Un Icono de Rio de Janeiro

Un hotel de principios del 1900 . Una reliquia que merece ser visitada. Excelente mantenimiento del mismo. Una piscina impresionante con agua climatizada. Agradezco mucho el gesto que tuvieron en hacerme un upgrade en la reserva que tenia. Nos dieron una suite con vista al mar excepcional.

Lo que no me gusto no tiene nada que ver con el hotel ya que es un icono de Rio. El tema es Copacabana. Muy sucia las calles, gente durmiendo en las calles. Es una lastima

Fantastic- highly recommend. Make sure you say yes to the tea in arrival- it’s exceptionally good!

Excellent facilities and staff. Every single detail was perfect and our stay was very special. We look forward to returning again in the future. If you’re wondering if it’s worth the money- yes it is (make sure you get an ocean view room)

O café da manhã excelente, a localização, dos funcionários atenciosos e prestativos, os restaurantes ótimos, no geral excelente o hotel.

Acesso com escadas, acho que deveria estar com condições melhores de acessibilidade.

My Fall vacation

The hotel was great. The breakfast was the best. Did the hotel tour, and it was outstanding.

I didn't like the fact that you had to cross a major street to get to the beach, but that wasn't a problem.

Probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at.

Attention to detail was excellent. Service was incredible. Lots of very thoughtful small touches. Cipriani one of the best meals we ever had and the Michelin star is very well deserved. Massage was one of the best I’ve had and other services like haircuts/gym were very good indeed. Pool was gorgeous (although weather sadly meant we didn’t use it).

We did have some problems with meals at the Pérgula restaurant. Slow / mistakes with orders etc. Not clear what was happening there as everything else was excellent.

The only true five star hotel in Rio de Janeiro.

Welcoming from the second you arrive. Accommodated a very early check in and at short notice. The hotel does a great job at being very elegant and sophisticated but doesn’t feel stuffy and has a great atmosphere. If you’re coming to Rio, I wouldn’t have any second thoughts about staying here. I’ve been to Emiliano, Sheraton and Hyatt in Rio and they don’t even come close!

A gift for ourselves.

We felt like in a mother"s house, because despite glamour and luxury, all employes were very simpathetic and kind.

To be advertised about the risk of bed persons in front of hotel or at the beach, make us afraid. Security question must be improved.

Loved the area near the beach, but did not enjoy the hotel staff.

Upon checking in the front desk clerk offered us an opportunity to see another room with a view. She made it sound as if it was another option to the room we had booked. We waited for the room to be cleaned and we saw it and really liked the room. Then when we returned, she informed me that it would be a significant increase in cost! If she had let me know this up front I would not have wanted to see it. After getting our hopes up with the upgraded room, it was a huge let down to stay in a lesser room without the ocean views. Very disappointed with the hotel customer service!

Better customer service! Checked out after the first night to another hotel for the two weeks stay.
