This property did not disappoint! Beautiful oceanfront exactly as advertised. We watched turtles just feet away from sun up to sundown. We also enjoyed seeing monk seals in the bay. Also amazing that this condo is walking distance to extensive beaches that went for miles. Love this place!

The photos don’t do this place justice. It was perfect! Clean, comfortable, and had everything you need to cook, grill by the pool or enjoy the beach. You can walk to aquarium, shops and dining and easy to get to most places on the island. It was truly a gem! Thank you!

Loved this beautiful, well equipped condo. Quiet and friendly complex. Loved sitting on the lanai watching all the turtles. The pool was relaxing. Loved the location, close to some good food, Point break pizza is delish. The host was so gracious and accommodating. Will be our future go to place in Maui. The A/C was lovely when needed.

We had an amazing stay! The place was very clean, updated, and very private. The views were incredible, and we saw turtles every day. There is ac in every room and two bathrooms were very clean and updated. The location was great as it wasn't in very populated area. We will definable be back!!!

We came to Maui to bring my step mother's ashes to be spread with my Dad's. She had to be in care facility in Oregon as she could not take care of herself. I had promised to bring her back,

Maalaea is my favorite area and this kind of is my favorite building. The unit is just lovely and the view is amazing being on the top floor. Highly recommend.

The complex is well run and clean. The room looks right onto the water and we could see whales from our room. The biggest surprise was a small beach on the property that is maybe 100 yards from the room. At sunset about 10 sea turtles would beach themselves for sleeping. We watched the creatures almost every night. A real bonus. The only draw back is there are only a couple of places to dine at within a reasonable walk. We did a Costco run and we cooked a bunch of meals in the room. Good value and a winner.

This property has everything you need, it’s roomy, clean and comfortable. It is in a great location, centrally located with easy access. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, overlooking the ocean and within walking distance to sugar beach, the harbour and Maui ocean center.

The condominium and hosts deserve five stars plus. The view is spectacular. An added treat was seeing the sea turtles from our balcony. The condominium is beautifully and tastefully decorated. We ate and shopped at the nearby restaurants and shops, which were within walking distance and so convenient. We walked to the swimming/walking beach once, however, we couldn’t wait to get back to the condominium. The hosts were always quick to respond. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay a night or two longer! If we ever go back, this is where we will stay, hands down.

The property is amazing-located on a dead end with several other condos. The pool seems small at first, but there were multiple days when we had the pool to ourselves, and on days we didn’t there may have been 3-4 others at the pool. It’s very quiet, which was a huge plus for us. After exploring the island and being in crowds, it was nice to come back to a quiet and relaxing area.
Speaking of the area- don’t let this quiet little secluded spot fool you. There is a harbor, Maui Ocean Center, Maalaea Harbor Shops, a General Store that serves breakfast/lunch and has great smoothies, and at least 3 restaurants- all within a very short walking distance. On the other end of the road there’s a park with a beach that is also a short walking distance. I walked to both daily- the shops sometimes 2-3 times a day. You can even walk the grass to the shops which makes it even quicker (great for bringing back Shave ice and fresh cookies from Hula Cookies).
The unit is perfect! We saw sea turtles daily and a few eels. The waves were very rough, but we enjoyed watching the experts snorkeling and fishing. You can walk to the rocks below and view turtles closer in the water, or just view from the room. You can hear the waves and the winds and it’s very relaxing.
The owner thought of everything, and we had no issues or concerns. It’s a great condo-centrally located so exploring the island was easy. This is a very safe area and we wouldn’t hesitate to rent again. Thank you!

The condo was a perfect location for two generations to engage in separate activities on Maui, and had all of the necessary amenities to make our stay very comfortable. The lanai and ocean view were wonderful and having a pool was an extra treat. We will be back when we visit in the future!

