Had a wonderful time! The house is so charming, the front porch and outside shower are a dream. Lovely historic cottage, and is the perfect vibe for what Rehobeth is. Walking distance to everything and can’t wait to go back!

Great property in a quiet neighborhood. A quick two block walk to the beach. The walk to the main part of the broad walk was a bit far but this allowed for a less crowded and quieter beach experience.

Great stay in this Rehoboth Beach Cottage. New comfortable beds and cold AC downstairs. Upstairs rooms with 5 twin beds was warmer but a portable A/C and fan helped a lot. Maybe bring an additional fan. Cleanliness in a few areas could be better and the cottage is showing some wear. Old coffee filter was moldy, dirty wet laundry was in wash and not started, dishes were wet and not put up. Minor things. Book needs updating of local contact, but message via VRBO worked great and was responded to promptly. Kitchen is well equipped, almost too much ‘stuff’ and careful much isn’t microwave safe. Screened front porch was an awesome hang out spot all week.

It's hard to find vintage cottages like this anymore. We had a great stay.

What a perfect location for a fall stay. We stayed for 6 weeks and everything was perfect. We walked to the boardwalk, the lake, and downtown. The house is a quaint old Rehoboth original cottage with many charming touches. An older but pleasant home.

A very charming and whimsy beach house to say the least! We loved the location which was walkable to everything. Comfortable beds too! We had an issue with the heat not working but the owner was quick to resolve it. We had heaters to get us through until then so the heating system must be quirky. We were toasty warm after that. I would have given this rental 5 stars but it was not clean when we got there. We had to sweep the walkway in to the house which was covered with leaves and twigs. Same with the back patio. We also had to vacuum the black dog hair off of the furniture and empty what was missed in the bathroom trash baskets. Yes it is dog friendly but we have doodles and they do not shed. We were a little annoyed to see black hairs everywhere. Once we cleaned it up to our liking we were comfortable. We recommend this cute and cozy place and we would return despite the few issues.

The location was great. The beds were pretty comfortable. The rest of the furniture was acceptable. If I had one complaint, it would be the general maintenance of the property. There were light fixtures, hanging from the ceiling, that needed to be reattached. There is no handrail to get into or out of the house, and several people commented on that. There are a couple of holes in the boards on the front steps. Overall, we had a wonderful time, but I would agree it is the quintessential rustic beach house. We had a pull several bikes out of the garage in order to find two that were rideable. The interior of the house was much better than exterior. We are Exterior just needs a little Lovin.

Older comfortable house. Great screened in porch. Outside could use some sprucing up but did not affect our stay.

We loved our week in your historic cottage. It was charming and comfortable and had everything you could want for a relaxing week at the beach!!

Loved the house and area. Location is great. You can walk to the beach and restaurants.
Inside is in good shape.
House needs some sprucing up outside and there is too much 'stuff' on the porch.
I would stay there again.

Location is great, about a 10 minute walk to the beach and to the Main Street with many bars, restaurants, and shops!
Home is as expected, nice little backyard for our pups to run around. Everything was clean, kitchen has everything you would need to cook!
Beach chairs, bikes, and wagon in the garage which is a nice perk.
Overall, great experience!

Two families stayed at the home between lacrosse tournaments in MD and DE. The location is great you can walk to the beach. There are many bikes to ride, and wagons to take your gear to the beach provided. The house is clean and was big enough to 4 adults and full sized teens. The host was responsive, and the experience was great.

The weather was hideous and the owner tried to help us but the heating system did not turn on. We tried to make do with fireplace fired and the owner sent space heaters, but in the end he was great about refunding our money and we went home.

This comfortable, nearly 100 year old cottage is truly a step back to the old days at the beach. Located on a quiet, street close the the beach, it was an easy walk for 70 year olds.
The washer and dryer ARE on the main floor and the kitchen is totally stocked with ample supplies.
It would have been nice if we could have opened some windows, especially upstairs. A truly relaxing vacation was enjoyed by all. I'd list it as one of my favorite spots.

Had all of the necessities. Outdoor shower was a bit dusty and bug-laden but functioning. Great proximity to beach and overall great location. Loved the bikes and puzzles. One of the upstairs rooms was pretty hot and TV was broken but we kept it cool enough w/ AC cranked. Front of house door handle kept falling off so kids were always worried about locking themselves out. Could use a bit of dusting off outside but overall a terrific place to stay. Gas stovetop is a bit tricky to get comfortable with. The ignitor malfunctions a bit. Fence doors must be rigged to stay closed so watch your pups when they are outside.

Older property with a bit of charm
Overall it was good, could have been a bit cleaner in the edges. Beds for us were a bit firm but some may like it. AC upstairs does not match the down stairs.

