Restorative, quiet and felt like I was on holiday

Lovely location and suited our needs well. Impressed with recent works in the bathroom and the kitchen.

Difficult to put back rubbish bin out over some steps. We dealt with this by taking our rubbish home with us.

Nice but needs a good clean and things repaired before each occupant

Lovely location

Needed a good clean, hoover was full of previous occupants dirt, never seen so many cobwebs in a property, the handle for the bedroom window was broken and finally the bedroom could have been better - too many large furniture pieces making the bedroom cramped.

Cosy cottage in wonderful picturesque location

The cottage was well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The new shower room is lovely! There were fabulous views from.the back garden, which had a table and chairs for dining al fresco. I was able to take my dog and he felt very at home.

The second bedroom was very small, but, having said that,vthe single bed was really comfortable and I slept well every night.

lovely little place suitable for 2 people.

well equipped cottage in central location while being quiet

property has started allowing dogs to stay there so there was a strong doggie smell. no fire starter pack which was a shame

The bed.

No toilet roll the garden was gross the cottage was very grubby no wood as promised loose floor tile toilet seat broken needs a better housekeeper and lots of tlc

Cosy little Gem.

This little Gem is in a superb location. Nice and peaceful but not too far from the village of Porlock. Clean and cosy, well equipped, suoer comfy beds.. Ideal for a base for Exploring Exmoor. Would definitely return.

Exmoor delivered despite rip-off sub-standard accommodation..

B/fast n/a...self catering. Location places you close to amenities and local walks. Porlock is a comfortable 10min walk which has good range of shops and food outlets. Cottage was warm with adequate room for two. Lovely views from front front windows.

Garden a mess. No recycling. No wifi. Welcome mat most unwelcoming. Downstairs smells of dog. No scart lead. No logs. Hob & oven temperamental. Historic faults (various) reported in victims book left undone. Pantry a mess. Immersion tank loud enough to wake you. Loo seat ill-fitting and loose. Wardrobe & chest in dbl bed dwarfs room. Sgl room no lamp. Suggested parking op bungalows prevents kerbside collector vehicle access (and poss blue-light veh).

Very nice place for holiday - despite some minor issues - I would recommend it

The best thing is the location. It is a wonderful place. I really appreciated the privacy & comfort of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped, Bedrooms are comfortable & quiet (you can hear just pleasant sound of stream)

As a first - there have been provided incorrect information about the size of accommodation. On the website is 130 square metres. Probably erroneous conversion from square feet. The size is actually about 50 square metres. Another minor problem was with the very dirty oven - we prefered not to use it (no intention to clean someone else's oven during my holiday; O) The stairs to the bedrooms are not suitable for disabled/elderly people

Comfortable cottage for one or two people. Nicely furnished. Very comfortable bed

It would be too small for more than two people really and it was really cold when I arrived. The heating could do with improving.
