Wieder im Bijou und nicht enttäuscht

Das Hotel Goldgasse ist ein kleines wunderbares Bijou. Es war unser zweiter Aufenthalt und wir würden sofort wieder gehen. Die Zimmer sind im Artdecostil eingerichtet und sehr ruhig. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und die Goldgasse ist eine hübsche kleine Gasse zum schlendern. Das Personal ist superfreundlich, hat Charm und Witz. Einfach toll!

Wie im siebten Himmel

Wir waren nun zum dritten Mal im Hotel Goldgasse in Salzburg, und es war wieder einmal ein absoluter Traum! Das kleine Boutique-Hotel mit nur 16 Zimmern liegt direkt in der Altstadt, was es zu einem perfekten Ausgangspunkt macht. Vom Flughafen aus erreicht man das Hotel in etwa 15 Minuten mit dem Bus 10, der ohne Umsteigen bis zum Ferdinand-Hanusch-Platz fährt. Die Zimmer sind individuell und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, mit Motiven der Salzburger Festspiele, was eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre schafft. Besonders erwähnenswert sind die luxuriösen Annehmlichkeiten wie der flauschige Bademantel sowie die hochwertige Bodylotion, Shampoo, Duschgel und Conditioner. Auch die Nespresso-Maschine auf dem Zimmer ist ein schönes Extra. Das Frühstück im hoteleigenen Restaurant ist sehr hochwertig und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Doch was unseren Aufenthalt besonders gemacht hat, war der herzliche Service. Als wiederkehrende Gäste wurden wir besonders warm empfangen und bekamen statt der üblichen Tipps für Erstbesucher direkt Neuigkeiten aus Salzburg erzählt. Frau Koller, die gute Seele des Hauses, nahm sich immer wieder Zeit für kurze, persönliche Gespräche über die Restaurants, die wir besucht hatten und wie unser Eindruck war. Man fühlt sich hier einfach wie zu Hause bei Freunden. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen: Luxus mit einem heimischen Gefühl in perfekter Lage. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Precious hotel

Really Small luxury Hotel - in the heart of the city, on an ancient street in an ancient authentic building, but at the same time with an amazing designer renovation, comfortable beds and generous space - this hotel is our love. The staff is fantastically helpful and friendly. Ulrika is simply charming. The hotel has one of the best Austrian cuisine restaurants in the city. The guys from the restaurant are just top-notch professionals. We really felt like we were being taken care of.

The location of the Hotel Goldgasse in Salzburg's Old City was ideal. We were close to everything. The room design was very modern-contemporary.....which we loved. A special mention to the lady at reception. She was very nice and her enthusiasm was contagious, she could not do enough for you. We could not of asked for mor. Thank you.

Character, decor, atmosphere and location within the old town. Very well run by a welcoming and friendly host, Ulrike. Excellent service by the staff. Exceptional breakfast.

Location would not be better, right in the center of the old town making it very easy to walk around everywhere you needed to! Yet hotel is located in a small side street so very quiet! Host was very kind and helpful ! Room is big, clean and comfortable! Breakfast was good, variety could be better but again it was served, not a buffet. We would definitely come back !

I would definitely stay at the Hotel Goldgasse again. The hospitality, service is 1 of a kind.

Breakfast was excellent! A mini buffet was brought to your table &, if you wanted a hot meal, how you wanted it served. Everything was done exactly how the guest requested. The location is excellent - walking distance to most things, shops, tourists information & attractions, restaurants.

Nothing. I can’t think of anything that could have been done better! From the moment you arrived, you felt like you were a welcome visitor in someone’s home.

Exceptional

This is an excellent hotel. The location is perfect and the standards of the room and breakfast were very good and in keeping with the price point. In particular, from the moment you enter the hotel, you are greeted by Ulrike, the manager, who welcomes you like an old friend (offering champagne) and provides a standard of service and hospitality throughout your entire stay that is hard to find these days. It was a joy to experience. She is gold!

Fantastic location and walking distance to everything. Friendly staff welcomed us with their own champagne.

We could hear quite a bit of noise overnight and into the mornings, vacuuming, construction noises both from inside the hotel and outside on the small street - noise travels a lot. A bit tricky to get to if you have luggage - no cars can drive directly to the hotel so be prepared to walk a bit. Hotel elevator was small and only fit 2 ppl
