Al sinds 5 jaar komen wij iedere zomer naar Atana. We hebben veel personeel voorbij zien komen. Gelukkig is Nour er onze vaste badmeester.
De geschakelde familiekamer die ons was toegewezen was toe aan vernieuwing. De kozijnen van de badkamer waren verrot. Je kon je hier lelijk aan verwonden. De koelkast deed het niet. Erg jammer vooral omdat we hier ieder jaar komen!

A hotel fantasztikus,szép,tiszta ,árérték arányban kiváló. Félpanziós ellátást kértünk, amit nem bántunk meg, nagyon finomak voltak az ételek. Az étteremről előző hozzá szólásokban olvastam,hogy tumultus volt,hát ez a mi esetünkben nem volt így ,mindig volt bőven szabad asztal. Minden látványosság közel van hozzá, taxi mindig van a szálloda előtt! Külön köszönet azért,hogy szóltunk ,hogy két egymáshoz közeli szobát szeretnénk,és konkrétan egymás melletti szobákat kaptunk.És külön köszönet még a 10. emeleten takarító Haider nevezetű fiúnak,nagyon kedves volt, mindig kaptunk vizeket pluszba ha kértünk,de mindenki nagyon kedves volt! Tervezünk visszamenni Dubaiban és csak is újra ebben a szállodában szállunk majd meg,sőt ismerősöknek is bátran fogom ajánlani! A szállodát negatívan beállító kommenteket nem is értem ! Nekünk minden nagyon szuper volt!

I, Daniel, and my partner, Xenia, checked in at a 4-star hotel called Athena in Dubai on 10.05.23 with a woman named Anika who claimed to be the manager and Anika treated us in an aggressive and hostile manner, Anika gave us a room on the 16th floor 1669 when we entered the room we were amazed at the level of dirt and filth in the room even There were stains of dirt on the walls and the ceiling and also on the curtains, there were stains of mold and moisture on the ceiling and on the walls in the bathroom and toilets, and there was also a pungent and burning smell of a chemical substance in the entire room. After we complained about the condition of the room, Anika changed the room for us to another room on the 19th floor in 1957 which was Also very dirty and a lot of dust everywhere and under the bed. Annika did not apologize after I asked her if she knew about the condition of the rooms and the feeling of sadness she gave us from the poor standard of the rooms and the level of cleanliness was unbearable.
In addition to the bad condition of the rooms, we had other incidents in the room, a blockage in the sink in the bathroom, there was no strong flow of water in the shower, there was no cold water in the shower faucet to regulate the heat of the unbearable boiling water so that we could take a shower, there was only one electrical outlet in the entire room, no The room has enough sockets to use for electrical products and to charge cell phones. We left the room at 2pm, I realized that I had forgotten my earrings in the bathroom. I go to the reception a few hours later, the receptionist tells me that they are going to check because the room is not occupied again. We had to insist that the hotel manager come to meet us. He called the cleaning man who had cleaned our room and ask him to come to the hotel. I had to go to the airport to get my flight. Surprisingly, the manager sent me a message once he saw the cleaning man and told me that they had found my earrings. He told that he had forgotten them on his trolley, but the receptionist had checked it before and found nothing on it! The cleaning man had just stolen my earrings. No one sent my earrings back, the hotel told me that the post service cannot send gold earrings. What a beautiful lie and what a shame.

The location is good, that it is close to METRO. But was hard to find the restaurants around for lunch.
The breakfast was OK, but too crowded and elevators are too busy at peak times (waiting period for elevator 10-15 min, even more if you are a big family).
Room was good, but balcony was dirty and the balcony door was hard to open and door was behind the sofa, that makes it uncomfortable.
Pool area looks much bigger and better on photos, but actually it is not that good.

What I like was that this hotel.is in the city , close to amenities
The food does not worth value for money, no varieties, we have to wait for harsh brown for over 30mins before being served. Our bath tub paint was peeling off on our feet as we bath , very disgusting. And the shower had scale so you cant really get a full shower in the bath. Most of the food are served very cold, on ome occassion I had to complain that the rice was so cold and very hard /dry. This hotel is not well looked after compared to others. I am very dissapointed by the overall service. Staff were nice to us though.

Staff were excellent. Pool was very nice. Sauna and steam room included. Fresh waters, coffee, tea every day. New towels and sheets when requested. Tiled floor in the bedroom was excellent. Not far from the Metro but I didn't use it as the Taxis were fairly cheap. Lobby area looked amazing.
Breakfast needs improving. The overall layout was really poor compared with the rest of the Hotel. The food selection was better in the other hotels I stayed in. You can order an omelette which was good. Coffee was the worst I have tasted in a long time. Sauna and steam room needs redecorating now! Sauna seats very bad, steam room smelled mouldy. They let the overall look but at least you could use them :) You waited for the Lifts at the busy time but that is the same with most Hotels I think. Beds were a bit hard. Used old fashioned mini shower gels/shampoo - would be better and more responsible to have refillable larger ones.
