ property!

The house is lovely, very comfortable and complete. The whole family enjoyed the game room, the outdoor volley ball court, the jacuzzi and easy access to the beach. The master showers were amazing. The kitchen was well organized and fully equipped. We enjoyed time together, but also space to spread out.

Seagrass Beach House
The stay was amazing. The house has everything you could need for a weekend trip away. The kitchen was completely stocked with every and any instrument you may need, with a full spice rack, and some basic pantry staples too. The hot tub and jet tubs were a hit, and the garage had enough activities that we really didn’t have a need to leave the property! Very satisfied with our stay, and will be renting this out again in the future.

Indoor & outdoor games galore!
Property was immaculately clean and organized. Kitchen was stacked with everything you could need -- my girlfriend is a professional chef and commented numerous times on the quality of the cutlery. Most importanlty though, this house is designed for families who love games; there's dozens of board games, several video game consoles with all the biggest hits and 4 controllers, plus a garage with a pool table, ping pong, corn hole and shuffle board. And finally, they have a volleyball net and court. And my family did it all! A + recommendation

Already Looking Forward to the Next Visit!
Where do I even begin? I have been coming to Long Beach with my immediate and extended family my entire life. We generally stay in separate hotels, and just recently decided to start renting VRBO properties so that we can all stay together. We always travel with a group of 7 to 9 people, and our dog. THIS HOUSE WAS INCREDIBLE and absolutely PERFECT for our family getaway!!! Everybody had their own bedrooms and practically their own bathrooms. My teenage son was able to have his own space in the stunning apartment above the garage/game room which was so great for him (this was his 17th birthday trip!). It is incredibly obvious how much time and effort that the owners put into this property so that other families can enjoy it. The home is BEAUTIFUL and is fully stocked and decorated with top of the line items. There are puzzles, video games and movies galore, which worked out perfectly for us as the weather wasn’t the best this weekend. You cannot think of an item that this place does not have! We had so much fun, and the check in and check out process was so incredibly detailed that it made everything seamless. My initial contact with the owner during booking was quick, easy, and pleasant! I had no reason to contact him during our stay (everything was flawless), but no doubt would have gotten through immediately if needed. I almost did not want to talk about this property because I want it all to myself, ha ha! But that wouldn’t be fair and I know it… So if you’re thinking of a place to stay with a large group (or not!), you absolutely cannot go wrong with this property! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay and we look forward to our next visit!!!

We had a lovely stay at Long Beach. It was the rest and retreat that our family needed. There was some many activities to do at the house as well a quick walk to the beach. I loved hearing the waves at night from my room. There was every kitchen gadget you could think of there. Toby was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had.

Incredible Long Beach Property
My grandmother and grandfather and my mom and dad honeymooned in Long Beach and in recent years owned property here for two decades. My dad is a local author on Long Beach history and a Community Historians Project member. To say we love Long Beach is inadequate. This property is simply put; incredible. The attention to detail in a culinary lovers kitchen is bar none. There is nothing they have not thought of from the multitude of games to the plethora of beach gear they provide and that is not even mentioning the luxurious accommodations. I challenge you to find a more superior rental on the coast.
