No hay una sola cosa que no nos guste de este hotel. Somos una pareja de Bilbao, que en cada aniversario de boda, nos hacemos una escapada a Santillana y.desde que abrió este precioso hotel (siempre que nuestro trabajo no nos ha impedido ir) no dudamos a la hora de elegirlo para disfrutar de nuestro día. Desde sus instalaciones modernas, decoradas al detalle, hasta su personal, que se caracteriza por su amabilidad y respeto así como por hacer en todo momento que sus clientes nos sintamos mimados en todo momento, es lo que hace que lo elijamos para rememorar un día tan especial como es el aniversario de boda y también lo recomendemos a nuestros amigos que desean hacer una escapada especial con sus parejas, de los cuales, ya muchos han estado y nos han dado las gracias por habérselo recomendado. Para quien esté leyendo esta reseña, no dudes en elegir este hotel para alojarte, acertarás seguro. Y ah!!! Por supuesto, desayunar en él, porque la calidad de sus productos como el tener cocina el vivo, hacen que sea la guinda del pastel. Un saludo y espero que mi reseña ayude a muchas personas a decidirse.

No hay nada, pero nada, que no me haya gustado. Pero si tendría que poner un pero, sería que hemos echado en falta unas zapatillas de cortesía.

Serene stay within steps of everything!

Wonderful location and absolutely beautiful, quiet hotel with amazing garden and pool area. Staff was also lovely and very helpful. We had a wonderful time.

Luxurious, fantastically comfortable and welcoming property.

My stay from the beginning to the very end was top tier. The hotel was spotless and attention to detail unmatched. The staff was the friendliest, accommodating and professional I’ve ever come across. My stay at Hotel Cuevas exceeded all expectations and was superior to my large hotel brand experience.

Nous serions volontiers restés plus longtemps.

Hôtel moderne et confortable. Tout le personnel est très gentil et souriant avec une boisson offerte à l'arrivée et un petit tote bag offert pour le voyage de retour. Nous avons pris un bon repas le soir et le petit dejeuner buffet avec un cuisinier sur place est superbe. Le parking dans le bâtiment est très pratique.

L'hôtel est en bord de la route on entend un peu de circulation si la chambre est de ce côté.

Lovely hotel

Everything, such a great hotel and very reasonably priced. We were upgraded which was very much appreciated.

The air conditioning was locked and we couldn’t adjust it and the room was 25 degrees and uncomfortably warm. Ended up calling reception and it was eventually resolved only until the next day when the same thing happened again.

A very special, modern hotel

The staff were excellent as always; helpful, very pleased to see us again and very courteous and efficient. The hotel is well located for walks into the town. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were incredibly well made and very tasty and typically ‘Spanish’.

irritating hotel advertisement movie streaming continuously behind the front desk. Rooms at the front of the hotel faced a road that was quite busy. Though the windows were double glazed, the smallness of the rooms made the air conditioning too cold. But if we opened the window road noise kept us awake.

Lovely quiet modern hotel with beautiful grounds

Modern hotel but lovely big room with tea/coffee making facilities. Good shower and big confirtabke bed. Nice outdoor pool and terrace area with cute drinks bar in a converted VW van. Beautiful decor in the public areas. Indoor bar and restaurant looked nice. oBreakfast excellent but not cheap. Worth it. Staff efficient

The hotel was nice. A small walk out of the historical village Excellent breakfast We had 2 problems after the first night of a 3 night stay, they were resolved quickly

The evening menu for the restaurant is really inadequate with very little choice If you are below a room with a spa bath it can be very noisy

I used “free parking” as a filter to book this room. I think it is misleading for the hotel to be allowed to say it has free parking, when in reality they have paid garage parking. “Free” is if you can find street parking.

The rooms were huge! Shower was excellent. Good quality fixtures and fittings. Excellent breakfast. Pool area very pleasant. Well situated for visiting the old town. Secure underground parking was excellent.

The lighting in the car park did not remain on long enough while loading and unloading motorbikes.

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful and relaxing stay with extremely comfortable bed. Great location. Staff are clearly trying very hard with strong attention to detail. We'd definitely stay again.

The rat was a bit pricey given the fact that breakfast wasn't included. Breakfast seemed expensive for what it was but it wasn't a show stopper.

Great Modern Hotel

Loved the location. Very close to the town, easy to park, helpful staff, very fresh and clean facilities. we didn’t use the pool, but the idea of an inside and outside bar is good, and the design was inviting. cocktails were tasty. we also walked to the museum, which was 2km each way in the sunshine.

not really interested in a bath in the bedroom, so didn’t use it, but didn’t detract from our trip. we did find that we were woken up at 2am one night, as the people in the room above ours unplugged their bath, ha ha !

We loved our stay!

For us, this hotel had it all: great location (just outside busy touristy center), easy parking (out front for free or for just €10,= /day inside), nice pool, great bar (inside and out), great breakfast, very nice comfy room, mostly at the back which made it quiet. Recommendations for restaurants although they have there own (go to Gran Duques!) and the close proximity to Altamira and the historical center of Santillana del Mar. We loved it!

We made it a sport to find anything we didn't like, just because the hotel is so good. We came up with the use of plastic (in straws, in toiletry packs etc.) Otherwise no negatives: we really, really enjoyed our stay!