Walkable Rehoboth
We loved the area and the house was in a perfect location. Walking dogs along Silver Lake (which was very close) and on the Boardwalk (2 very long blocks away) was our daily routine. We loved it.

Lovely cottage, great location
Absolutely charming "Old Rehoboth" cottage. Loved that the owner kept many period details and furnished it with period appropriate pieces and decor. The lot is private with a nice rear garden. We walked everywhere we wanted to go in downtown Rehoboth. It was March, but we still enjoyed the fabulous wrap-around screened porch. Well equipped kitchen, and altogether a comfortable place to stay. The online description is mostly accurate, but one of the downstairs bedrooms has a king bed, not a queen as described online, so we did have to go out and buy some king size sheets. Would absolutely stay here again!

Charming, Cozy & Comfy
This historic cottage had everything we needed for an off season getaway.
Lance was extremely responsive when we had trouble with the key and tv. He managed to solve all any issue we had both quickly and without fuss.
Even with very cool and breezy days, we enjoyed being able to walk easily to town and to the beach. The location is great.
This home was ideal for us. I so enjoyed it that I hope we will return there soon.

Okay. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean, but sand on floors and couple of beds. Stove top hardline dangerous as two burners did not dependably light. House very musty created allergic rraction for 2 of us. Shower tiny but we're all thin so ok for us.

All the charm and convince of Rehoboth!
I grew up going to Rehoboth 40 some years. We come back every year to continue the tradition for our child. This home is a short walk to the beach and great restaurants. It has everything you need for the trip to the beach or for a great dinner party staying in. Charming and cozy. The perfect setup up for a relaxing beach stay with family and friends. The house is historic which is part of what I loved it reminded my of the Renoboth I knew as a kid.

We liked it!
If you like the following things, you will enjoy this house:
* a big screened porch with lots of places to sit, a table to eat at, and breezes from two directions (it's wraparound porch!)
* old-house charm
* a firm mattress (choose the back 1st-floor bedroom) or a soft mattress (choose the front bedroom)
* a kitchen you can really cook in (it has everything you'd need, including a good coffee-maker, many serving bowls and pots & pans, knives that are actually sharp, and lots of dishes)
* a spacious & nicely-kept outdoor shower
* fat-tire bikes in all sizes (beach chairs too)
* proximity to the beach (two long blocks, a pleasant & easy walk)
* a lake nearby
We had a great stay. As others have mentioned, the AC works less well on the 2nd floor (where the twin beds are). We almost put in the window-unit that was resting on the floor of one upstairs bedroom, but we were able to keep it comfortable by cranking up the central AC and opening the 1st-floor doors to let in warm air for the 1st-floor people.
Our dog loved watching the rabbits from the screened porch. (Be careful letting your dog into the backyard unsupervised. There's a small gap in the fence that allowed our German shepherd to escape into the neighbor's yard). We thought there might be smells or wear-&-tear from previous dog tenants, but there was no evidence of that at all, the house looked and smelled fine. The house was nicely cleaned for our arrival and very comfortable for the 7 of us.
A big plus: the owner is very friendly and communicative. We had a couple of questions before and during our stay, and he answered them right away.

Great Location and Cute Home
We enjoyed our week in Rehoboth Beach and the location of this house is perfect. Less than 10 minute walk to the beach and 15 minutes to the boardwalk. Having the bikes, wagon, beach toys, boogie boards were all terrific. The outdoor shower was a huge bonus that we loved. We also loved the screened in porch. The house is very nice in many ways but is ready for a refresh in paint and furniture. We all fully recognize that no doubt it will increase the rental cost but it would be worth it.

Misrepresented
The cottage and porch were not very clean. A cabinet door was hanging of its hinges in the kitchen.
The parking permits were not there and we had to pay out of pocket for two days.
The screens were ripped in places on the porch.
When we contacted the broker (owner?) we did not get satisfaction until we called repeatedly.
The downstairs bathroom had no shower head. The outdoor shower was disgusting.
The good points were a nice neighborhood, easy walk to the beach, air conditioner worked. There were beach chairs and bikes available.

Charming cottage in great location
This is such a lovely historic cottage! There was plenty of space for our group of 7 (two couples, two single adults, and 1 dog). The kitchen was well supplied with plates, cups, cutlery, cooking equipment, etc., and the screened porch was the perfect place to relax and chat in the evenings. We had a couple of minor issues - no toilet paper on arrival and parking passes that never materialized - but over all we had a wonderful stay.

Loved this charming beach cottage!
Our entire family loved the charm and amenities as well as the proximity to downtown and the beach- yet we enjoyed being on a quiet street. We will definitely rent again.

