About this house rental

-This is a lovely spacious modern home, situated in St James Ave, on an elevated section, overlooking the pond, ducks and park in Chisholm Crescent. Capturing all day sun, the decks surround the living areas and give you beautiful views up to Conical Hill, or across the pond to the township.
-Very central location, being only a 3 minute stroll to the famous Hanmer Thermal pools.
- Boulder point shopping only a 2 minute walk with a lovely cafe
- 2 minute walk to coriander leaf or MK Restaurant
-Ideal for the large family or groups
- Entertaining alfresco or indoors with the comforts of home
-Sleeps 9 in 4 bedrooms, master with full ensuite.
-Fully furnished, including log burner
- Heatpump in the hallway so the bedrooms are always cosy, we have also now added a heatpump in the dining/kitchen area, so you choose the fire or the heatpump
- HRV ventilation system which keeps the home fresh and aired out
-Smart TV
-Sky TV(with sports and movie channels available) CD and Stereo
-1 bathroom with shower
-Seperate toilet
-Ensuite with Shower and toilet
-Double garage and off street parking
-Gas water heating, so no one ever has to run out of hot water
- Sleeping - Duvets, blankets and pillows all supplied, bring your own linen
-Linen- Linen is not supplied - Hire service available on request
-Gas bottle for BBQ not provided, available for hire at $7.00per night
-Tenants are required to clean this home upon departure, so that it is tidy for the next tenant, however we do offer an optional cleaning service(excluding bed making and dishwashing).
-We welcome you to our quite spacious home, it is a great place to unwind, and take in the lovely views and surrounds of Hanmer Springs anytime of the year.
-quiet peaceful setting but so close to everything, you can just park up the car and walk everywhere, being only 3 min scroll to town or thermal pools (which is a must), there are also heaps of activities to do if you want to, which include jet boating, horse trekking, mini golf, or many of the walking or biking tracks, just to name a few.

Special conditions:
We do not accept bookings made for groups of individuals who have anyone under 20 years of age(please note: this does not include families with children under 20 or groups of workers).
There is a surcharge for a one night booking of $30, we do not accept one night bookings during weekends or school holidays.(unless filling a gap)
3 nights minimum stay for Easter or Christmas
Extras: Cleaning (Optional, NZ$155.00per stay); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: BRING YOUR OWN LINEN (towels/sheets); We can arrange for you to hire these if needed.
Linen Hire prices - King sheets $22per set, Queen sheets $18 single sheets $15, bath towels $5, Hand towels $3, bed making $8.50

Just some feedback: - rubbish bins were full - no bin collection instructions - dining area floor was dirty - we left property cleaner than we arrived - blue linen bag was difficult to find Positives: - great location - nice property - nice and cosy

Loved being able to walk everywhere. Fire was awesome. We were a bit confused that the house is listed as 3 bathrooms when it only has two. Otherwise spacious and warm. Great for a family get together.

The property was very clean and had all the necessities for a relaxing break away. We were a group of 9 and there was plenty of space, the beds were very comfortable and the showers had great pressure. Lots of spaces to relax in front of the fire! We also thoroughly appreciated the smart tv for our study sessions. Excellent communication from the host and property management team. We had a great time in this gorgeous home!

The house was spacious and comfortable with lots of sunlight, the heat pump in the lounge wasn't working but there is a fire ready to light. A lovely centrally located property.

The house is beautiful, well-designed, and well-located. But t had two flaws, one major and one minor. Major: Although it has a washing machine, there is no dryer, which makes the washer completely useless. We had to go into town to do our laundry. Minor: Only one very small trash can in the entire house. More importantly, the company that manages the home, which I'm told manages numerous properties in Hanmer Springs, does a terrible job. Here's why: We had "hired" linen, and none was there when we arrived. We finally got sheets at 10:20pm, and only the top sheets arrived. A half hour later, after another call, the remaining sheets, pillow cases, and bath towels arrived. Two of our group slept on the mattress with no sheets that night. The next day they delivered hand towels. What's more, the four sets of sheets were for 3 different sized beds, and there was no indication on the sheets which ones were for which beds. Aside from the poor delivery, I would expect when we hire linen that we would find the beds already made up. Further, although the kitchen is well stocked with utensils, there are zero amenities in the house. We were left exactly one tiny "round" of soap for use in two bathrooms. It took another day for them to deliver two more disks of soap. We would love to stay here again, but only with the assurance that the management group had gotten its act together. One member of our group is in the hospitality business, and he simply couldn't believe the poor management.

This was a lovely & spacious house for our 2 families for our short stay in Hanmer Springs. The house comfortably slept 8 of us & was a very convenient location for town & the thermal pools. We chose the option to clean it ourselves as the cost was quite high, but it would have been good to have more detail about what that entailed before arrival. Also, the cost for the linen was extremely expensive when compared to other places we stayed. Would recommend to others due to it's location & the house was lovely.

Over all, the property was in an amazing condition. There was however an issue with the security light outside the master bedroom. At night time, it would keep flicking on and off which would cause the master bedroom to light up. We couldn't find the switch to turn this light off which unfortunately lead to a couple of restless nights sleep for the two of us in the master bedroom

Well set house without basic daily needs, shampoo, hair-conditioner, hair dryer, bed linens, dishwasher powder, heater in each bedroom & etc. Thus it not suitable for travellers from overseas like us.

Lovely gardens/walkway to town right near house. Lovely views. Online says 3bath but there’s only main bathroom, toilet seperate room and the ensuite. Beds comfy and plenty of heating options, we enjoyed the wood fire.

Accomodation was great and perfect location. Only grumble was the average cleanliness of the property. It appeared to have had a very quick once-over-lightly clean prior to our arrival. Was in need of a more thorough clean.

Perfect space for girls reunion. Plenty of beds of the 6 of us. Even managed with only2 bathrooms! Walked to town and Hot pools. It was definitely worth it to pay extra for bedding, towels and cleaning. Would stay again.

Excellent location, overlooking a pond and park. Walking distance to town centre. Tidy, comfortable and modern home. Need to pay extra for linen, BBQ use, and have strict rules around cleaning up. Previous occupants had filled recycling bin with beer bottles and left us with no space.
