Un magnifique et insolite hébergement dans les portes de la vieille ville

L’originalité de cet hébergement est savoureux. On aime se perdre dans les couloirs et découvrir les nombreux espaces intérieurs aménagés avec soin et goût. Il est extrêmement bien entretenu et chaleureux. Les prix pratiqués en hors saison rendent cet hôtel ”de luxe” tout à fait abordable pour les prestations fournies. Un parking est à disposition avec de nombreuses places. C’est un vrai plus pour cette partie de la ville où il n’est presque pas possible de se garer.

A localização e o edifício. As camas eram confortáveis e a TV funcionava bem.

A precisar de renovação, as fotos foram trabalhadas e induzem um bocado em erro. Acredito que tenha sido um ótimo estabelecimento nos anos 80 ou 90, hoje não. Logo ao chegar ao parque de estacionamento, a campainha para abrir a cancela não funciona. As casas de banho perto da receção cheiram a esgoto e o cheiro espalha-se pelo corredor (coitado de quem ficou nesse piso). Os tapetes estão a precisar de serem trocados, as flores artificiais velhas e poerentas demonstram algum desleixo, e há muita humidade nas paredes. No quarto ouve-se absolutamente tudo: os vizinhos a falar, ressonar, espirrar e "trocar afetos". Na casa de banho, há uma banheira de hidromassagem que não funciona (mais valia ter duche italiano) e as toalhas são pequenas e velhas. O pequeno-almoço também não deslumbra.

Nous avons eu une chambre dont la fenêtre donnait sur un salon. Lugubre! Les tables de nuit consistaient en un bout de bois maintenu par une vis .., L accueil au petit déjeuner est déplorable . La terrasse avec la piscine en abandon. La piscine n était pas en service et nous n avions pas été prévenus au préalable.

Hotelli oli täynnä kiinalaisia turisteja, joista joku tai jotkut polttivat tupakkaa huoneissa. Aamupalalla oli kovaa etuilua jonossa. Alkoi harmittaa koko paikka. Henkilökunnan olisi pitänyt ohjeistaa aamulla odottamaan kunnes kiinalaiset olisivat saaneet aamupalansa.

*Parque de estacionamento garantido. *Pequeno almoço ótimo. *Funcionárias simpáticas e prestáveis na área alimentar. O seu uniforme deveria ser uma jaleca e não apenas um avental. *Atendimento na recepção de excelência em procurar o melhor para o cliente. Avaliação geral, ótimo com pontos a melhorar.

*Consumíveis de WC muito limitados (com dois minúsculos sabonetes sólidos, e um minúsculo frasquinho de gel duche e outro de shampoo para duas pessoas. *Luminosidade de candeeiros no quarto fraca. *Indicador de água quente/fria trocado na banheira (por pouco escaldava a pele). *Mesas de cabeceira sem tomadas elétricas. * Guarda fato, sem luminosidade. *O telefone do quarto nunca funcionou.

Poder alojarme en un edificio histórico. El desayuno muy completo.

La iluminación deficiente de la habitación para poder leer o trabajar. La insuficiente insonorización, y la dificultad para conseguir una temperatura agradable en la habitación.

- super friendly and supportive staff ( perfect English) - storage for Bicycle - very nice historical building , nice interior - breakfast with nice patio !

- There are rooms having windows to the inside floor corridor. No problem for me, but surely not to everybody's convenience

Everything! The place, the location, the excelent service provided by the staff!

The wifi inside some part of the hotel was poor or inexistent. It could be improved. However the place is so amazing and very good to relax, thus you don't really need to be "connected".

Absolutely wonderful place to explore Elvas.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Architecture of building with the hallways, courtyard, and rooms were really beautiful.

Relatively minor detail: Could use an additional electrical outlet and pot to make hot water and coffee in room for morning.

A nice place to stay with a beautiful view

I did not realize that I booked a room without a real window. I was lucky to be able upgrade on the spot for a very moderate price. The room with a balcony is lovely. The receptionist was very nice. The hotel is well situated to avoid driving narrow streets and being able to walk to all the sites. The swimming pool was closed when we stayed but it seems very nice, as well as the garden.

Charming, quaint place to stay while to explore beautiful Elvas and it's surroundings.

nice breakfast with several choices of breads, fruits, cheese, meats, yougurt, fresh juices, eggs. Located in a place within the city walls making it reasonably easy to walk everywhere around the churches, castle, mercado etc. A short drive to the forts and a minute drive to the aqueduct. Only an hour to Merida Spain with it's roman ruins to explore. great price, loved the old furniture, the patio for eating breakfast was awesome too. so beautiful.

I had minor dust allergies in the room. The room did look very clean but probably just time to do a good once over cleaning the draperies etc. Internet sign was moderate to great for my work. Would like more plug ins to charge up phones, work equipment.

Great location with parking, and despite some drawbacks a good choice for Elvas

the location with parking is excellent. The hotel is a converted monastery and the rooms very considerably and can make a difference in how enjoyable your stay is. the staff is very friendly and very helpful.

The breakfast room is a bit dreary and the breakfast is not a four-star hotel, the standard . The pool area looks nice, but the pool was close to the end of May when I was there.

Right inside the city walls with parking. Lovely patio area. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. A good selection for breakfast. Was surprised it didn't have a restaurant but the receptionst recommended an excellent one just 20 metres away. A

A double bed instead of a king-size. We chose this hotel specifically for it's disability facilities, but the main ramp to access the lift, restaurant etc was too steep to use safely.

A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful Portuguese city!

Lovely historical hotel in a superb location with stunning views of the aqueduct and surrounding countryside. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made excellent sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. We will definitely return!

Room is spacious and clean. Our room has a balcony with garden view. The views are very beautiful. Staff is very friendly and has recommended us a local restaurant which served good quality Portugal food and not too pricy.

Hotel management went the extra mile to ensure that my reservation was not lost due to a last minute expected event. Great location and value for money.

A nice choice for a short - or longer - stay in Elvas.

We were pleased with everything: the location just in side the city wall (with free private parking), the large and attractively decorated room and bathroom with lots of space and a large bath with hydromassage jets, the attractive patio where we enjoyed an early evening drink and the excellent breakfast - inlcuding local treats like Elvas plums. In addition, all the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful.

Nothing to mention here.

Plenty of their own easily accessible parking. Good breakfast selection.

All parts of the hotel were in need of some maintenance e.g. replace broken/missing light bulbs, repair broken tiles.

Well-located hotel. Roma are very spacious. Breakfast was adequate.

Central location with secure parking available. Beautiful old Convent/Hospital refurbished into a hotel. Huge rooms with a view and plentiful commodities. Excellent breakfast.

Maybe an extra light in the room could be good.
