Best roadside motel experience

Efficient contactless check-in, great location (there’s a food truck right across the road that serves delicious meals for breakfast), you can fuel your car in the morning as you also have the gas station nearby. The room was very nice and clean. It was very comforting to enjoy the sunset from the rooftop deck. The attention to details is tremendous in this spot, the property manager does a great job!

A very good stay

I was impressed with Stonewall Motor Lodge. It wasn't necessary to check in or check out as we do with other motels. We just drove straight to our room. Everything is taken care of through text or email, which was a very easy and convenient process. The room was exceptionally clean, there was coffee, a refrigerator, and good TV cable or dish channels that included apps such as Netflix and others. It was a very nice stay.

The room didn't have a microwave.

I loved everything about it. quiet and peaceful. room 12 was perfect. lovely sitting areas outside.

It was a nice experience for us as we always stay at motels…. this lodge was our first!…. Definitely letting folks know!

it was really nice…. didn’t walk to the back until morning… long day at Fredericksburg…. wished we would have gone … didn’t know it would be that nice….

The mirror in bathroom not close enough for ladies to put makeup on or extra lighting…. but nice bathroom

fun for family! we will return here again!

Our boys loved the shed and outdoors areas, and we enjoyed the comfort of the rooms!

could have used some more storage to put away luggage, and walls were a little thin (or our neighbors were just really loud!).

Very nice place to stay, many options, rooms, cabins, RV hook ups. Very nice place to stay.

The raised deck was very nice. Quick friendly responses to our needs or requests.

Not many places to eat, less you travel, but that wasn't to hotels fault.

Clean, comfortable, reasonable, accommadating!

Cleanliness, easy in & out, plenty of towels on hand, helpful & very nice office staff. Loved sitting out on top deck at night & watching the stars.

If you are staying there because you saw it on Re- motel then you saw it already

Good value clean updated room

I did not like that you could hear the talking from the next room. I booked because of seeing it on tv, there was no entertainment or enticement to sit outside for that reason I will stay in town like I have in years past.

Such a cute place, totally remodeled and very clean and comfortable! So appreciate being able to check in early before our winery tour!

Fun stay with a great vibe and clean fantasticly decorated room.

Great location for us because we split out time between the Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye and Fredericksburg. Live music, wine and snacks on Saturday.

It was right on the highway and so there was a lot of road noise, but it is a motor lodge…..

Warm, inviting atmosphere. Events were created that visitors could participate in: wine tasting with live music and appetizers, and a welcoming rooftop lounge area where guests could mingle and get to know each other.

Its very well staged and cute with retro furnishings and art. The towels were nice and the beds were comfy. The person working here was very nice and the grounds in back are relaxing. I liked the door code to get in. It was the last 4 of my phone number making it easy to remember.

I really dont like the Kurig coffee machines. You cant just make your own hot water and it is just more plastic garbage. On top of that our machine was broken and I had to mess with it for a long time still not getting a cup. So our first day we had no coffee machine. Got a replacement the next morning. The other big issue is that the AC is SO LOUD. I would fall asleep then it would kick on and wake me up, repeat. Loudest ever and I travel a lot. Also, no microwave. If this were a 100-125 a night room I would be fine but it was $225. Pricey for form over function. Oh, and bring a ladder to turn on the bedside light...you'll see.
