Abenteuer

Sauber, zweckmäßig und wenn man zwischen 20 und 30 Jahren alt ist, ist man nachts mitten im Leben. Die Klimaanlage ist toll, da das Fenster zu einem winzigen Innenhof aufging, der überdacht war und man nicht wirklich lüften konnte.

Man bekommt eigentlich nicht das, was man erwartet, obwohl das Foto vom Zimmer korrekt ist. Eine Pension ohne Personal (Selfcheck-In) im zweiten Stock und ohne Parkmöglichkeiten. Man muss es mögen, mit dem Koffer vom nächsten Parkhaus 650 m durch die belebte Innenstadt zu ziehen, um dann den Koffer über eine steile Treppe hochzuwuchten. Der Geruch ist zunächst unausstehlich, aber nach einer Weile riecht man das nicht mehr.

It was a ok overall experience but not sure if would return

Room was nice and spacious; they clean the room everyday; very close to most of the places we wanted to go… “to sleep and go” is fine.

The steep staircase; the noise we could hear from the other rooms; The street were is located… lots of people sat on the floor and drinking… didn’t feel very comfortable on walking to the apartment; the owners could see a way of making it feel more nice and welcoming like the other “Casual” hotels spread around Bilbao.

Clean and comfortable in a great location.

The property had all the comforts. A Spacious room and bathroom for two. Good location near bars and restaurants in the old town.

Parking was advertised but this was simply a 10% discount on the public car park.

La entrada es con código, fácil y cómodo. Muy limpio, la cama muy cómoda. La pensión está muy bien organizada con su baño privado en la habitación, tiene como una pequeña “cocina “ común con microondas , nevera y útiles de cocina. La ubicación en el casco viejo y está a 20min caminando de todo. Muy bien comunicado con todo tipo de transporte público.

Está en una calle con mucha vida nocturna. Pero sin embargo se duerme bien, Ya que las ventanas están muy bien insonorizadas.

Excelente ubicación y apartamente muy cómodo.

La localización era espectacular. No se escucha nada de todo el barullo de la gente de la calle. Se está muy cómodo en las habitaciones y está muy límpio.

Se escuchan las personas que hay en el apartamento cuando estan en la zona del café (debería haber un horario para que antes de las 12 pm no quede nadie fuera en el pasillo). Además entra mucha luz por debajo de la puerta de la habitación (habitación 201). La luz no se apagaba en el pasillo. El agua de la ducha no salía del todo caliente.

Maravillosa estancia en Bilbao

Lo mejor del hotel es su maravillosa ubicación en casco viejo de Bilbao. Destacar también la comodidad y limpieza de la habitación, así como la insonorización (nuestra ventana daba a la calle de abajo en la que se encuentran diversos bares y no hemos tenido ningún problema con el ruido).

Las escaleras para acceder al hotel son bastante inclinadas.

Comfortable rooms in an excellent location

We arrived in Bilbao during their annual Basque festival which was a great experience. The accommodation was right over one of the main party streets but surprisingly the windows were very sound proof (except when the nightly fireworks were in full swing)! The room was a good size, comfortable beds and there was a shared kitchenette with a microwave, fridge etc The location was great in the centre of the old city and an easy walk to the metro station and lots of attractions.

Walking up the 3 flights of stairs with our suitcases - but we knew this when we booked. There wasn't anywhere to wash the dishes in the kitchenette so we had to wash them in our bathroom.

Great place to stay in the old town of Bilbao. 5 minutes walk to the train station.

The location is great, right in the Old town of Bilbao. We got the bus from the airport to the centre of Bilbao and then it was a 20 minute walk along the Grand Via which is their main street to the accommodation. The bus cost us 3 euros each and takes approx. 15 minutes to the centre. Really easy. There's a busy bar in the street outside of the apartment, but the sound later on at night does not travel through to the room. The shower is tiny so if you are a bigger person you will struggle. There is also 44 steps up to the room from the outside door. This was no problem for us, but some people who have breathing problems, etc it may be. We had no problems and would recommend the place. No one meets you, it is all coded to get in.

Nothing apart from the shower being so tiny. The shower itself works great. One small concern was that the code to get in the main building was exactly the same code to get in the next two doors.

The checking in process. We were asked to do this on line which didn't work and was inconvenient., We had to go to a different hotel to check in. Best would have been to offer this option with the checkin hotel address at the same time as offering the on line option. Also we were told it was easy fo find our actual hotel. It wasn't. A small map would have been helpful-

Central location & very comfortable fair value but it is high season

Nothing, I got what I paid for. Do not go here if you’re expecting 5 star. I believe it’s one star but the service & staff were 5 star

My only issue is about security - there needs to be two factor authentication either by app, smart card or fingerprint/ eye recognition.

Living in the old town

A spatious room right in the heart of the old city. The location was perfect and the room was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The communication with the hosts was easy and the check-in process so simple.

Great little hotel in the heart of old town, definitely value for money

Amazing location in the heart of the old town, very lively neighbourhood with a lot of restaurants and shops. Super clean, was not expecting daily cleaning and towel/bedding changes. Amazing value for money, would highly recommend.

The walls are a little thin so if your neighbours are a bit loud you can hear it, but not a massive issue at all.
