Bien situé mais travaux à côté et peu nettoyé

Personnel très sympathique et disponible. Petit déjeuner varié. Très bien situé près du grand marché Ben Thanh (mais trop touristique). Lits confortables et clim fonctionnelle.

Un seul ascenseur pour desservir les 11 étages. Il faut être patient. Chambre pas lavée. Le sol est collant, pas récuré. Poussière sur chaque table, étagère et commode de sdb avec un résidu de colle qui accroche tous les habits. Chasse d'eau pas très fonctionnelle :( Attention, travaux dans l'immeuble d'à côté ! Marteau piqueur, perceuse et marteau dès 7h00 du matin et pendant toute la journée jusqu'à 18h00. Très très bruyant et désagréable... Mais les fenêtres en double vitrage isolent bien de la route et des klaxons.

The location is great! The service from the staff was excellent, ever wanting to help wherever possible.

The carpet in the hotel needs to be clean and shampooed. It looks dated and dirty.

This was a welcome stopover from the UK to Australia.

A beautiful hotel in which to relax with very clean & airconditioned rooms. A great retreat when the heat is too much. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety to cover everyone's taste. Afternoon tea was an added bonus after a morning spent sightseeing, shopping or swimming in the roof top pool. The rooms were also excellent, very clean and roomy. The staff could not be faulted - friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel and city as a great place to explore and relax.

We needed two rooms which was okay but we were put on different floors. It would have been more convenient to be all put on the same floor. Also, we only had one key per room, and this limited us in how we could come & go, eg if one wanted to go upstairs for a swim while the other wanted to go out shopping.

happy!!

im enjoy to stay here. the room very amazing. breakfast is variable but no more choice for muslim. im just eat bread. fruit and vegeee. but im satisfying to stay here. the location to go ben thang market around 10min walking.

Nice Location

The room was smaller than I thought it was. I preferred the previous room I stayed in.

Bit confused about the lift to the room. There were renovations being done (noisy) and the escape ladder looked into my room.

Beautiful hotel close to everything

This was a beautiful older style hotel in a great location walking distance to Ben Thanh. our room was lovely. Breakfast was great and the staff very helpful

Exceptional

Absolutely everything. This is a beautiful hotel with fantastic staff and facilities. Food is superb. Location is great too. Excellent value and we would definitely stay here again. Recommended by our daughter who stayed here in 2022. Roof top bar at night is lovely too.

There's nothing to dislike at this hotel. We loved everything here.

Great

I stayed 4 nights at the Alagon D`antique and really enjoyed it. Staff, rooms, style of hotel, breakfast, location in the center but still quite - everything was to my full satisfaction. Even the pool, which was critized in some reviews, was clean and perfectly located on the roof of the hotel. I stay in a lot hotel, business wise and privately each year and I can say I can really recommend this hotel. I have no clue why it has only a 7.8 on booking. It fully diserves a 9.0 minimum. I will stay here again when I come back to Saigon.

I would choose this place again next time.

I stayed at alagon hotel four years ago and was very impressed, especially the breakfast and afternoon tea were very rich and delicious. However, when I came to stay in the hotel this time, the breakfast was not as good as before, the PHO was not as delicious as before, the dishes were not as much as before, and the afternoon tea was not as rich as before. There was a little regret. In addition to breakfast and afternoon tea, the comfort of the rooms, the pool service, the rooftop bar are all excellent, the front desk staff, the housekeeping are all excellent. Next time I visit Ho Chi Minh City, I would choose to stay here again, but hope to improve breakfast and afternoon tea.

Not bad but there must be better out there.

The door staff and guys that did bags were so helpful. The beds were good and room was nice and it was clean. Massage team good.

Can't see reception staff as computer screens in way. Hot water hit and miss. No bedside table one side. Just silly. Breakfast quality average but not poor. Pool needs a clean really. Room was late being available and we were given late check out which was already included. Pool shared between these Alagon hotels so all a bit cramped.

The staff were exceptional and the rooms were ultra clean. Breakfast was amazing with something for everyone from pancakes to steamed veggies and noodles. The location can not be equaled - right in the middle of district one and a 4 min walk to the market. The roof top pool and bar area is awesome and the free high tea each afternoon was a lovely touch. Bruno’s service was second to none and he was extremely helpful and kind. I would only stay here in Saigon.

Breakfast had a vast range of options, from American/European to Vietnamese cuisine, vegan friendly. Everything is super clean, staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooftop with the pool and spa is amazing - lots of plants, making it an exceptional atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place, 10/10 experience!
