Un véritable hôtel destination au pied de l’océan.

Tout était parfait. La chambre avec vue offre une véritable vue sur l’océan, on entend même le bruit des vagues. Le restaurant et les petits déjeuners sont très bons et copieux. Mais surtout l’ensemble du personnel est très accueillant et toujours chaleureux. Nous espérons revenir ici un jour.

A great location with fabulous sea views

The Waterfront Hotel is in a great location. The staff were friendly and efficient. We had a large, clean and comfortable bedroom with a wonderful sea view. The bathroom was very clean and had lovely, big bath towels. There was a really good selection of hot and cold breakfast options. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and the food was really fresh and good quality.

Fabulous location and very friendly staff. We ate in the restaurant- excellent and great value for money.

Room slightly dark- smallish window, but we didn’t spend much time in there and view was good

The hotel was somewhat utilitarian but the bed was supremely comfortably, the food quite delicious and the staff universally friendly and helpful.

looking forward to returning and enjoying the fabulous food on offer.

Excellent location with fabulous views across the beach. The quality of the food was a real surprise, we had a fabulous evening meal and a lovely freshly cooked breakfast the following morning. All of the above was enhanced by the staff who were very friendly and helpful. I normally don’t do reviews but I am delighted to to give the Waterfront House a very positive review and we look forward to revisit sometime soon.

Superb

The best breakfast I have ever had. Granola (homemade) with berry compote and natural yoghurt was delicious. The Waterfront Full Irish was a continual surpirising experience of delightful flavours, textures and aromas. From the substantial bacon to the delicate spicey white pudding with fluffy, crispy sautee potatoes and juicy mushrooms and tomato on the side, the whole ensemble was a joy from start to finish. The view of the beach was so interesting that I sat by the window looking out for five minutes at the line of surfers bearing boards on the way to the sea which was all of two hundred yards away from the dunes. The room was palatial with a very comfortable king size double and a single bed as well as a table, armchairs and upright chairs. The ensuite was also enormous with bath, shower, toilet and basin, as well as a connecting dressing-room/luggage room.

A slight stale smell on first entering the building was the only imperfection. However this disappeared as one became accustomed to it. Opening the windows also helped as the beautiful fresh sea air flooded into the room.
