The location was really excellent, great location!!

We booked it for 4 people but, it was space ( bad) for 3 people!!!! We have 1 shared bathroom with the other 2 room`s Guest. It means 10 people for one bathroom. The restroom was in the bathroom. Can you imagine we you have to go to the restroom, and you have to wait for 80 minutes??????? It was not really reasonable!!!!! We left the room better condition, when we arrived!!!! The room has only 1 light no TV no, reading light…….even no sink where you can wash up your things!!!!

Looks as if you arrived home

Located in the P2 parking, the best to start hiking from. We booked the appartment. It has 3 rooms, a spacious kitchen, a very large living room and a very large terrace. Nicely furnished and decorated. The kitchen has everything you need. Enough plates, cutlery, extra trashbags, microwave and water boiler. The whole place was like we arrived home. Definetely a must accommodation! There is a small buffet next to the building, open in need-times, also a shop with necessary clothings if you miss something, or necessary food if you don't want to drive back to the town. The road to the lodge is narrow, full of bends and very nice.

Perfect stay for holidays or some quiet time in beautiful nature!

Due to a system error, we got an alternative accommodation in Odda, which was super beautiful, clean, nicely decorated and had all facilities for cooking, a nice bathroom, comfy living room, nice view of nature, and very comfortable beds. It was very quiet, which was perfect for someone like me who gets easily stressed by noise, and the air was also really good in the apartment.

The location was a bit far from our guided hike tour in Odda, however our tour guide had free seats in his car, so we had no trouble to get to our Trolltunga Active hike meeting point the next morning. The TV channels in the apartment were very limited, which is not a big issue as I rarely watch TV, but it would have been nice to have other channels to choose from (there was ony a sports/soccer channel).

Excellent stay!

Excellent location, you can walk right to your comfy bed after walking the Trolltunga! The facilities were good. The only communication with the staff was by phone, but very quick in response and friendly.

There aren't a lot of food options around, but the accomodation does provide a large refrigerator.

Perfect before the Trolltunga hike

this place met our expectations, we chose it for its location which is perfect for the Trolltunga hike the following day. We could leave our car there which is really nice to not pay the parking fees as well

not super clean (dust on the shelfs), not a lot of equipment (maybe some dishes would be great to have)

Decent place, but ask for a firm bed; and the price is high even by Norwegian standards.

The bed was one of those you sink in to. Not what you need after a day of hiking - a firm bed would've been much nicer. Also, some proper (i.e. not disposable) cups and plates would've been nice.

Shared bathroom for this money… Very bad soundproof. Shop in the town closes at 8pm.

It's right at P2 for the trolltunga hike. The bedroom and shared quarters are cleaned regularly. There's a storeroom available to store luggage if you're arriving back after checkout time.

No public transport to the location, taxi from Odda costs 600NOK. No WiFi, 4G signal lost indoors. Clean sheets were provided to cover the mattresses, so you get to appreciate all the stains from previous travellers as you made your bed.

Excellent stop for the night before the big hike

The location is unbeatable, right at the P2 and on the way up to P3. The fact that parking is included is a great value.

A place with no wifi where 4G reception is very poor is no longer state of the art. Especially since there is a (private) wifi in place but renters are not provided the password. Also, the place has only one shared bathroom with both bath and WC. Someone uses one or the other - everyone else is up for a - sometimes long - wait. In our case, a guy from another room took a shower for 30mins and the kids were cold from swimming in the lake, and also needed to use the restroom. We stayed 2 nights but would definitely recommend to keep it to one night.

Very good

It is good for the money. The owner is nice and very accomodating. He let us park the car while we hike. Not bad for those who will just sleep over before going to hike. 😊
