Hotel was dated and worn and view from room over flat roof was grim.

Dining in bar

Breakfast poor and badly organised. Hot food was lukewarm and many items were hard and dry. Staff stood about instead of attending to guests, Staff stood in front of coffee machine. Layiout of food mixed up and unclear.

Exactly what we needed and would stay again.

The location was perfect for central Inverness. The rooms are clean and modern. Price was expensive but competitive given the time of year and prices at similar hotels.

Other areas of the hotel are looking a little tired/ in need of an upgrade. Car parking charges were expensive (£12 per 24hrs) and not clear at time of booking.

Very central location, large room and comfortable kitchen bed

The outside of the building looks very tired. Our room was facing to the river and was a little bit of road noise, however the city view would be noisy due to bars and restaurants. We had another couple complaining about the street noise

Verblijf was echt niet zijn geld waard!! Ik wil hierover een klacht indienen

De accommodatie was niet schoon . Meubels op de kamer waren plakkerig en vies. Het meubilair in de eetzaal was zo versleten dat er stukken aan je broek zaten. Heb er foto’s van gemaakt, het was echt niet oké

Schlafen mitten in Partymeile, in alten miefenden Zimmer zu überhöhten Preisen

Immerhin gab es Verständnis für unsere Reklamation und Frühstück kostenlos. Das entschädigt jedoch nicht die negativen Aspekte

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer lauten Partymeile mit Pubs, die bis 3 Uhr nachts laute (sehr laute) Partymusik gespielt haben. Zusätzlich hat das Hotel auch die Fenster an der oberen Ende mit irgendwelchen Devices zur Zwangsbelüftung ausgestattet, die dazu führen, dass die Fenster den Schall von der Straße überhaupt nicht reduzieren, siehe Foto. Es ist genauso wie schlafen mit offenen Fenstern und das bei einer Party mit vielen betrunken Menschen, lauter Musik und Motorgeräuschen. Die Nacht war ein Horror.. Vom Hotel angebotenen Ohrstöpsel werden euch nicht helfen. Dazu sind die Zimmer und das Interier schon längst veraltet und es mieft sehr unangenehm. Das alles gab es zum teuersten Preis, den wir in Schottland überhaupt zahlen mussten. Leider hatten wir keine Möglichkeit umzubuchen. Die Stadt war komplett ausgebucht.

Inverness Gem

The view from the room was splendid. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was close to CoOp and Halal food options, so that was a big plus as well. Also, hotel is walking distance from the railway station, so that tick another box as well. All in all, great value for money.

The overall experience of the hotel was lovely and inviting. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was in a good location for the town centre. It was good to have on site parking although this is quite limited spaces.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our room, being described as compact we didn't realize it would be that small. It really should only be for a single occupancy as getting in & out of bed was quite an experience when bed is up against a wall. Wardrobe space was very small. It seemed to be an adjoining room as there was a connecting door ( although locked) which unfortunately for us that room occupied a very noisy guest

Poor quality for the price and far too noisy. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Breakfast was good. The room was large.

En-suite was small to compared to the large room size and the sink was so small and shallow, I could just about get a glass underneath to fill with water. No chance of the kettle in the room fitting under so had to fill a few glasses to top up the kettle. Our room was across from a very noisy bar, even after closing the windows and vents, the noise of people shouting and motorbikes driving around kept me awake most of the night. People were still hanging around outside the bar until around 2.45 am. The hotel needs more insulating at the windows to keep the noise out. The dining room was extremely dated with really old carpeting and fabric peeling from most of the dining chairs. The price we paid to stay in that hotel, you would think that the dining room would be a comfortable place to eat breakfast.

Disappointingly poor value for money.

The breakfast, the helpfulness of the staff. The location. How I was able to leave my luggage before and after check in.

The room was very noisy. Both from inside the hotel and outside the hotel. The room was also quite cold with no obvious means to heat it up.

I like the fact that the Room was clean

Breakfast too expensive for what was offered, the staff tried to scam me and pay twice. When comfronted they said are not in charge of payment.

Overpriced and underdelivered. Definitely, the low point of our tour of Scotland. Never again will we book a Mecure Hotel.

Fun but noisy

The location was good and bad great in the centre of the pubs and restaurants but no sound proofing on the windows. It’s great if you don’t mind not getting much sleep.

Walking distance to train station

The inside area of the hotel ha an old carpet full of stains. when I saw that I almost walked out. Very bad impression. The room has only one (1) electrical outlet to charge phones and there isn’t any facial tissues in the bathroom. the management cautioned guests that they may choose a mat for the shower as it is slippery. the soap dispenser in shower has too short of a neck to distribute soap. No ventilation in the bathroom.

A bit overpriced for quality/comfort..

Breakfast was amazing.

The property was in a great location. Though, we’ve stayed on a Saturday and it was so noisy outside. People coming out from nightclubs were shouting and this happened till 4-5 in the morning.
