It was very authentic country Italian in the heart of the Sorrento country. Beautiful first experience with my family.

The fresh fruit trees. The roof top view was great! Very authentic Italian Sorrento Country.

Views from the rooftop were fantastic. Francesco was very welcoming and very responsive to any questions we had.

The villa is in need of modernisation. The electrics are old and most sockets don't work. The hot water tank holds enough water only for 1or 2 showers and takes at least 30minutes to be warm enough for the next shower. The kitchen smells musty when sitting at the table. The kettle doesn't switch off until you unplug it. All are relatively minor issues and could so easily be fixed to make the stay much more comfortable.

Beautiful view, super-fast wifi, quirky/rustic building.

The property has got a character. Very interesting pictures on the walls. The person who met us at the property was friendly and provided us with a lot of information on arrival. The view from the terrace is spectacular. The internet is very fast. Communication with the property was really good, they would always respond quickly and try to help with any queries.

The walking distance from town is 400 ft down/up the very steep steps/roads with pretty much no lights and no pavement. If you are not up for walking you would need to use a taxi which is quite pricey or a bus. Sometimes on arrival late at night at the villa we had to climb over the gate as the access key didn't work. Also bear in mind the whole property is a little bit run down. The biggest let down was that the showers would go cold after 1.5 people had used it. It was 4 of us and we really struggled with hot water. It would run out quickly and then take some time to heat up again which was challenging in the morning. We weren't able to use the pool at that time.

We'd go back

The views from the huge private roof terrace (and front two bedrooms) were absolutely sensational, overlooking Sorrento, Vesuvius, Naples and the outstanding Coast line. Our host Francesco couldn't have been more helpful. So friendly and was 'on call' during our whole week for any questions we had. He even arranged to have our lost luggage from the airport to be personally delivered so we didn't need to stay in. He also arranged day trips, local information and even booked restaraunts for us. 5 stars to Francesco!! The villa was very spacious and the shower was very powerful.

The kitchen was a little tired and could have done with updating. Toilet seat in 2nd bathroom broken.
