Overall, an amazing stay. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing location. Conveniently located close to Safari locations. Clean. Lot of open spaces for kids to play. Right next to the Kosi river. Staff is very courteous. Breakfast is delicious.

Kosi restaurant takes a minimum of 20 minutes to serve a dish. No lifts in the building hence slightly inconvenient for families with infant.

OK but we wouldn't come back

We loved the gardens and river location. Our room was spacious and quiet. The bar/restaurant staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. I would like to particularly thank Anamika and Mr Tara who took excellent care of us.

The balcony was not clean and especially the chairs and table. Our room was not serviced until requested at the end of our first day. The package included a welcome drink, but my husband, who was delayed sorting the luggage was not offered one and even then I was barely given the chance to drink it before being ushered off to our room. One of the blinds was broken. Compared to other places we stayed at, it was poor value for money.

Overall a nica stay. Location was good. Very nice breakfast buffet and a lavish high tea Staff was humble. The river on the back qas really good.

We booked premium room. When we reached at hotel we were shown a two bedroom cottage. They told you will get one bedroom and the second bedroom might be given to another guess which was totally ridiculous. Note for booking.com - please mention that there premium rooms are not independent rooms, instead they are part of a shared 2bhk apartment.

Amazing resort with the best food, humble staff who would pamper you and make tour stay memorable.

A large, beautifully designed resort with wide variety of flora and fauna. The resort has all the amenities that is required all the way from indoor games to swimming pool. Added bonus is the riverside deck areas which houses the inhouse specialty restaurants and bar. We stayed in superior room which was on the 1st floor and had views of the amazing garden. Had gone to celebrate a birthday for which the resort had provided a private decorated sit out area. It was decorated with lights and we had the best time enjoying our private candle light dinner. The resort was also helpful in arranging last minute requirements of arranging jungle safari and attending to all our requests and queries throughout. Special thanks to Hayad from the F&B team for arranging our private dinner and Manmeet from the Safari team for the amazing safari experience.

Property doesn’t have a gym. The rooms did not have a fridge which we believe for the price that we pay for should be included as basic.

it was a memorable stay .

The food was splendid with adequate variety and to our liking. The location is great. The staff was very co operative and helpful. liked the idea of evening high tea and the music etc. The guy on the guitar did a great job in entertaining the guests. Actually we had booked the hotel rooms but found them to be stuffy due to people smoking in the corridor. Our complaint with the reception was appreciated and we were immediately upgraded to cottage which looking back should have been our first choice. For families, going for cottage makes a better sense than booking hotel rooms which we feel need some improvement and renovation. Overall it was great stay.

Hotel rooms need renovation. There should be separate room areas allocated for smoking and non smoking persons.

Cared for in the wilderness

Our stay was very comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. We enjoyed the wonderful food served there and dipping in the pool in the afternoon was very relaxing. Overall, a very good experience.

Difficult to say. We actually liked everything about the resort. Nothing to complain about. :-)

Simply Splendid!

Location of the property is awesome and the river side is serene. Garden is well laid and the resort has dormitory for traveler's supporting staff such as personal driver at a reasonable cost. Staff is well trained, polite, very courteous and the room service is good. Rooms are nicely located. The room interiors & bathrooms require remodeling to match the resort's grace. The stays are very enjoyable. I booked for two nights initially but extended my stay for one more night.

Wonderful stay @ Riverview Retreat

Resort is really at a prime location, at riverside with access to river bed, and a very well maintained property. Evening high tea had great snacks, which we enjoyed sitting on riverside deck. Ample space and activities including swimming pool for kids and adults. Dinner n breakfast buffet were very good. Overall it was a relaxing n enjoyable stay at riverview retreat. Highly recommend for family. Family room we got was very spacious and a duplex, with a large common balcony.

Family room , although spacious, had no views. Should have opted for cottages.

Exceeded our expectations!

It is one of the most thoughtful and aesthetically built properties i have seen across India. The blend of comfort with nature is stunning. I traveled with family and had a great time, the service was exceptional and the attitude of the staff was very polite and helpful, who were very prompt to provide help when we had an incident with my kid hurting his finger. Highly recommended!

Decent place to stay with family or friends

The overall property is made well and rustic. Full of greens and opening up to the Kosi river. The restaurant location is the best, and decks to sit and chat and have tea are good too. The pool is decent in size with the kids pool attached to the same pool.

The cottage looked very damaged and the upholstery in the common areas was dirty. We had to get it changed with the kids being around. For the price we paid, we'd expect the place to be very clean which wasn't the case. The food quality was not up to the mark for the price being asked. The Indian food was just ok. One would expect quality and tasty food in such high prices. Buffet menu was also very limited

Excellent Riverside Resort

The ambience of the resort was outstanding. The hotel was well maintained and had all amenities one could possibly experience in a riverside resort.

Very good

They have a very nice location next to Kosi river. The bartender Surendra Rawat made our stay delighted. He was that person who was really one of the best hotelier I met after a long time.

Their front office staff was not so friendly and there are no activities which is truly required if you are going to stay in Corbett.
