Totale Ruhe und Erholung mit herzlicher Betreuung in einer wunderschönen Region

Unterkunft mit Top-Qualität, herzlicher Kontakt zu den Vermietern, problemlose Mitnahme von zwei Katzen, absolut ruhige und friedliche Unterkunft fernab von Touristenrummel und nah genug, um alles schnell mit dem Rad zu erreichen

Dass wir leider nicht noch länger bleiben konnten :)

I'm sure this is a lovely place to stay in the summer when you would spend most of the time outside

setting and surrounding countryside was lovely

cooking facilities were not as described - no oven and the microwave was on a shelf over 2 metres high neccessitating standing on a chair to reach furniture layout was not well thought out and trying to get cutlery out of a cupboard the other side of the kitchen area with a dining table in between was difficult sofa faces completely the wrong way

one of our best stays during our 3 month holiday in Europe

beautifully situated only a few meters from water. Very quiet and apartment had absolutely everything one would need. Owners were very helpful and approachable.

A Spring week and a half in Poppenwier

The one bedroom cottage is warm and cosy. Whilst close to the street, the cottage is very quiet with double glazing and central heating. The loungeroom has a wonderful sunny afternoon aspect. The kitchen and bathroom\laundry is well appointed.

Superb

The location is very quiet and calm, people are super friendly and you are in the middle of the nature - channels and fields. You can go fishing or paddling, or take a bicycle and ride through the fields. The house is old but renovated and everything is super clean and with attention to the detail. You have all that you might need for cooking in the kitchen. All in all the atmosphere is really relaxing, we directly felt at home there. The owners are always around in case you need anything or have a question, but they are busy with their stuff and do never disturb you.

The internet connection could have been better, but it was no problem anyway... And the description is wrong what comes to the pool - there is no pool there, so it has to be corrected. We didn't miss it though...

Great location, really cosy cottage (renovated fairly recent, in good condition) in a nice small picturesque village. A good base to discover Friesland.
