It is a gem!

Contact with the owner was a blast, we got every potential question answered before arrival without even asking. Location is amazing. In the apartament we got more than needed - the owner even thought about umbrella! :-) We will be back for sure.

Superb

Superb location. Loved you could close off the bedroom to the main living area. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony. We were very comfortable during our 4 night stay.

Could do with a cutting knife and more dishwasher & laundry tablets for longer stays.

Feel the love in Heraklion

I had flat C on 3rd floor. It's a modern decorated flat. The building is a renovated old town house which is taken care of really well and I certainly felt that. At first the missing elevator seemed to make me worry but that did not prove to be a problem for me. As I was working remotely, the WiFi was stable with good BW all day. The TV had netflix and was also possible to make wireless screen share from my laptop which proved very useful. The kitchen had almost all utensils I would need; certainly I could make my breakfast and cook my rice or pasta - no problems. The bed is super comfortable, my sleep was deep and restful. I really appreciated the walk-in shower as well! The house is just by the 3 lions square at the centre of Heraklio city. Within 5 minutes I had all cafes, bars, supermarkets, shops and travel agents at my feet. Finally the flat's balcony has views over the town and down to the sea & surrounding mountains. Many thanks to Stavrianna for her help, advice and for always swiftly responding to any of my needs giving the best solutions. I enjoyed the Cretan treats that were waiting for me in the flat. Certainly I will be looking to come back to this wonderful house.

Modern apartment in the heart of Heraklion

The place is located in the heart of the historic town, perfectly close to a lot of restaurants and bars. The design of the apartment is modern with attention to the details.

The bed and pillows could be more comfortable.

very nice and cosy apartment, situated in old town center with balcony, well ecquiped, confortable bed and evrithing was just front of us

next time I will look for apartment in 1st floor since the steps on 3th was quite challenge for me

A perfect stay in the heart of Heraklion

Perfect apartment in the city centre. The host was very responsive, they sent me all the details for check-in and the apartment. I travelled solo and had the smoothest check-in and stay. Best part: the welcome drink surprise at the fridge. The location is great, right at the centre, close to nightlife but not disturbed by it. The building has been restored with great taste, I truly felt like a local here! Stavrianna, Thank you so much for the perfect stay :)

Lovely little apartment with balcony, great location to explore Heraklion.

Great location, super comfy bed. Ultra-helpful owner gave us advice on best places to go.

Nowhere to charge laptop/iPad if you left the apartment because the electricity cut off as soon as you left.

Beautiful design and central location in town

New and spotless clean apartment, everything we needed for our stay including washer, dryer and decent wifi speed (40mbps). easy check in with door code, friendly and helpful host who responded quickly, welcome drink and water; lots of shops and restaurants nearby

just be aware that there is no elevator in the building. it’s in the pedestrian zone no car can come in. could be noisy at night.

Beautiful and stylish apartment in the middle of everything

Location of the apartment is perfect in the middle of the town with tons of restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment itself is just beautiful - newly renovated and very stylish with an eye for detail. Fully equipped with everything needed. What I loved was also all the recommendations for places to eat, drink and to visit which we received upfront. Really helped us a lot and made the stay very special (as we found places which we otherwise maybe would not have found). Thanks a lot, would definitely stay here again!

Would have been good to have coffee tabs for the whole stay (and not just two tabs for two people for two nights) as it is quite inconvenient to buy a large pack of tabs when only staying for two nights and travelling with light package. But this is really a very minor thing!

Exceptional

everything was perfect. the very centeral location but very quiete and comfortable. extremely clean, functional, cozy, stylish, made with care and super beautiful. huge balcony with nice terrace. self check-in and check-out were very convenient too. we were especially happy to have Stavrianna as our host. she sent us a detailed guide on food and attractions. we followed it twice and were absolutelly happy. Stavrianna told us about tradiotional cretan breakfast - bugatsa. it was the discovery of the journey!! thanks a lot!

we lived on the third floor. very tiny stairs without elevator. it was a little bit tricky to carry up our bags to the appts. but it's a very small minus compared to all the pluses of these gorgeous apartment with a great host

Overall great experience!

Very beautiful, modern studio. I really appreciated having some water available in the kitchen. Super cozy and comfortable. It’s up three floors- stair access only which I didn’t mind. Amazing location.

Glass bathroom doors are not great for privacy.

Perfect base in Heraklion

- the terrasse is big and very nice to enjoy the sun - very pretty and modern appartement - location right in the city center is perfect - all windows have electrical blinds - good wifi - very nice owners providing a lot of recommendations/ tips for a great stay

- the pillows were too big for my taste. I would have appreciated some small ones - you need to wait 10min to take a hot shower - limited space for luggage

Highly Recommended

Very clean and modern apartment just steps from central old town. This accommodation has been established very professionally with codes for access and clear instructions for the operation of the apartment. It was comfortable, bright and spacious and we did not lack for anything. It was quiet at night. The building has been in one family for many decades and has been so nicely updated and converted. Cute balcony among the green tree tops.