This condo is gorgeous and extremely comfortable! The kitchen and baths were generously stocked with cookware and supplies so you feel right at home! AC works well, but open the patio doors to hear the sound of the waves just 50 feet away. Surf or spectate right from your backyard. Centrally located, yet away from the hustle bustle.

Amazing Views, Comfortable Beds
I went to Maui with my mom, aunt, and uncle. The property and unit is absolutely gorgeous. Our master bedroom, and essentially the whole condo except the guest room, faced the water. I can't tell you how many nights I zoned out on the lanai or fell asleep listening to the waves. The property and surrounding properties are well kept, and quiet. No partying, or craziness from bars - it was great. It's also a 4 minute walk down to the harbor, where a lot of the boat tours launch from (including Four Winds Molokini Snorkeling). The kitchen is beautiful and stocked with everything you need and more in terms of cook and bakeware. Plenty of towels, including beach towels, coolers, beach chairs - just a wonderful property. Check in was super easy, parking was convenient (and free, just have to fill out a pass to stick in the window). If you're looking to stay closer to a place with a "larger town feel" and a ton of walkable restaurants or bars, this may not be the best option for you because even though it's only 15 minutes from some busier areas with more restaurants, you'd have to drive there. Drive-wise, Safeway and other restaurant options are about 15 minutes away, which is not bad at all. There are a few restaurants down the street you can walk to, along with a diner that serves breakfast and lunch (diner also has a small bar area to get some drafts or mixed drinks but they close early. If you buy any alcohol from the cooler, you cannot take it with you), Tante's, and some novelty shops. Kind of reminded me of a sleepy harbor town. Only complaint, if you will, would be was that we thought the 2nd bedroom was supposed to have a Queen bed, but it was more like a double or slightly larger than a full. 2 people fit on it comfortably, but I don't think it was a queen. Also, while the window in it faces the mountains and features wooden shades to open and get a breeze, it's located at the front of the condo, so you can hear people walking by/talking in the hallway (rare, but my aunt was paranoid about leaving the window open at night for fear of someone being able to see/break in even though the window probably wouldn't fit a normal sized adult. Right off main thoroughfares to get where you need to go quickly. If you're looking for quiet, peaceful, relaxation, low-key - this is absolutely the place to be, rental-wise! I've saved it to my favorites for the next time I am able to escape.

Fantastic family vacation VRBO
We cannot say enough about our stay in this VRBO condo! Everything was exactly as described. This condo is absolutely beautiful, incredibly comfortable and perfect for a family of four. Such attention to detail in every part of this unit. The view of the ocean is amazing, and the beach nearby was just a short walk or drive, whatever you prefer to do. The pool was typically vacant, so we felt like we had our own private pool. The owner is incredibly responsive and provides all the information you need and more. The kitchen has all the dishes, cookware, and supplies you need. The beautiful upgrades the owner made were icing on the cake. Loved our stay here and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful condo!!
The condo has everything you might need and thensome, it was very well stocked. Very nice mattress and sheets. Not everyone comments on this, but in this case it deserves mentioning. You're so close to the ocean you can't see the beach area, just the ocean from the lania. A couple of nights we sat out there reading our kindles after dark listening to the ocean as we read. Great place! Highly recommend!

Wonderful
This was an excellent place to stay if you want to see the whole island and do lots of things! The condo has everything you need and more (beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, full kitchen). You will need a rental car to explore the island - but this makes an excellent base in the middle. And when you come home from a day of hiking, surfing, or exploring - the lovely balcony and quiet less-touristy area (super quiet - did not hear other tenants at all for 10 days) are relaxing and beautiful. We counted 19 turtles as we walked along the seawall behind the condos one evening. Excellent morning walks along a non-crowded nearby stretch of beach. During COVID, we were especially comfortable to be away from the large hotel crowds and have the option of our own kitchen.