Incredible Location, Charming, Dog-Friendly House
What an amazing neighborhood - just a few blocks from the beach and very accessible to the boardwalk and shops in Rehoboth. Easy parking, very friendly neighbors (many yearlong residents), amazing screened porch, fabulous outdoor shower with big backyard for dog. It was so wonderful to have the beach bikes and beach chairs available for use. Wifi worked well, which was important because we were working remotely. Comfy beds with extra blankets, which was important because it was unexpectedly cold during our stay. Would definitely return to this house!

Clean, comfortable cottage in excellent location
Great location - within walking distance to beach and shops but in a nice South Rehoboth neighborhood. Charming cottage.

A perfect little getaway
This is a very charming historic home. It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood in South Rehoboth with a very easy short walk (about 2 blocks) to the beach and boardwalk. This home is comfortably decorated with a well stocked kitchen, modern appliances and a gas stove. There are 2 nice sized bedrooms with queen beds on the main floor with a bathroom between them. The bathroom is modernized with a claw foot tub which we did not use because we prefer to take showers. There are 2 bedrooms, with 3 twins in one and 2 twins in the other, upstairs also with a bathroom between them. This upstairs bathroom has a stall shower. So for us, our only inconvenience was having one shower for 2 adults and 3 teenage girls. It also has a spacious screened in porch with lots of outdoor seating. We enjoyed this home because of its historic character and its comfortable furnishings. Thank you for accommodating us!

Nice location property is in bad need of updates and upstairs air is not functional
The location was nice and the bikes but the baths and upstairs a/c were just not adequate for the price. Kitchen was dirty

Charming House - Great location
The previous reviews were spot-on. This is a historic property, with all the quirks and character of an older home. The house was clean, well-maintained, and has a lot of character. We could walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes (at the pace of 7&10 year olds), and made it to the boardwalk for ice cream in about 15 minutes. Nice side streets for walking the dog in the morning or riding bikes with kids. The screened in porch was awesome to hang out in early in the morning or in the evening. Overall a great experience if you appreciate the charm of the throwback era in Rehoboth. The owners were very responsive, and we would definitely stay here again.

Cute historic house
This house was super cute. Check in process was easy and the property manager was very responsive. It was great to have two bedrooms on the first floor. Fenced in backyard was perfect for our pups!

Step back in time
I would start with if you are looking for a new and up to date cottage you won't like here. If you want to step back in time with a vintage cottage from 1927, then you found the right place. The decore was kept vintage ( your going to love it). It still has a TV and the internet but you are going to enjoy sitting on the screened in porch. Having dinner at the dinning nook. We coked most nights and the place is well provided for that. It also is pet friendly which was very accommodating. Lance, I want to thank you for the bowl of food and water for them when we arrive. It was very thoughtful. The area is very quiet and nice just to go for a walk to the nearby lake or of coarse the beach just 2 blocks away. The bed was very comfortable and spent many evenings just relaxing in the living room. It was only my wife and I and the dogs but we truly enjoyed the home. The claw foot tub was different but fit the record. We decided to try a bubble bath. When was the last time you tried that. You can also get a shower in the other bathroom. The host, Lance or Colby were as helpful as you could ask. A very excellent host.

A pleasant stay at Rehoboth!
We enjoyed a nice long weekend at Rehoboth in this cozy cottage! Everything was exactly as expected after reading the description and all the reviews. The screened in porch is the highlight of the house, perfect for early morning coffee, afternoon relaxing or evening gathering. The house is truly a charming cottage inside and out. The decor, claw footed tub, attic rooms, kitchen dinnerware all make you feel comfy and cozy. Considering the multiple demolition notices in the area it seems that these cute cottages could soon become a thing of the past which made this property all the more enjoyable.
Yes, the dining table is a bit snug for the space - you have to play musical chairs and designate a person to get things. Yes, the upstairs shower is a bit small and could use a bathmat. Yes, the backyard could use some attention and the latch on the gate needs to be fixed. But we knew all this going into the rental and were able to work with it. Only thing we didn't know is that two of the twin beds upstairs had been merged to create a king, had I known that we would of shuffled the sleeping arrangements a bit so grandma didn't have to go up the steep steps as much.
Really we couldn't have asked for a nicer place. The house is close to the beach, close to downtown, the kitchen was well supplied, the neighborhood is nice, the owner responds quickly and there is a lot of space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again if its available.

Perfect property for our family.
My son and daughter in law specifically requested trying to rent this house again. It’s our 4th time in it. We have stayed at 2 others that were nice but this is their favorite. Of course the weather being perfect didn’t hurt
