Ótima localização. Tranquilidade e conforto.

A casa era muito gira e confortável. Com grandes dimensões. A piscina ótima para quem tem miúdos e pertinho das piscinas naturais e do vulcão. 5 estrelas.

Struttura accogliente dotata di tutto l'indispensabile. Sistemazione indipendente con spazi comuni con diversi servizi come piscina, griglia e tavolini. Consigliata per chi è alla ricerca della tranquillità assoluta.

Our stay in Sandra's house was wonderful and she was so helpful. Lovely, comfortable and spacious house and the host was excellent. She replied to any queries in minutes and even arranged a transfer to the airport for us. Would recommend.

Our stay at Casal do Vulcão was very good! This peaceful and beautiful place, made of volcanic stones, is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a perfect location to explore Vulcao dos Capelinhos and the rest of the island. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the well-equipped kitchen made our stay more comfortable. We also loved the beach nearby.

The bathroom was a bit small and the beds showed some signs of humidity. While this didn't significantly impact our stay.

Very calm and comfortable place. Close to the light house and museum. The owner answered all our questions before the arrival very fast. We got even surprised with a small gift for our honeymoon.

Nice private place with pool

Nice private traditional holiday home with garden, pool and small playground for kids. Kind and friendly host. Clean rooms and equipped kitchen.

Breakfast was poor. The humidity level in the house was too high for us.

Volcano house

Beautiful small home and very helpful and kind owners. The volcano is close by and certainly worth visiting.

One or two minor problems (e.g. electricity cut at night), but owners were always ready to help out.

Great, quiet location

Great little place very close to Capelinhos volcanic centre. Lovely pool for a swim after a long walk and silence at night. Great reception by Sandra. Very convenient if using public transport- the one bus a day stops right outside.

You must come prepared with supplies. Turned out there is no cafe at volcano and the nearest shop is about 45 minutes walk each way. Obviously not a problem if you have a car. Luckily I got a lift one way.

A truly remarkable place - the closest point to the western part of the island. Some minutes of walking to the famous lighthouse and the volcano place. Probably the best location to stay and you have the entire house. Super quiet, very clean. All houses, built up from the volcanic stones, are fully equipped with all you may need and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed the outlook of the property. The parking is outside the gates.

Fantastic place. As it is quite isolated, please keep in mind that there is no place to have a meal nearby.

A beautiful Place to appreciate Capelino and the Island of Fajal

Sandra's welcome and kindness in making us feel at home, in giving us advice that proved invaluable, and in taking the time even to find us a restaurant on our late arrival. Beautiful location near Capelino, a magical place on the Island of Fajal. Cosy flats with possibilità of heating or cooling.

This is a wonderful pension run by a family. They did treat me very personally. They went out of their way to help me. When it turned that I needed space for several hours of remote work (which wasn't agreed earlier) they opened and cleaned another room for me for no additional cost. We also talked a lot. The location is very nice: you get on foot to the volcano or hiking paths. The area is full of natural beauty. I will come again.

Excellent location very close to the Capelinhos volcano. Very rustical, felt very cozy during a rainy night and morning.

Fantastic place very well located to the wonderfull vulcao site ! You feel home and in close contact to nature ! Very nice breakfast as well very nice host! .. and cherry on the cake à swimming pool !

Little paradise

I wish we stayed longer. It is only 25’ to horta so if one would like to explore Pico it is good location. For Faial it is everywhere close and if u prefer taxi they would come and collect you within half an hour. Houses well equipped. Grill and lovely garden with small but well maintained and cute pool. And birds! what a treat. Short walk to natural swimming pools and volcano.

Very cozy and quiet

Had a great stay here and even extended. Very quiet area, there are no neighbors, just nature. You can do great hikes from here.

Hot water was available only sometimes, so taking a shower was not very comfortable. Also you have to be creative preparing dinner, there is no fully equipped kitchen, only a microwave and water boiler. I think everyone had to decide for themselves if this is the right fit.