Relaxing and convenient
The property was very comfortable for our family of 4. We loved our view of the ocean and daily visits by turtles. We snorkeled immediately below our unit and swam with the turtles and colorful fish. The kitchen is well stocked and convenient for leisurely meals. We traveled all around the island, during our stay. It was a great home base. We visited while the trade winds were in full force, so it was pretty windy for most of our visit. The winds did keep it cooler, though. We would stay in this same unit again!

Paradise
Rented this condo for 3 grand parents while we stayed in a unit one floor down (which was also great!). The condo was perfect for our parents. It was very open, clean, easy to navigate and well appointed. It was also very comfortable from the spaciousness to the furnishings. The top floor and oceanfront allowed for excellent views of Haleakala and Ma’alea bay for a very relaxing stay. Communication with the property owner was also easy to manage through VRBO. We will definitely seek this condo out for our future visits!

Awesome retreat
From start to finish, this was a great property. Here is just a partial list of what we loved: Lots of safe parking, grounds were perfectly groomed and pool was very clean. Lawn on the ocean side was fun to walk and search for turtles, condo was VERY well stocked with ANYTHING you might need. Even had a cooler and lawn chair. Kitchen is perfect. To be honest, we spent 90% of our time on the patio enjoying the view. We would stay here again in a minute. Selfishly, I hope nobody reads this or the condo might become one of the most popular properties in Maui and we won't be able to get future reservations. :) Property owner was quick to respond to any question. Mahalo!

This was our 3rd stay at Susan’s condo! Condo was absolutely spotless! ThIs property is everything it’s represented to be in the pictures and more! I could go on and on! Susan was very accommodating, answering all our questions in a timely manner.
Navigating the Hawaii pre travel requirements Covid testing wasn’t an issue! Even testing and traveling to the Big Island wasn’t an issue either.
Most stores and restaurants were open as were the beaches, parks and hiking trails. With all the precautions in place we were very comfortable whereever we went!!

CONDO review: WOW is the first word that came into our minds when we entered Bill and Susan’s condo. It is truly a 5 star rating. The pictures provided for viewing are truly reflective of the unit. Everything and we mean everything was TOP NOTCH in this condo…from the appliances, the furniture, the linen and bath towels (there are an abundance of towels) and the cutlery and dishware, Bill and Susan DID NOT skimp in the quality. By the way, check out the painting in the dinning area, it is dedicated to Bill and Susan by the artist.
The view was absolutely breathtaking. Our 8 days stay was during whale season and each day we saw whales from the lanai. Our stay also coincided with a full moon and my God what a site it was from the lanai.
LOCATION of the condo review: Centrally located between the airport, Lahiana/Kaanapali, Paia and Up Country (Kula). We recommended a drive to upcountry, one of our favorite places……lush and amazing view of the ocean from top of a mountain. We especially appreciated it was only a few miles to Whole Foods, Down to Earth, Costco, Safeway, Target and Walmart.
Review of owners: AMAZING!!!! Through our fault, we printed the passcode and the address of the condo and lost it while picking up groceries. Afraid the condo would be robbed, we called Bill and Susan and they both immediately called us back with a temporary solution for the day and the next day got new passcodes.

Beautiful ocean front condo in a wonderful location
This condo is a gorgeous property in an outstanding location! The view from the lanai is stunning. Many whale boat would tour in the harbor just off our lanai. We could find the whales by watching where the tour boats went. The kitchen was great, the AC worked very well and there was almost always a wonderful breeze.

A Maalaea Gem
Well appointed and updated condo steps from the ocean. Situated within easy distance of Kihei and Lahaina, this condo is for folks looking to be away from the crowds but not secluded. Susan was a pleasure to deal with. She made our stay very enjoyable and hassle free. The unit was exactly as advertised. Very convenient to excursion boats, the harbor and a number of restaurants. We were easily able to navigate the entire island by car while avoiding the crowds. Perfect for older couples or those visiting without kids. We were very pleased with our decision to stay here. Definitely recommend it.
