Convenient location and friendly pub stay

Location; friendliness; comfortable bed; friendly staff.

Not much! Lack of alternative restaurants around but that could be because we stayed on a Sunday night and the town was very quiet.

Very nice place with great food

Great hotel where you feel right at home. Locals are walking in for a beer, you can have food in the pub in the front, but also choose to sit in the restaurant in the back of the building. Amazing food, friendly staff, good breakfast, tidy room.

The shower is in the bath tub and no matter what you do, you will get the floor wet.

Excellent place to stay when visiting Highgrove.

Staff were very welcoming, considerate and extremely helpful. Friendly, happy atmosphere. Good sized room.

Would of appreciated a proper shower in room as opposed to just a hand held attachment from bath taps.

Excellent for an overnight stop with a great breakfast menu.

Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Although a small bed it was comfy.

Comfortable and good value.

Ideal location in the centre of Tetbury. Comfortable, cosy room. Very pleasant bar facilities with friendly staff.

Bit of a trek from the long stay car park, but parking is free.

It started as a happy family occasion, but we were upset as our daughter was ill. It ended well.

Unfortunately , our daughter was taken ill and admitted to hospital overnight for observation. The receptionist aided me in calling a taxi and it being available for me to return to the hospital quickly.

Rather stayed in a YMCA.

The staff understanding and being moved to a new room as the 1st was unacceptable.

Dust and hair in the bed , woodwork wiped down so no spillage there. Omg the dust … just needed cleaning and bathrooms really need to be updated as cracks and damage to the white goods have just been a bodged and tiles just stuck on with cilicone.

Lovely location and great hotel.

We stayed there as we were attending a wedding on the Saturday. We arrived Saturday morning before check in just to drop bags and get the key, but they went above and beyond and cleaned a room making it available to us. Staff were very helpful.

Very comfortable and efficient stay.

There was plenty enough options for breakfast which was provided efficiently and the rooms provided everything I needed.

There wasn't many staff around, particularly when I arrived and left. Only saw 3 members of staff over the time I was there. But that may just have been a busy time.

Perfect for what we needed: a central location close to the church and wedding venue.

Overall everything was fine: the staff were all friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good. The central location was perfect and although our room looked out onto bricks and mortar, it meant that it was actually very quiet.

The mattress was so soft that each time we turned over we thought we were going to fall off the edge. The fact that the floor sloped didn't help.

great location.

a little tired rooms need modernisation. breakfast was ok - not a great choice on the breakfast. service a bit erratic. meal came before the tea and coffee. we asked for sauces - they were forgotten and arrived when the meal was almost eaten staff very apologetic
