Disappointed old and many faults. Major Reno’s looks like war zone

Booked at last minute due to needed to pull up through the night as we still had 3 hours before reaching home.

Upon entry looked like a war zone due to major Reno’s going on, then on entry the beds are old and saggy in the middle. Light bulbs not fitted so open sockets in family room for kids to poke fingers in. Spiderwebs on corners as per pic, the vents have not been cleaned in a long time. Then we put milk into the fridge to find 2 old off milk bottles still in there plus the fridge wasn’t even turned on. Was very disappointed should have drove into some other motels we passed that had vacancy’s but oh well.

Excellent value with friendy staff and clean rooms.

The room was tidy and clean. The bedding was newer with bottom and top sheet. My dog sleeps in the car but they were dog friendly with a walking area next to the motel.

It’s comfortable enough for an overnight stay.

We were looking for somewhere to stay overnight on our way back to Melbourne & the reviews on this place were good. It was comfortable enough for an overnight stay.

It might be better to describe this place as an old style motel. The property is a bit old & could use some freshening up.

A great country motel with rooms larger than most in a convenient location.

Easy to find as we drove into town. Walking distance to shops and restaurant. Room size was good and very clean. Bed was great with electric blankets.

Restaurant seemed to be permanently closed.

Once we were moved to a different room it was great.

Comfortable bed, nice sized rooms, Hayley was absolutely great when we raised a problem with her.

The first room we were put in the extra pillows in cupboard had mold on them and floor was wet. We were moved to new room.

grate for overnight stay on a road trip to QLD

Location was great for an overnight stay. reasonable price for a road trip.

the bathroom is dated and needs to be updated. aircon also needs to be cleened and serviced.

Perfect stop over for myself and my dog.

Very clean, pet friendly with a large garden area for the dogs to run.

Lovely stay

The three children loved the big pool. We found the rooms very cosy and well suited for a family. Spacious. Crockery and utensils to serve up a meal. A nice big kitchen table. Its not flash but provided everything we needed to come home to after a day out exploring . 😊

The Mother of one child suggests the door from kitchen into meeting room be locked from the unit as she didnt want the children going in there.

Wouldn't return - too noisy & disappointed staff were not up front

Realised I left a (new) t-shirt in the bathroom . Called them early the next day and the woman who answered phone advised she had found it and would post through the week. I stated several times to transfer post costs immediately. Had to re ring them a week or so later ( as not t shirt received) and another woman said she would follow up but didn't! Why BS if no intention to do what you say.??Basic older style motel on the main trucking route north so we could hear trucks all night.

T.V. didn't work and they new they had problems from a previous person that booked in restaurant was advertised as working but wasn't working they to change the advertisement won't be back

Was an overnight stay for 2 sisters with dog en route north

Offered pet (small dog) friendly accomodation - allows dog to stay in room with you.

Was happy but pet friendly room needs updating eg bathroom tiling.

Very affordable and comfortable which is what you need when travelling

The room was neat enough. The cups, plates and cutlery were dirty in the hand basin. Everything else seemed clean.

There were no clean cups, we had to wash the dirty dishes in the hand basin from the previous visitors.

Last minute booking. Friendly staff. Easy access and late check-in.

For me personally, I found the bed was not for me. Just couldn't sleep.

We loved our stay

The staff was sensational! The room was very comfortable for the whole family. It was the perfect location to stop on our drive north to Queensland. And the dinner recommendation at the Imperial Hotel was perfect!

This is an older establishment so be aware of this. Plus, it is near the main road so you will hear trucks driving past all night. And, perhaps, the dark brick could do with a lightening up.

The motel accommodation was clean and comfortable and met all my needs.

Location was quiet despite closeness to highway. Parking was good. Handy to town centre.

I think at the time the motel had staffing problems due to illness. No restaurant or food service was provided. The internet was very limited.
