An absolute gem

This is an absolute gem. It is a small family run hotel, set in its own delightful grounds, about a mile south of Cabezon along a very quiet lane, ideal for a stroll. Our room had its own spacious terrace. The buffet breakfast is as comprehensive as in a big top class hotel without the pushing and dodging of other guests. The hot options are cooked to order. The proprietor offers a “light” dinner but one can make it as substantial as one wishes and it is of excellent quality, good value and in very agreeable surroundings.

Superb

Jardin de Carrejo is a beautiful place to enjoy a few days in Cantabria. The location is perfect to drive to all the sites along the coast. The breakfast was homemade and delicious. It is also possible to get dinner, which is simple but quite good.

Nothing. If something it is not clear from the reservation if the room you are getting has a shower or a spa bath.

A beautiful old house with wonderful gardens. We had a junior suite which was great with plenty of comfortable seating. The bathroom was huge. Our host Alfonso was very kind and helpful Fabulous breakfast Thank you

There was no restaurant on site and the hotel was a little way out of town Only a problem because it was absolutely pouring down.

Really lovely start to our holiday, unexpected as we arrived in Santander instead of Bilbao.

The jacuzzi bath in the Junior Suite was truly exceptional. The breakfast was also pretty tiptop. The garden was delightful, as the name of the hotel would suggest :)

The staff is extremely helpful and kind. They adviced several places to visit and things to do in the region, also restaurants. They are very polite, kind and helpful. It is a a very relaxing place to stay and enjoy the silence.

Fabulous hotel & garden

It might be a little away from the coastal tourist route, but this small hotel is an absolute gem and offers possibly the best breakfast in Asturias (and we’ve tried a fair number). The garden is a total pleasure with 83 different species of tree to discover. We’ll be back.

I liked everything - the host even managed to suggest some extremely palatable Cantabrian wine - not something we’d come across before, but which I’d happily purchase again.
